Staff was great, the location is quite good and close to other things, but also quiet and not in the middle of the party area. The room was big enough and comfortable, with a huge shower in the "deluxe" room, as well as a little balcony where you can dry your snorkeling/diving gear.

Nit picking, but the road in front of the property is not paved, so you get quite muddy getting back home. This also makes it difficult if you have a suitcase instead of a backpack, so plan/pack accordingly. This obviously has nothing to do with the property, but unless you want to be woken up by the prayers from the mosque nearby every morning at 5am, make sure you use the provided ear plugs. Our room also had an unfortunate angle, and then sun rays would hit the bed exactly on my face during sunrise through the bathroom glass door and ceiling, meaning you cannot use any curtains to avoid it. Again, nit picking, use a sleep mask and you should be fine.

The hotel was small boutique and cute. Very clean, very professional and staff also so welcoming. I felt home after a week of stay here.

One thing I didn't read in the reviews, was that the hotel is VERY close to the mosque and you will be disturbed 5-6 times a day for 15-30mins at a time. The prayers are on a speaker, so even with a closed door it in LOUD. I could cope with it, but nothing like a 4.30am alarm....for a WAKE up jolt! This is the only bad part of the hotel, but not their fault.

Staff were so lovely. Room was comfortable, fridge in the room, clean and great location (close enough but quiet enough you don’t get woken up from the bars etc). Free water refills were great. Felt very private without being far out from the main area. Rental bikes were in good condition. Would come back here again.

Think this might be an island wide thing but there was no running water out of the shower, sink or taps early in the morning between 6-9 approx. so if you need to catch an early ferry make sure you shower the night before.

Lovely spot in a walking distance from the harbour and basically everything else you would need. Clean and cozy rooms. The staff are nice and welcoming and even helped me when I was sick. :) Would’ve been perfect without a few problems

The place has a serious problem of people smoking close to the AC inlets, which makes the smoke come inside the room. And we’re not talking about a little odour, the room would smell like someone had been smoking inside the room and my things smell like cigarettes… The staff offered me to change my room but unfortunately that didn’t solve the problem.

Loved the smoothie bowl and omelette for breakfast. Coffee is good too. A distance away from the main street also makes it a good night's sleep, although we woke up by the prayer at 0430. Ear plugs are provided so no issues.

We booked 4 rooms, 2 rooms with Pool Access (which is on the first floor). Unfortunately, we got 2 rooms with Balcony (on the 2nd floor). When we asked, the receptionist says they have issues with the rooms which is why they gave us the rooms on the 2nd level. We were not informed beforehand, which is a pity. We specifically booked for rooms on the 1st floor because we just came from hiking Mount Rinjani and had sore muscles.

Best accomodation on Gilli T. I've been travelling Indonesia for 4 months and this was definitely the best affordable accommodation so far. Really clean, modern, lovely staff, provided a nice drink on arrival and water in the room etc. They thought of every little touch! I saw some other hotels online and went to view them before booking here, and they looked nothing like the photos. My friend also had some horror experiences in other hotels on Gilli T, so then checked into Mantra and she was so relieved to finally find somewhere nice. Thanks for an amazing stay ❤️

I had to leave early for my diving course and the hotel owner was kind enough to prepare a delicious breakfast for me in advance. We stayed here for three days and breakfast was not the same every day, every breakfast was delicious. The hotel's swimming pool is clean and comfortable, and I can practice my diving skills in the pool. Earplugs are kindly provided to prevent daily prayer music from interrupting. The rooms are clean, plenty of hot water, and the location is also convenient, 5 minutes walk from the Pier.

The place was super clean and everything seemed new. The welcome drink was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. So nice to be able to immediately relax after a long boat ride on a very hot day. The setup and decor of the place just makes you feel comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there. I read reviews from others about noise from the pool, the stairs, and from other rooms but I didnt experience that at all and my room was right next to the stairs near the pool. I guess it depends on who else is staying there at the time. About the prayers from the mosque, you are going to hear that wherever you are on the island, thats how it's meant to be.

We chose this place because of the raving reviews praising how clean it was. They didn't lie! It was a perfect choice. Comfortable, nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean! The bed was incredibly nice and all the amenities were in good condition. We were offered a delicious „welcome drink” (watermelon granita) and used their bike rental service - very convenient! The pool is rather small but still, it was great to cool off in it after a super hot day. Also, the breakfast was very nice (good selection of options). If you’re looking for an escape from the dirt and disorder of the island, it's a place for you!

I apsolutely loved my stay here I was here on my own and I felt so safe Staff were so helpful Breakfast I had the French toast and the nicest dragon fruit smoothie Very much enjoyed having a mosque nearby and actually thought the reviews about the mosque were very obnoxious since surely people travel to experience culture and this is culture I felt so so hot as came midday and was told room is ready even though I was a little early given an ice cold lovely water Melon drink room was so clean and ac was on and room was cool

I probably would not use the snorkelling trips they help you with and maybe check out a certified mor professional diving school but I did appreciate the help
