I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was impressed with the exceptional service and amenities. The room offered a stunning view, and the staff were consistently friendly and efficient in their response to my needs. The hotel's proximity to the Black Lava Camp, which offers dining and recreational options, is a significant advantage. Additionally, the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service to nearby cafes, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

No room service for lunch and dinner.

The location was gorgeous, the view was spectacular looking right at Mt Batur. The loft bedroom made the view even more beautiful. The size of the room was perfect, and we just laid on the couch admiring the view. Just down the road is a restaurant with a pool to enjoy your stay even more. The staff were so friendly! There was also cute little puppies that popped into visit which made the stay all the better.

The road down to the property is definitely not something anyone can tackle. Thankfully the staff organised a pick up point and drove us down. This is at no fault of the property and the location and views made up for it. We had a bit of an issue with the water, but the staff turned the pump back on and all was good.

Absolutely gorgeous mountain views! The lofted setup (bed upstairs, sofa and bathroom downstairs) made you feel like you had your own private retreat in the mountains. The hotel shuttle is 100% necessary - the road to the hotel is very, very, very uneven and difficult to navigate. Only an experienced driver in a 4WD vehicle could do it. I found it easy to arrange for dropoff/pickup over WhatsApp. It was also helpful to have the Black Lava Camp restaurant close by (3 minutes on foot).

Just something to keep in mind: it is quite isolated. While the views were gorgeous, I think it might have been a bit too secluded/remote for me as a solo traveler. Also, if you're going to hike Mt Batur, you'll have to work through their private guide. You'll be too far away from the meeting point for group tours to go with a group. Having a private guide turned out to be a good choice for me because I could go at my own pace, but it is more expensive than joining a group tour.

Amazing spot around Kintamani to stay and enjoy the view to the volcano, but also the countryside and village vibe. You have to be prepared, the road is under construction and its countryside. It means it’s not easy to get anywhere from there, but owners are helpful and always there to organise the transport. And it’s the charm of the place, to shut down and sit still, just you, your thoughts and beautiful view, and countryside noises. Nearby there is another hotel with restaurant, it means there is still place to eat something and enjoy the view even more. The place is stunning!

Great, stunning views of the mountains. A bit away from the main road which allows you to escape the busy atmosphere of Bali. It was a lovely place to unwind and relax. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. A guaranteed good night's rest.

It would've been great to have some shelves or a cupboard with hangers to store clothes (but a very minor detail). There's also no air conditioning or fan in the room, so it got quite warm in the afternoon - but it is cooler in Kintamani overall.

The rustic cabin style is perfect for staying at Kintamani - waking up to the view of Mt Batur was a magical experience! The staff was nice and friendly. It was a pleasant stay!

There were flies occasionally but it is common in the area anyways. The locks are also a bit tricky - you need to be more careful when opening and shutting the doors. The road leading to the accommodation is a bit bumpy and narrow - might be dangerous for some less-experienced driver. They offer shuttle service but we rented our own car so had to be extra cautious going in and out at night.

The cabin was adorable. The garden is beautiful. The property driver needs to drop/pick you up from the main road but they are very quick to respond and to arrange it is just a few minutes. This service is free of charge. There is a restaurant with nice pool and view at camp Black Lava, just next door. The bed was really comfortable and the linen were new and freshly washed.

Not much, our stay was lovely. The property was clean, but there is room for improvement. We already knew from the reviews that the walls are thin and that we would have hear other people talking in the cabin next to us. We easily sorted that out by bringing ear plugs.

The view is incredible, absolute loved it. The staff were so friendly and always available to help out. They helped organise a driver to take us out for the day, he was also really wonderful and had an excellent experience. We did the jeep tour to Mt Batur with a visit to the hot springs which was also organised through them and again wonderful experience, another lovely driver and took so many photos of us during the sunrise.

Not very soundproof when it comes to your neighbours, we could hear pretty clearly the couple in the villa next to ours as their bathroom is directly below the bedrooms. Not really that much of an issue, the positives really outweighed this.

The property located a bit lower from the main road of Kintamani. You need to take the shuttle arranged by the property since the road is uneven and steep. What I like about this property is the design … minimalist and spacious. The view is not bad..mount batur is right in front of you. The tempreture is 16 degree at nite…cool but comfort. It’s really quiet, calm and you can hear the nature’s sound. The breakfast provided is simple with local dishes such as fried rice and fruit juice. The property person in charge is very helpful.

The heater somehow seems not working well. We booked 2 units and luckily the other unit’s water heater is working.

The view is spectacular. A little remote, however, the staff pick you up from the top of the road and take you to the accomodation whenever you’d like. The staff are very responsive via. WhatsApp and provided us with tour options to see Mt. Batur - please use their local guide! They are wonderful.

Like most Bali accomodation, the walls are thin but this isn’t the staff’s fault. Next door, there were people playing loud EDM party music until 2am which wasn’t great as we had a 3:30am wake up to trek Mt. Batur. The staff tried their best to ask them to turn it down but they were still very disrespectful. Other than that, keep in mind that this is a remote location so do not expect to have 5 star luxury amenities - enjoy the serenity!
