this was our second stay at the hotel the last in 2018. it now has more rooms and updated appearance. we stayed as a result of cancelling our stay at the ju blu in Lovina due to poor conditions in room selected. the padmasari is well kept with a great waterfront location , excellent pool and is kept very clean. there is a on site free van shuttle to town which is not walkable. we upgraded our room by paying almost double which beside being on the ground floor and at the waters edge was not worth the price, same small room size, and uncomfortable furniture. the king bed is comfortable, great shower, air con is good, housekeeping very good, and with so few people in the hotel, it was quiet,.

the breakfast is very repetitious and was our last visit as well, Balinese coffe is dreadful, and the hawkers annoying from the beach landing at the waters edge. we were disappointed in paying for such a pointless room upgrade, with so few people money must be tight, an upgrade without cost should have been automatic. rooms are small, no storage for clothes, furniture hard and more decorative than practical

- location was perfect at the beach! - its fantastic to have view on sea and wake up with sound - people in front try to sell dolphin trips but remain very friendly. We got in touch and had best experience ever —> reach out to Agusman Jojo Dolphin - +62 813 37218471. He gave us so great service, friendly with kids, good equipment! - negative thing was the restaurant, although food was ok, waitress was not really friendly and it took one time more than 2 hours to get food. Even breakfast takes for ages…

Great location. Beautiful and relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, legion and seminyak. Definitely try out the dolphin watching. There is a free shuttle to the town. Rooms are kept clean with the staff cleaning everyday ( if you want some privacy be sure to let them know because they cleaned my room all the time despite not putting up the please clean my room sign on the door)

Staff although very friendly had minor communication issues mostly due to the language I suppose. They do not serve cocktails (sad, very sad lol) Some of the rooms don't have mini fridges but staff is happy to keep your goodies in their fridge. If you absolutely need one make sure you let them know before getting there There is a musty smell but it's really not anyone's fault , the hotel is facing the ocean so it's bound to have a unique scent that you quickly forget about as you enjoy your long deserved rest.

Hotel is very beautiful, full of great art pieces, very nice pool and relax area, good stuff, especially drivers 🙂 we enjoyed that hotel is located directly on the seaside, we enjoyed sunrise and sunset, also we could observe how sea comes high and low tide.

It looks like hotel is build from paper, we could hear all noises from other rooms. It was hardly bearable when they came around midnight and started washing, arguing and so on. Restaurant working times and lack of stuff in busy time. We needed to wait way too long for a food in the evening and morning rush hour. Also I would suggest not to offer European foods as it was not very successful interpretation of it.

Great hotel, staff were super friendly, they have a restaurant on site that servers some lovely food if you don't want to venture out. The hotel is a little out of the way from Lovina itself, however they have a free shuttle service to take you into town and pick you up again. Rooms were lovely and clean and great views of the sea from the balcony.

The only downside was you were right on the public beach and there were a lot of locals trying to sell trinkets or trips out to see the dolphins, so you'd quite regularly get asked if you wanted to buy something or take an excursion when you were sat by the pool or decided to take a walk along the beach.

The resort was lovely. As we arrived early our room wasn’t ready yet so the staff kindly kept our bags in the back room for us while we hired a bike and continued to explore lovina- the bike was a good price and was the nicest bike we have had while staying in Bali ( we travelled around Bali for a month). The room was lovely and cool and the TV came in handy in the evening ( we could log into our Netflix as it was a smart TV). The resort was on the beach front so the sunset was beautiful. We also had room service which was a nice touch. Our stay was relaxing- definitely would recommend.

The only thing we can comment on is the food- the food didn’t match the hotel standard. The breakfast which was included in our stay wasn’t very nice- my breakfast came out cold and the eggs Benedict my girlfriends got was over cooked- when it was sent back to be corrected- it was returned in a pool of water where the eggs clearly weren’t strained of water- making the other food on the plate soggy- which seemed careless. We also got pizza for lunch the next day, which wasn’t nice and was extremely overpriced for the food standard we received. I’m surprised a hotel so lovely didn’t have better food.

We booked this purely because you can book the dolphin tour with the hotel itself whereby they only charge IDR 100,000 per pax for the dolphin tour. There is a jetty there so you can just board there. There is no need for you to book a dolphin tour with other operator where you will have to go to the destined jetty. Saved time and effort

The toilet flush isnt really working. There are flies and house lizard in our room~ well, you are in Bali, enjoy whilst it last :)

The hotel is so clean and almost brand new! Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was bright and clean with hot water and a strong shower. The pool was fantastic, lots of deck chairs and 2 gazebos to lounge at while catching the sunset with unblocked views of the sea. Breakfast was delicious too. As a whole, it was a really comfortable stay!

Lots of local people by the brach trying to sell you sarongs, dolphin tour packages and offering massages, repeatedly each time they see you - that really ruined the whole calm and relaxing vibe of the pool area of the resort which was right by the beach. They even peeked into the balcony of our ground floor unit. The queen bed that was in the listing turned out to be a double bed so it was much smaller than expected.

We had a great stay at Padmasari resort. We loved the setting, with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and a roof terrace perfect for watching the sunset. Our room was comfortable, modern and clean, the only thing I could fault was the road noise that could be heard from our room. The beach front location was ideal for dolphin watching trips, and it was only a short walk or drive to Lovina town. The beach itself was unfortunately dirty, but the coral and sealife in the area was beautiful.

Nice sea view, really. Loved gazing at the lights of distant fishing boats during the night. Clean and new rooms. Good restaurant stuff, cooked fish, which I've just caught. And cooked it perfectly, just the way I wanted. Water was muddy at the beach(probably recent rain was the problem), but if you swim 50 meters further it becomes clean and there are amazing corals! Stunning! Quick response of staff over WhatsApp. Good transfer service to nearby town. Fishing trip organised was amazing (disregarding the boat comment in minuses). Really great activity and nice boat driver. Price to quality was perfect.

Rooms are small, but for me as solo traveller was no issue. Awful sculptures and art on the walls outside. Giraffe with double bass and panda with trombone, omg. Bali is usually so balanced and natural... For me it was pure vulgarity. Art consisted of a huge dolphin drawing. Didn't even want to take pictures. Some of the staff English was very poor, had difficulty communicating. Wanted to organise fishing trip on a certain type of boat (I was picky, yes). Sent a picture even. Boat was different,so I wasn't that happy.
