The communication with the staff was very good and the room was kept really clean. Even if I did not need the room cleaned itself, they would lay out new towels and water in front of the room (on the chair outside) for me to use. They send a cute little thank you note when I left, which I can really appreciate! Terima Kasih, sweet garden staff !

Its a very good place to stay when you are in Malang. One of the receptionists helped us with our tour to Bromo National Park since the guide did not show up on time and I did not quite understand him on the phone. Clean rooms and good atmosphere with the garden right in the middle of the hotel. There is a mall 20mins away, as well as many place where you can get food.

The sweet garden guest house is the perfect base for exploring the sights of Malang. It is close to lots of great restaurants whilst also being really quiet and comfortable. We were able to visit Mount Bromo and the waterfalls with ease and could return to a lovely, clean room to relax afterwards.

If the cafe was open and working it would’ve made our stay even better!

Fantastic stay. Everything was to a high standard, very clean, great decor, wonderful staff. There is a spa, pool and gym which were lovely. The rooftop bar and viewing terrace was particularly nice. Would 100% recommend. Incredible value for money.

Swimming pool was slightly too cold for us. Personal preference, would have preferred to be slightly warmer. Nothing else was wrong.

Our stay was great. Room was spacious and clean. Close to many restaurants. Plenty of hot water with shower separated from rest of the bathroom however, water did leak under door and pool right in front of toilet. Nothing to major and probably isn't like that in all rooms. Plenty of parking space with security. Would recommend.

The place feels secluded as our room was on level 1. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There was a long cushion bench outside of our room which I frequent.

Drain smell from the toilet wont go away. Our fridge was not working but staff did offer us to move room but we decided not to because we only have 1 day left to stay.

Very nice and clean hotel with modern rooms of a good size, with clean bathrooms. Staff very friendly and the location is quite walkable to restaurants and areas of interest in Malang. They also let you check in very early for percentage of your room price which was great as we arrived super early feom the train station but coule access the room straight away to sleep.

They were very persistent at coming to clean clean rooms, calling for housekeeping at 7am on one morning.

Very good hotel! Currently traveling around the world, it had been a long time since we stayed in such a comfortable hotel. The hotel and room are very clean. It’s very quiet, and we were able to rest well. There’s an excellent bakery right next to the hotel. The staff is lovely and very accommodating. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is in a privileged area. Every day the staff was concerned about our well-being. Super friendly. I will return to that hotel.

The room is clean, with very comfortable bedding and linen, and they provide GOOD QUALITY bed & linen, and they provide hairdryer. THAT'S exceptional. The deli & ramen house next door is worth to visit as well, adding some plus points regarding the location. They plan the room lighting well, nice chairs in front of each room, and good walking space around the fountain on 1st floor.

If any, the parking space is packed and not easy to move around your car here. The reception also refused to give extra card key, so it's kinda uncomfortable if you share room and one person wants to walk around while the others want to stay. The seating area is not frequently cleaned so if a pack of guests use the area and leave their messy food packaging, it will stay there for a looonngggg time; making the area unvisitable for the other guests. Maybe it just my bad luck; but the room above me keep dragging their furniture loudly that we can hear them moving around until midnight.
