Budi & his staff looked were so welcoming & friendly. And looked after all of us really well. We were a group of 17 celebrating a birthday. Great location just back from the beautiful Mushroom Beach. Very short walk to a good breakfast menu with magnificent views of the bay. Food was really good. We had various lunches & dinners. Food & drinks delivered to pool area was really appreciated. Restaurants nearby, gift shops, laundry and massages. Would recommend 100%. We will return. Thanks Budi & your team for making our stay just wonderful.

- From arrival to departure we were blessed by an exceptional welcoming family and staff. - the Villa’s and huts are in a secluded area with a nice spacious pool. - water refills are free - the beach and restaurant give you a real bounty feeling. you can hang out there all day, and if not, just take the 30meter walk to the (almost private) pool. - They were just reopening again, and every penny that comes in is used to catch up with maintenance. (but everything was really ok, the only thing I can think of are the open bathroom’s, they need some freshing up) - the brothers of the family all try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. arrangements for buggy, scooter and snorkeling were easily made on site. -My 9yo son got his first spearfishing experiences with one of them (Budi), while my wife and I were served nice food and chats with another (Meda). On my son’s return, the catched fish was immediately prepared for him! - we saw Manta’s with Budi! -to enjoy island life and explore Lembongan you simply do not need a better place. We will definitely come back!

Visitors must know that the villa’s and huts are next to a Hindu temple. On specific date’s there some early ceremonial singing. This is a plus! we were invited to join the ceremony, an exceptional experience.

Lovely little resort just a short stroll from the best beach on the Island at Mushroom Bay. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely big pool and well maintained gardens. Breakfast was at their beachfront restaurant just a few steps away from the main resort and was very nice. You can also order drinks and food to be brought to the resort from this restaurant. The staff were super friendly and helpful with a couple of little issues we had with the room. I would definitely stay here again for the great location and value for money.

We stayed in a Deluxe Hut and the bathrooms are definitely in need of renovating. The taps and shower head were so clogged with slime and calcium hardly any water came out. The toilet moved every time you sat on it. Whilst everything is mostly great about this resort there are a few little maintenance issues that need doing before guests feel they need to complain.

Thankyou Budi, Topan and Wayan for a fabulous stay at Sanghyang Villas. This gorgeous, small resort at Mushroom Beach on the island of Nusa Lembongan to the east of Bali, is reached by a 30-minute speedboat from Sanur. Budi, the Manager, kindly allocated me the detached bungalow I had requested by text in Messages on the booking.com site. It nestled in a central position round the large, very blue, swimming pool. The Sanghyang beach bar and restaurant has lovely views over a turquoise ocean. This is where the speedboats arrive and depart. They pull right up onto the beach. The marine traffic does not detract from the beauty of the place and creates a buzz of interest. When I arrived Wayan hoisted my huge, heavy suitcase onto one shoulder as if it was merely a ladies’ handbag and carried it across the sand to the hotel. My bungalow was beautifully appointed. It had a huge terrace to the front and a large openair bathroom to the rear. At Sanghyang you feel very close to nature. The birds and birdsong is delightful. I had made a couple of friends whilst waiting for the boat from Sanur and another solo traveller hooked up with us at the restaurant. All three of them had not prebooked anywhere and they were so impressed with Sanghyang Villas that they immediately checked in and we all had adjoining rooms! They were lucky as this place is very popular and heavily booked. This hotel with its large sea-facing restaurant is a great hub for meeting fellow travellers. We four called ourselves “The Sang Gang” and had such a great time we have kept in touch ever since.

Arriving at the Villas you come to a very unassuming entry way, once through it opens I to a beautiful small complex surrounding a central pool. The staff were friendly and assisted whenever there was a problem. Free filtered water was a nice touch.

The amenities could do with some upkeep. While the outdoor bathrooms were a nice touch, the water pressure in our villas was an issue, along with leaking sink. There are no restaurant or bar facilities on site, you are required to go 1min walk down the road to the restaurant.

The loveliest friendliest and helpful staff. Let us rent a scooter for only 70k a day and gave us a lift to the port. Pool and garden area is beautiful. We were in room 11 which is one of the round huts, we had a cute little pond outside with fish and a tortoise. Bed is comfy, big 4 poster bed with mosquito net, lots of pillows. Tea/coffee/water provided and fridge/safe. Bathroom is a bit dated/stained but did the job, VERY powerful shower which was great. Room is a bit dark but I think the concrete huts would be brighter. About 1 min walk from mushroom bay, good location. Overall a lovely hotel and staff are so kind. Not much to improve except be mindful of bugs/animals coming into the round huts due to the slat windows not closing properly!

Only downside is the round huts have open slat windows so we had lizards, spiders and mosquitoes coming in! Wish we booked one of the concrete huts so be mindful of this.

We loved the lovely garden and the pool area. It was great for our toddler to play and walk around. Also the staff was great! They were super friendly, helped out with everything and everybody were so lovely with the kid! We were even allowed to use their little kitchen to prepare our kid‘s food! The bungalow we stayed in was quite old, but still fine. Right on the opposite is a great coffee bar called mushroom espresso! It’s so good to have your coffee there! You very close to dive schools, many restaurants and little shops and the beach is just around the corner too! We would definitely come back!

The only thing you might need to know was that the accommodation is right next to the „main“ road where traffic with scooters is quite busy! That’s why our toddler had it harder to fall asleep or would wake up earlier. But it was fine for us, because everything else was perfect! We did t have the breakfast at their restaurant, so we can’t tell about that. Maybe choose the „better“ bungalow if you want it really nice!

From booking to checking out the team were incredible. Communication was above and beyond and the ease of being able to book a ferry through Budi meant it was one less thing we had to arrange while juggling luggage and our two kids (4yrs and 2yrs). Greeted on the beach off the ferry and shown to the best family villa with connecting door. Fantastic balcony that we could relax and have a drink on when the kids were asleep. Rooms were really well kept. Taking notice of the small things like tucking in the kids toys so it looked like they were sleeping. Our little boy got quite sick with an ear infection and the team dropped everything to take us to the medical centre (and waited or came back when we were done). Pool has great multiple levels for kids of all ages and they even provided us with a couple of blow up vests for the boys to use while they were there. EXCEPTIONAL family run business!

Breakfast was limited so after a week it got a little restricting however they were always super happy to adjust anything as requested. There is a temple in front of the accomodation which was active for a few hours for a few days but also great to be involved and told about the traditions etc.

Beautiful little boutique hotel steps from mushroom bay. We stayed in the grass roof bungalow which was spacious. The air con struggled a bit due to the very high ceilings and large room. Outdoors bathroom was down a couple of steps and tiles could be a bit slippery but we were ok with that. Nice roomy verandah with table and chairs and a beanbag. Nice pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. Didn’t eat breakfast. Wayan the manager was a lovely down to earth guy very genuine. Wayan arranged scooter and boat tickets for us also. Thanks Wayan…This is a nice quiet place and great for families. Also the 2 straw bungalows had smart tvs and was great to watch Netflix in the evenings

Could do with a hand towel in the bathroom and maybe a non slip mat. Could be a bit noisy with the alley behind but didn’t bother us
