The breakfast was not excellent. The western dishes are not exactly what we are used to. The first day was a la carte and the next was buffete style which was much better

This property is wonderful.... The staff is amazing and makes your stay incredible! One of them took me on a tour to a local village and it was so interesting!!!

The exceptional localization of the hotel between many hills: it is magic place to stay. We appreciated the variety of possible activities. The niceness of staff and the dedicated involvement of Jonathan the manager: chatting with the guests, taking pictures, giving advice. We booked the campervan dinner which as a magical time and we also visited the sunset hill of the hotel. We had a pleasant afternoon with the cooking and jam lessons chatting with the staff after Bromo tour in the morning.

A recommendation for cooking class and jam class maybe ask more from guests: that they really prepare their own sauce and cut their vegetables so that they are a little more involved. It does not change the fact that we really loved cooking with the assistant chef and with the head of pastries.

Beautiful hotel, comfy beds, very quiet and relaxing environment

Beyond the looks of the hotel itself, the rest is not up to expectations given the price. Staff in the restaurant barely speaks english, and was either coughing or smelled like sweat. Food arrives way before the drinks, for each person at different timing, and is of quite average quality in Java. It was also freezing in the restaurant, with all doors open while people were wearing their winter jackets. All 4 of us also doubted about the drink water quality, and got sick in the afternoon. Last, the taxi booked by the hotel was poor, with the driver not understanding English and almost falling asleep behind the wheel.

The weather and the vibe there are great. The staff and the services are also very good. We are so welcomed there and feel comfortable. Wish could come back again next time

Some flies are around us when we have breakfast or tea time. But on the hand, I know that The staff has anticipated this by covering the food and fruits using serving hoods.

High recommended for almost all aspects! Environment with ambience, friendly and helpful staff, plenty food choices with above average quality, excellent service …. Extremely like the greeneries all around the hotels! Every plant likes smiling and so vivid!

Stay at Plataran Bromo feel like we life on the clouds. It was so good for revealed stress. Clearly, it so refresh since the air quality was so good, the ambience of the mountain and also the place was peaceful. I really like the small garden, that looks like garden by the bay on Singapore but it was in the small version.

Since the building mostly made from wood, it became a little problem because the room has not soundproof, especially in the middle on the night when everyone was in rush to driving a jeep to catch up the sunrise

Their service is at the top, every staff was so nice, food was great, the breath-taking views. They met (even exceeded) all the expectations that I was looking for a family trip. It did take some efforts to get in there as it's located in the mountains, but it was worth everything.

The room was situated in a villa up a hill with quite a number of steps leading up to it and may not be suitable for older people. It was also situated on the third storey of that villa, again being unsuitable for older people.

No 24hrs in room dining service, as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, its hard to find alternative foods when we arrive late. Our access card was unable to be used at 11am, while the checkout time is at 12pm.
