My wife and and our son (two rooms) stayed at Manzelejepun for two nights in early January. It was our first time to Bali and it was a wonderful introduction for us. From the pick up from the airport in the middle of the night, to our lovely goodbye, it was perfect. Manzelejepun is about an hour from the airport, maybe a little less depending on traffic. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and the busier parts of Denpasar. I wanted something quiet and restful, and that's exactly what got. Once you're inside the gate, you feel far away from everything else. I also wanted something small and intimate. Again, Manzelejepun fit the bill perfectly. I believe that there are only seven rooms. We occupied two of them. Manzelejepun's gardens are very beautiful - meticulously kept, with a koi fishpond, gazebo etc. The restaurant is good. We had two breakfasts there and one evening meal. Portions were filling and the food was delicious. Our room was great. The aircon did the job quietly. We had a "outdoor" shower (walled off) and a spa sized bathtub. The bed was firm, but comfortable. It was intricately decorated in Balanese style. There was a TV, which we didn't use. We swam in the pool twice. Again, very nice. A few nice, unique touches - the "music room," complete with two classical guitars and a Yamaha piano. Also, all the photos and curios decorating the property. We had fun wandering around and exploring. My wife and I walked to the beach (about 15 minutes). It wasn't a great beach, but the walk was nice. The main road is a 7 or 8 minute walk away, too. One of the best things about Manzelejepun - Dewy and the other extremely friendly and helpful staff members. Just lovely. Such beautiful people. And the negative - our only disappointment is that we only spent one day (two nights) at Manzelejepun. We'll stay longer next time!

Delicious breakfast- three options each day Beautiful garden and very helpful staff We had room 2 and it was on the third story with a very nice outdoor area The villas are not in a very touristy area so I I loved being able to walk to the beach and not see other tourists. You get to see more authentic Balinese life Amazing massages available (I had two over 5 days) Easy to get Gojek to and from to get into Sanur main The property is a 10-20 Gojek from main Sanur (which was not an issue for me). Otherwise you can walk along the beach (crossing the river on the beach first) and get to Sanur port in 45 minutes Mr Dedy, the driver, was wonderful for airport pickup

Everything!! I had a lovely stay, just what I needed. The place is so sereen and peaceful and just beautiful. The owners Patrick and Dewi are the sweetest people and really created an oasis with such good energy. It feels like home. Their staff are super sweet and wonderful. The food is delicious. I am a vegan and they were able to have vegan meals for me. I do yoga and they have the most lovely yoga shala where I was able to do my yoga practice every morning. The room is comfortable. They have a lovely gym. I will def come back!

Nothing. I loved everything about it. You do need a scooter to get to places, it’s located in an residential area. I used Gojek which works great!

Staying here is like owning your own luxury villa with incredible staff here in Bali. Once you enter the gates you feel at home. The staff greets you warmly not in some big hotel trained way but with genuine happiness to see you and welcoming arms as if they are welcoming you home. The property is designed for comfort and peaceful relaxation. The best thing about this property is that you don't have to share it with hundreds of other guests. Priced reasonably you get an incredible value for your money. There are places to relax and read. A beautiful pool, and gardens that really reflex the beauty and culture of the island. A nicely equipped gym, game room with pool table. foosball and other games. The dining room is intimate but the real delight is the food. It is incredible. The hosts Patrick and Dewi are two of the nicest people I have ever met in all my travels (137+ countries) . They can help guide you to the best beaches, best restaurants, great walking paths, swimming spots, bike paths, diving spots, and island getaways. I always stay here when I come and I have never been disappointed in any way.

Not a single thing

There is an absolutely stunning, lush garden surrounding the rooms. It is really beautiful, especially the pond with fish that we were allowed to feed by one of the staff members! There was also a spot where you can play some games like pool, ping pong and table football. We used it a few times and had lots of fun. There is nicely lit pool with some amazing decorations. We liked it very much. Breakfasts were good, three different options to choose from, they were tasty. Rooms were clean although kinda dark but it wasn’t really a big concern. The toilet and shower were in separate spaces. The whole object was really nice, staff was helpful and did a great job. They answered every question that we had. There is also a gym, it is small but you can do a full workout if you need to!

Overall the whole object was clean we saw a rat once! It was near the pool area, hiding behind the flowerpot and ran into the bushes under the sun beds. The location was quite isolated but we knew it beforehand. Getting to the main road requires going through a small street where stray dogs are running. It was also quite far away from main places in Sanur.

Lovely room and garden, they had a really nice yoga studio and gym! The people working there were supernice. The location is a bit off, so we had to use grav every time we godt out of the hotel, as walking wasnt a possibility due to traffic

Enveloped in serene beauty, this resort boasts an exceptional staff, exuding warmth and friendliness at every turn. The shimmering pool offers a refreshing oasis, complemented by one of the most delightful breakfast spreads I've ever encountered. The room is impeccably clean, with the added bonus of personalized service, simply request a refresh, and it's promptly taken care of. A small suggestion: perhaps refreshing the towels during room cleaning would further enhance the experience. Aside from this minor detail, there's nothing else to remark upon. Grateful for the impeccable service, thank you!

The location may not be optimal, a quick ride on a scooter for just 15 minutes will have you at the center in no time.

The place is surrounded by a beautiful green garden, which creates a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

The bathroom was a little small and the water pressure was very low, which was a bit inconvenient, but it was clean and functional. Getting the TV on was a bit of a challenge. However, I didn't reach out for support. I am sure that the staff would have been helpful if I had asked for assistance. I would have loved to get a mani-pedi, but their collaborator was already fully booked.

My stay at Menzelejepun Villa was unforgettable. The villa's blend of Balinese charm and modern comfort, along with its private pool and thoughtful touches, made it feel like a luxurious home. The warm, attentive staff ensured everything was perfect. Its peaceful location, yet close proximity to Ubud, made it the ideal retreat after exploring and then coming home to unwind. I highly recommend Menzelejepun for a relaxing and personal escape.

The room smells heavily of moth balls

Manzelepeun was magical! The staff is exceptional. It is a boutique style resort. The resort grounds and garden make you feel so peaceful and serene. Management (Devi and Patrick) handled an embarrassing situation (and potentially a lot of work for them) with such kindness and care. My husband got Bali Belly before arriving and had a bit of a wopsie! We all ended up having a big laugh about it. The in-house food was well priced and delicious. Manzelelpeun is a bit off the beaten track, but that turned out to be a blessing because we deeply relaxed and wanted for nothing. The massage at the resort was well priced as well. Whatever we needed was there. There is no need to go out into the stressful traffic. We enjoyed five days of bliss! We will be back! Thank you for a memorable stay.
