We enjoyed our stay in Manta Dive! We had very nice room, far from the main street so it was pretty quiet so we got very good sleep. Bed was very comfy. Also need to mention they had absolutely amazing shampoo and conditioner! Which is not very usual. Wifi and ac worked very good. We were able to rent a bikes there as well as arrange some turtle snorkeling. Even with some complications, everybody was very helpful and friendly. Reception staff was very nice and helpful, same as most of the staff around. Pool was nice. Clean and good size. Pool towels provided. Breakfasts were ok, need to highlight traditional Mie Goreng - that was very tasty!

Only thing i would mention here was breakfast staff group. I just wanna think they had maybe few not good days, but seemed kind of annoyed and not happy to be there and take orders.. and thats not what you wanna experience during your vacay. Also maybe French toasts could use a bit of love and for example add some strawberries, just to make it a bit better.

We stayed in a traditional bungalow with a super comfortable double bed, spotless interiors, and a beautifully designed outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, with gluten-free options, lactose-free milk, and a spread of delicious fresh fruits and juices. The location was fantastic—step outside, and you're right in the heart of the clubbing scene, yet the bungalow's position at the far end of the property kept it quiet and peaceful. It was absolutely perfect. Don’t miss renting a bike—it’s a great way to explore the island. We loved trying the small, local food stalls, which served incredibly tasty dishes. In the evening, we dined at the night market, where everything was fresh, flavorful, and very affordable. Whether you’re a vegetarian or a seafood lover, there’s plenty to enjoy, from freshly grilled lobsters and shrimp to an abundance of vibrant vegetables to satisfy vegetarians.

Staying at Manta Dive Resort was an amazing experience. The resort is very well located, and for anyone arriving at the port, it’s just a short walk to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and the resort operates a dive center where we had the chance to dive with instructors Mike and Kimmy. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring our first dive was done with the utmost safety and care. Another great highlight is the pool, which was perfect for relaxing. During this part of the trip, I was working remotely on Brazilian time, which is 11 hours behind Indonesia. I had to work in the café area, and the internet was excellent. I was able to hold all of my meetings, and they kindly allowed me to use that space throughout the night. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and treated us so well. Despite being located in the heart of an area full of bars and restaurants, we slept soundly every night with no disturbance. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend Manta Dive Resort!

I spent a week at this resort and couldn't have asked for better. 💙 The staff (especially Edy, Jol and hendra) was always very kind and available for support. The food was excellent; in fact, I almost always ate at Manta Dive Resort. The room was very large and clean. The rooms also have a small balcony overlooking the pool, which is very convenient. The location was perfect: close to the port and various shops for tours or restaurants, but at the same time very quiet. Despite being on the main road, there was no noise inside the resort. The services were very good. Bicycle rental: the quality of the bicycles was better than those offered by various shops and the prices were the same. Scuba diving: a unique experience. I took the open water course with instructor Gede. In short: it was an unforgettable experience. I recommend everyone to try at least one day with the resort's instructors. After the trial day, I decided to take the course because it was amazing.

Something that could be improved (even though it's already good) is the breakfast: a more varied menu would be better.

The room is very beautiful also the half open bathroom. Also the outdoor area is very nice and you can directly rent a bike a you can get your Laundry handled. The location is very good for starting for diving/snorkeling trips and also arriving on the island. But the location also hast its disadvantages: it is SUPER LOUD.

I stayed three nights. one night the party was right in front of the hotel which woke me up till 3 am. The other nights there were also parties but a little further away but still very loud. So even if the bed was really comfy, I didn't have a good night sleep. No hair dryer

Will be nice to provide some room service facilities

When I arrived it was a warm welcome by the staff on check in desk, very helpful and willing to go that extra mile. I checked in at 10:45 and had a snorkelling trip booked in at 11 which was just out the front of the hotel. Luckily I made it and my room was ready as I arrived before check in time. They were more than happy to look after my luggage as o had emailed them day before and they responded quickly. The bungalow was amazing & had everything you need, a plug for all points, a shampoo, conditions and shower gel. So many towels and the rooms were air coned. I loved it and was truly Bali experience. The poll is nice and sunbeds but not much sun and it’s quieter a small and cute complex. I wouldn’t spend a whole day there. Fell in love with the bathroom area it’s stunning!

In the morning I ordered some breakfast and unfortunately I didn’t like it and I asked if I could swap it and I just got looked at. However, they did change it and was really impressed.

This hotel is perfectly situated a short walk from the main pier, but the best part of this hotel is the amazing people at Manta Dive Shop. They take safety seriously, and dive masters are attentive and keep the group sizes small. The rooms are large, with a private outdoor shower, AC and TV’s. I suggest you read through the information package in the room as any questions you may have are likely already answered there. The breakfast is high quality with selections of juice, fruit, chia seed with fruit compote, & choice of eggs w/ bacon or Indonesian rice/noodles. To top it off it also includes a choice of coffee, cappuccino, or Latte all made just like you would find made by a high priced barista in Italy (what’s not to ♥️?)

Best location you can have in Gili Trawangan, right next to the harbour. The staff is friendly and the pool and rooms are pretty nice. The dive courses you can do at the hotel are a must do if your interested in diving.

When you come to Gili Trawangan you have to be aware that the island only offers transport using a bicycle or horse taxi, the horses seem to be suffering and it is something we absolutely disliked. If you come here, just rent a bicycle at Manta Dive. Every thing is very close.

The hotel is short walking distance from the boat arrival point. It has a great pool, our room was right next to it, so it was ideal. They offer a range of diving opportunities, my husband went to dive twice with them and said it was one of the most comfortable dives he ever done as the instructors take care of everything and you're literally few meters from the beach. Everyone was very helpful, we rented bikes directly at the hotel as well. The food was very tasty, nice breakfast, and also it has many nice restaurants and bars all around. Would totally repeat our stay here!
