During my recent business trip to Indonesia, I stayed at Episode Gading Serpong, and overall, it was a remarkable experience. The facilities were top-notch, the food was delightful, and the cleanliness standards were commendable. However, I did encounter a peculiar incident with the staff that slightly affected my rating. While on a telephone call, one staff member mentioned offering me a free soda. Expecting this gesture, I patiently waited, only to be informed by another staff member that such complimentary items were not provided to guests. It was quite perplexing. Upon clarification with the staff who initially offered the soda, it turned out to be a misunderstanding; he meant to say "free soldier" instead. This miscommunication was indeed unexpected and left me bemused. Nevertheless, despite this odd occurrence, the rest of my stay was exceptional. The attentive service and overall professionalism of the staff were commendable. Despite the hiccup, Episode Gading Serpong exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and hospitality. I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a pleasant stay in Indonesia. My overall rating stands at a solid 9 out of 10.

breakfast was a good spread.

Room telephone was spoilt. The ordering F&B card with their QR code scan to order F&B was not clear. (It only shows a fine print) AND it shows a room with a bed photo. (It was misunderstood as a survey qtn scan code and not a F&B scan code if we didn't read the fine print.) It will be good for their marketing department to replace a FOOD photo so as not to waste time trying to find where to order F&B for room service again.

The food was great. They have different varieties of foods.

The lift took so long to get up and down. They need to upgrade their lifts, because they have a lot of guess which is nice. And then the room where we stay 1704, the telephone always beeping every after 30 seconds day & night. It's disturbing especially at night when we're sleeping.

When holidays are perfect and everything goes as planned there is no need to benchmark a team. When things go bad, that's where you can see if people rise or fall to the task. We had an urgent problem with our visa and Immigration which was closed for the weekend. After a few calls, persistency and out of the box thinking Carla (front desk) managed to get this issue done! This was above service level and very humane and then some! I am talking 5 star breakfast, best welcome ever 😉, great rooms and view ( a bit small if you take basic) Clean and fantastic shower pressure. 5 stars for Episode, Carla and team!

Extra level beds at the pool above the beds who were already there. I think it can be done.

Nicely designed rooms. Huge breakfast if you're into local foods. A bit thin on western options. Very good restaurant on ground floor with super friendly staff.

During our trip we've encountered a few hotels where staff either called or knocked around 8 in the morning to ask if we wanted anything during the day. Including at this hotel. No clue what the point is. We're all grown-ups and know how to operate the phone or ask at reception in case we need anything. Best to tell them upfront if you don't want to be woken up in the morning.

Episode Gading Serpong hotel exceeded my expectations, with a decent price, it came with a great breakfast with different kind of selection of foods and most of the their foods taste quite good too. The hotel looks pretty new and the facilities are all well maintained and clean. The hotel room is clean and the bed is comfy. Also, the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. There are also KFC and Pizza Hut located just opposite the hotel, if you need a fast meal can easily access the restaurant. Definitely will choose to come back and stay in this hotel again if I were to access to the areas nearby in my future trip. Recommended!

The downside of the hotel is their bathroom, the shower area is pretty small and the curb is not high enough separating the shower area and the WC area, and hence when you shower the water will easily flow out to the WC area resulting the whole bathroom floor wet. Also, the soundproof of the hotel room is not too good, the vehicle motor sounds and loud music from the streets can be hear at night. On the other hand, the hotel building have total 4 passenger lifts to their hotel room levels, it took quite a long time to wait for the lift during their peak hours (eg. breakfast time, check out time, evening time). Overall, the above-mentioned three points are not too big deal for me, so still okay.

We stayed at their Family Room. Although our room have very small window compare to the room, the room itself is great! complete amenities, even it has tea set & coffee machine. Bathroom has mini tub, enough for relaxing body in warm water. The restaurant's space is about right, many variety of foods from Indonesian to western menu.

Actually I booked Junior Suites room (non smoking, in higher floor), but we got the room in smoking floor. Unfortunately when I complained to the staff all the Junior Suites were full. Gladly their responded by free upgrading my room to Family Room. It is better if they inform us during the check-in, not after we arrived at designated floor then realize that it is smoking floor. There's always reason why we booked non-smoking room (at non-smoking floor of course :) ). Pools area not quiet big for many guesses, especially kids pool..

We first stayed here 3 weeks ago when we attended a family wedding in the ballroom, and had an exceptional time. The hotel was booked at that time through the wedding party. On leaving we asked to leave a suitcase and the concierge (Christian) was happy to oblige as we were going travelling and would be returning in 12 days. The hotel is new and the fixtures and fitting are great and staff first class. Room comfortable and clean. The staff especially Christian are great. On returning made very welcome with left suitcase ready to collect.

As I said the room was great the only problem was that the hotel is located on a very busy road junction and as our room on both occasions overlooked this road junction and with the floor to ceiling windows the noise level was very high until about 2 o’clock in the morning. Small cold swimming pool with only a couple of recliners, but with a good view

Breakfast was a nice variety of Asisn and Western choices. The staff was extremely friendly and professional.

We were family of 5 traveling together. Even though we were on the same floor.. had a few rooms in between us, which made it tough to hang out together.
