This place is a real hidden gem in the heart of Ubud in the middle of the street art market. We arrived late at night and thought the driver got the wrong address - (the market is covered with black covers at night and looks a little sketchy) but after we found the door for the place we entered in a magical movie set. The garden is extremely beautiful and nicely decorated. There are flowers, birds, fish, fountains, statues, temple of course and a small pool. In the day the street turns into a busy market, where you can find a variety of souveniers and buy gifts. Hosts are very polite and positive which make your stay even better. The breakfast was nice, nothing special, but different every day and served with love. It was so nice having it while hearing birds chirping and enjoying the nice garden. The location is top notch! You go out and are right in the middle of the art market and next to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and and sightseeing places(Saraswati temple and Ubud Palace). Take a coffee in the morning in the Jolted coffeeshop. 10 min away you can find a wonderful walk in the rice fields - Sweet Orange Walk Trail. We had a room with air conditioner and it was nice and cozy. If you rent a scooter - just across the street - you have no problem taking it into the place and leave in front of the villa, which was very convenient.

Great place with amazing value for money. The swimming pool is lovely and the room was very clean and made everyday. The people who runs the place are super sweet! The location is perfect! The banana pancakes were the most amazing we ever had!!

It can be a bit noisy sometimes and since the walls are really thin, if a kid is near your room or if people are talking late at night it seems like everybody is literally in your room with you. There are also the noises of nature (but that’s quite nice, except for the rooster who’s in a cage and starts singing at 6am) with frogs, birds. Take some earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

We loved our stay there! I was really surprised to read the recent negative reviews below- I think some people either got very unlucky, or had unrealistic expectations of the place. This homestay is located right in the centre of Ubud, yet it's super quiet. The room itself is as described, nothing super fancy but it was neat and clean. The breakfast is provided as well, and it changes every day which is great :)

The walls/ ceiling are starting to get a bit mouldy in some places, but this seems to be a very common problem in Ubud. I agree with previous comments re pillows, too- it's probably about time to change them.

This lovely homestay is located in the heart of the Ubud. The location is just perfect, it’s on the street with little markets, super close to all the warungs, bars and shops. But still, the place is very calm and you don’t hear any noise! When you entre, you’ll find yourself in a beautiful green little jungle.🌴🌿The atmosphere of the whole place is very calming and has something special. Nyoman, the owner is a very nice guy, who does everyday a yummy breakfast for you. Everyday is something different, which I liked and everytime with a delicious fresh fruit and option of a coffee/tea. One day I did a hike to Mt Batur, so I asked for a late breakfast and Nyoman did it for me 😊 The room was very pretty and clean, AC worked fine. There is also a nice swimming pool, so you can dip in to cool yourself. I had an amazing time, I'll come back here again when I'm in Bali next time!

The mattress was too hard for me and the water stream from the shower wasn’t really strong. But these were just a little things.

Electric and water cut out once during our stay

-on a side street in Ubud off the main road made it a quiet place to sleep -within walking distance of temples, museums, and restaurants -breakfast each morning was different- lots of variety if you’re staying for a week like we did! -hot water in the mornings and evenings delivered to your patio so you can make coffee or tea -calm, relaxing pool area -our room had a nice balcony overlooking the forest area behind the homestay which we enjoyed -homestay helped us organize motorbike rental so we could visit the rice fields and waterfalls

Minor inconveniences: -WiFi was slow at times -water pressure a bit weak -no hanger or rack in bathroom to hang up your towel (we used the spacious wardrobe in the bedroom)

Gorgeous place, lovely rooms with a great pool in a little garden Oasis. The best part, it’s in the heart of Ubud. All great bars and resturaunts are walking distance but you would know it once you’re in the front door. Kama the housekeeper was especially lovely, a very friendly face to see delivering breakfast every morning. I’ll be back!

It was one of the best places I stayed in Bali! Amazing location, you can easily walk everywhere in the center, the main attractions are 3 minutes away. The room is nice, you feel like staying in a temple. The vibes also amazing. There is a nice pool as well. The staff is very helpful, the owner and his wife are really friendly, the guy who helps them, he is also nice. I will be back for sure! Thanks!

We really loved our 7 days spent here. It is located in the centre of ubud, yet felt so peaceful and in the middle of the jungle at the same time. We spent most of our time at the pool and as it only has a few rooms, we always had it private which was great!

The breakfast wasn't our favourite and there were no options to choose from, we prefer to have a choice so we often skipped it - not a problem for us though, we appreciated the offer! Additionally, I really did not like seeing all of the beautiful birds in such tiny cages. Their owner clearly loves them and tries his best to take care of them but they are clearly unhappy and frustrated. They would be a lot happier in the wild, or at the very least in a large aviary where they have space to fly and interact with others.

We stayed here for one full month, and we loved it! The location is perfect, right by everything! The pool was nice, and bed was very comfortable, we had an issue with the tap leaking onto the side, and literally within 5 minutes of mentioning this, they replaced it and we had no more issues. The hosts are all lovely, thank you for our stay.

The only things to note is that the bathroom smelt quite damp, this could’ve been due to the leaking tap. Overall, for the money you pay this place is great! Definitely recommend.
