From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the staff and given a delicious welcome drink while we checked in. Our luggage was taken to our room for us as our room was located on the lower ground floor a short walk from reception. Our room could only be described as WOW! There are some "high end" hotel chains that do not even compare to it.. the bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully presented and was well stocked with essentials like shampoo and conditioner, along with little extras like a vanity kit which was replenished every day where needed. A nice extra touch was that the TV can stream Netflix/Prime which made it feel even more homely when chilling out after dinner with a film. The resort included breakfast every morning which could not be faulted, as you are presented with a fresh platter of fruit and a basket of baked goods, as well as getting to choose an additional breakfast item which is freshly made for you. Similarly, although not included on our stay, the lunch and dinner menu was just as appealing, and the portions were huge given the very reasonable prices. Weda Cita was a fantastic base for exploring Ubud, and we hope to come back in the future, and will be highly recommending the resort to anyone who comes to Bali in the future.

The only part of the entire resort that we found to be a slight negative was that the pool, although beautiful, was under the shade of the trees all day, and as a result was really cold given the tropical temperatures outside. This would not be a problem if someone wanted to swim lengths of the pool, but not so much for guests wanting to take a casual dip.

We loved the setting of the pool, very relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and very spacious. The second room we were given on the top floor was fantastic! Good breakfast, you have about 5 or 6 options to choose from. The staff were very friendly and nice; and the massage was worth it

We had a problem with the room the first night because of a strong smell of damp and some ants. But they changed us to another room without any problem!

The distance to "Ubud city" was perfect. It's best if you can ride a scooter, like everywhere in Bali - you have easier access to different restaurants, activities, ... The room was very nice, the room was always clean and the aircondition worked perfectly. There was free water in the lobby and restaurant. We did not eat at the hotel and did no tours organized by the hotel - so we can not rate that. We would definitely recommend doing the tour to batur while staying in Ubud - we think it's not worth taking a hotel for one night there. We booked that with Airbnb.

The breakfast was not good compared to what you could get for 70-100k somewhere else. I personally didn't like the yoga - a modern vinyasa yoga would have been nice - I did great classes in Bali before and I was disappointed.

The setting, encompassing the surroundings, is stunning. The hotel, though of good quality with qualitative details, is somewhat inadequately maintained. The staff, notably friendly and kind, enhances the overall quality. The breakfast, while simple and not very diverse, is tasty. Ultimately, considering the quality-to-price ratio, it's worth the stay.

The linens and outdoor furniture near the pool and balcony could be cleaner. Improved attention to these details would elevate the hotel significantly.

Great location off the main road, less than 10 minutes walk to a range of really good restaurants/shops, and 15 minutes to the start of the monkey forest. Suite was very comfortable, though the open bathroom might put some travellers off! The service for the rooms/the pool/reception was fantastic.

The pool area was quite grubby, in particular the umbrellas and the sunbed cushions. The pool itself could probably have done with a scrub too! The service in the restaurant was not great, often waiting long times for a waiter to come to us, even when we were the only ones in there. The food was also not at the level the rest of Bali is (and particularly the other local restaurants), so I’d suggest not planning any meals in the hotel - it’s cheaper and better to walk the 10 mins up the road.

We truly appreciated how comfortable the bed was; it made our stay feel so relaxing. Everything met our expectations, which was a relief. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we were touched by how friendly and charming everyone was. The massages at the spa were a highlight for us; it felt wonderful to be pampered. 💕

It seems like there’s a strong camphor smell in the room, likely trying to tackle the humidity, combined with a potent air freshener. Unfortunately, the mix of those scents isn't very pleasant. It must be quite uncomfortable to be in that environment.

It was an amazing location. Only 2,5km from city center, only 20 walk to monkey forest and ubud market. We recommend taking taxi via Grab app, because walking could be dangerous as in ubud there is no sidewalks. Only 3 dollars per trip to ubud center. The resort facilities are 5 stars. Enormous room, with a lot of amenities, excellent services including breakfast in the room. Lots of variety at breakfast including fruits, drinks, a la cart menus, natural juice and coffee. The spa treatments led by Mary are super. I recommend body massage and scrub with coffee and deep tissue massage. The pool is amazing, giving you the chance to relax before or after a day full of activities in ubud.

We loved the room, the hotel facilities and staff! The Spa was really divine. The pool is not very large but very charming and enjoyable as the hotel is very cosy welcoming few guests only.

-We rented a scooter (very easy and affordable) because the hotel was not in the center per se. Took us a 15-20mn ride to access it because there is always a lot of traffic. But it was fun!

Fantastic place, we spent the first week of our honeymoon here and had a brilliant time.

If you don't get a taxi the walk into Ubud although close can be abit wild

Our room was very spacious and cosy with a nice balcony. The hotel is beautiful with plenty of nature and a nice swimming pool. The staff is nice and caring (they provided some snacks without our asking which was very nice as we arrived in the middle of the night and made some special decoration for our honeymoon).

Be sure to ask for a room on the first floor as the rooms on the ground floor smell like mold probably due to the proximity with the swimming pool and the extreme humidity in Bali. We initially wanted to be on the ground floor but moved upstairs because of the disturbing smell but everything was fine on the first floor. Also, the breakfast is a little bit of a let down for a 5-star hotel, both for the quality and the choice. It gets really boring if you stay for a long time like we did (we spent 8 nights there). It would be so much nicer to have a buffet.
