Very close to the concert venue I was going to, and also to the train stations. They also serve breakfast to your room.

Someone was trying to open the door to my room since they saw I was alone after putting my breakfast plate out. I couldn't call the front desk to report it at that time because they don't have a phone in the room. Good thing I always double lock once I get in.

It was close enough to the city (within walking distance) but located in a quiet suburb. It’s a budget hotel so I did MOT come with expectations of a fancy place. The hotel has been around for sometime but the bed is comfortable, air conditioning works, the rooms and hotel is clean and there is a night desk/guard. For a solo traveller it was an excellent hotel

I am realistic for a budget price I didn’t expect any extras.

Fantastic place. Old heritage building with high ceilings, well maintained. Big, clean room with high ceilings, decent aircon. Good WiFi with no interruptions. Exceptionally quiet, rare in an Indonesian city. Located in a posh area of Jogja, with low traffic and wide roads, similar to Jakarta's Menteng, but still a 15 min walk from Malioboro and the train station. About 5 minutes form Raminten restaurant (cheap and great local food in a unique setting). Helpful and unobtrusive staff. Great value.

Should use less air freshener spray when cleaning, it's not needed. I can't find any other negatives.

We booked this hotel because it was really close to the train station and we needed an accommodation for the night to catch the train early in the morning. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We can definitely recommend it.

Good room, air con & wifi both worked well, reception were helpful and kindly adapted the breakfast to suit a more western diet, hotel was quiet which was nice and the surrounding area is very nice too.

Very nice colonial building of 100 years old. Spacious nice room. Hot water shower. Quiet place, no mosque nearby.

Nice facilities, cold water was available for re-filling bottles. AC worked great, room was clean.

Not fan of breakfast, we had 2 different sets of pasta on different mornings. Garlic pasta with fried egg one morning and then cheesy macaroni with some kind of hot dog like sausage another morning. Toast and instant coffee is available. The chairs in the courtyard outside of room 102 should be re-located. Had one occasion where two people set outside the room smoking and loudly talking for several hours and our room smelled like smoke. Another occasion some men got back to hotel late and hungout in the same chairs talking past midnight. Bed a bit uncomfortable & smelly device in bathroom smelled bad.
