I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express hotel and suites. The hotel was very clean and hot breakfast was delicious with a lot to choose from. The staff was accommodating and polite. The location was in a good location and easy for me to get where I needed to go.

The only thing I had an issue with is the price. It was very costly. I don’t know if the prices were more because it was homecoming weekend or if it’s just the price of the property. I paid $888 for 3 nights.

from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by a gentleman in a wheelchair who was super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. check in was quick and easy. The room was very clean, it had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfy. there was a big variety from fruit cereal, eggs muffins, yogurt for breakfast. It was nice to have such a large selection.

This hotel was above my expectations for a 2 star hotel. The room was very clean and either a new hotel or recently renovated. The staff was engaging and very friendly. A shout out to Marie in the buffet breakfast. She went out of her way to be helpful to me. Very clean. The buffet had good food and a lot of selections … even healthy choices.

Nothing. I would stay there again.

My husband said it smelled of my hair spray! Very roomy! Just wish the bed was a little softer! Also, they checked us in early, amazing! The front office worker that afternoon and the next morning beautifully amazing and kind!

The bed and the fact we had a couple in a different room, the toilet got clogged, and they handed them the plunger! That's not ok!

The room was modern, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very courteous and friendly.

Shower stall was too small. I kept hitting my arm on the shower control. Although the room was nice I would not recommend for romantic stay. No way to shower with your significant other. Lastly, The layout of the room was odd with the entrance to the bathroom facing the bed and not the entrance hallway.

location great. breakfast great. room quiet and comfortable. also, we accidentally left behind a garment bag with clothes. when I called, the staff promptly followed up with me and mailed the items to me right away. yay team!

only negative is that people are permitted to smoke by the hotel entrance and there were a lot of smokers when we stayed there so the smoke filtered into the lobby area.

The staff was wonderful. Knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We would come back just because of the staff.

The sheet on one of the beds was not clean. It had a stain on it. To be fair, I didn't call to complain because we arrived at night and it was 11pm by the time we turned down the sheet and noticed the problem.

I like the hotel, friendly , expeditious, and professional staff. The room and facilities were clean. The complimentary coffee and tea was nice and the breakfast was great. This hotel is a gem in Dove Delaware!!!

The alarm went off and we had to evacuate. That wasn't the problem, the problem was the other patrons response. Evacuation is necessary when an alarm goes off. Thank you IHG for your prompt, safe, efficient staff.

The location was great for us. The room was comfortable. The free breakfast was the best ever. Everything was kept replaced and hot. 3 kinds of eggs. Bacon, links and sausage Pattie’s, cereal, sausage gravy, toaster for bread, English muffins, fresh made pancakes , fruit, and warm cinnamon buns. Plenty to choose from.

Spacious rooms. Great Location. Staff was great. Surprisingly quiet. The free breakfast buffet was the best I’ve encountered. Well-stocked. Real bacon, two kinds of sausages, eggs (freshly cooked), assorted pastries, juice, pancakes, etc. Everything a weary traveler needs to start his/her day. Everything else was good to great. But the breakfast was the perfect exclamation point to a great stay.

Not sure if the linen was completely changed. One pillow retained the “presence” of a previous occupant. However, I’m sure that if I’d called the front desk they would have immediately replaced it.
