Most of the staff were exceptional. The rooms were exactly what we wanted. Access to the stadium pool at Circa was such a bonus. Proximity to Fremont was amazing!

Paige at the front desk needs more training. She wasn’t helpful or informative. The trainee who was working with her was very interested in helping us have a great experience. Paige was not. She openly stated that she put us in less desirable rooms that stayed noisy until 2 am (we loved the location, and were so tired from walking the strip, we slept right through the late music). Luckily, Kevin the manager came along and said all the things Paige should have said. He was helpful, kind, and made no assumptions about us based on our bedraggled appearance after our exhausting drive from Wisconsin.

Located right at the start of Fremont Street by the Main Stage, you can easily walk out the casino and boom you are right in the party! Also, you're close to public transit so it is easy to bus it down to the strip if you want. The room was comfy, if small, but it IS the original hotel on Fremont Street. Pretty cool feature, they mark in the hallway where the original building and rooms are and where the addition is. The bed was super comfortable, tv is fine, wifi worked perfectly well (we logged into our own YoutubeTV to watch some NCAA football). The room had a refrigerator, no microwave or coffee pot. Ice machine worked fine and was centrally located, and we were weirdly impressed with the vending machine. It had the usual snack and beverage fares, but it also dispensed personal care items ranging from OTC drugs and hygiene to sexual health/protection. We just found this to be a thoughtful touch for those that might be in immediate need.

The shower in the room took 10 minutes to go from glacier to inferno and if you tried to adjust from melt your skin off it went immediately back to deep freeze. Trying a millimeter adjustment again and 5 minutes later you'll get blast furnace output water. I'm trying to say temp control in the shower is non existent. Better to fill the tub with the lava water and let it cool down. Really, this was the only bummer, but we adjusted for our 2 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Location is the best. Lots to do and see. Bands every night for entertainment. Bus was easy to find, and the drivers answered any question we had. This is our second time at this resort, and I will come back again

The bed and comfy and I really like the fact you are in Freemont street itself. The casino is cool.

Can be noisy at night, being so close to Freemont street. Is better if you carry on earplugs for the night. Could be nice if they provide some corners with a microwave on every floor, juts to reheat food and some room with little fridge options.

We have stayed there before, but this time we had a good room overlooking Fremont experience stage .

The bathroom had to step up to get in and small , the door keep slamming into the toilet, and someone's hair was still on the walls of the little 2x2 ft shower

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though this hotel is old, the upkeep and cleanliness were noticed. Being an old hotel, the tiny room has small upgrades such as the rain shower head and lots of lighting in the bathroom. The bed seemed comfortable and the bathroom and rest of room was very clean when we arrived. We loved that we had access and were able to enjoy the Circa pool as part of our stay at Golden Gate. We will most likely stay at the Golden Gate when we come next year for EDC.

The only thing that possibly could be a problem for some guests is that the bathroom and stand up shower in our room was extremely tiny, standing room only. You should also know that Fremont Street can be noisy, Both of these things were expected and not personally a problem for me. You can always bring earplugs for sleeping.

Great casino and hotel

Small rooms need updating very badly plus no outlets in bathroom and only 2 outlets in the room...need more outlets!
