It is a roomed building. the reception is only open at specific times for reception and departure. It's very clean and the rooms are newly renovated. Some rooms have a balcony where you can sit. Ours had a patio door but no balcony to sit on. Fresh and complete lunch.

The location of the hotel is really not ideal. Contrary to what is written, it is a 20-minute walk from the old town and we are good walkers. The descent is easy but dangerous since there is no sidewalk. To go to the nearest beach, you have to go down 400 steps and to go back up, you need to be in good shape.

The property was very beautiful as it faced the waters. It was clean and family friendly. The host wasn’t there to greet us, but she was readily available via messaging. If you provide her with an approximate arrival time, she will call the property and greet via phone with instructions. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing as well.

The staff member that greeted us didn’t speak English, so it was difficult to ask her questions during check-in. But having Google translation helped a lot. She was very friendly nonetheless. Make sure you arrive during the check-in slot to be able to enter the property.

Villa Guarracino is located on the Amalfi hillside, the views overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the lush lemon orchards are inspiring. The facility is comfortable, and modern yet still has the charm of tradition with the breakfast garden. The staff, while we had a rocky start were very friendly and helpful especially with transport and advice on places to dine. The Villa is a little distance from the main town (20 minutes walk), so it provides serenity after a full and enjoyable day.

The Villa staff were not present 24/ 7. We arrived before our check in, and the facility was closed. the place felt abandoned. We had to wait almost three hours before someone arrived at the Villa, (at a local bar with all our suitcases.) While we understand check in was fixed there should have been someone at the facility at all times. This experience could have ruined our vacation. The staff tried to make amends. But the absence of the staff was noticeable throughout the stay, especially at nights. When you visit a country, you really want to have someone to interact with regularly, and front desk staff are essential for providing that support.

Location - it's a tough town with how far away everything is and the roads are so tight to walk, so it was less than 2 KM from town and the bus stop was very close to the entrance. Also, the included breakfast was REALLY key and the staff was able to accommodate making it earlier when we had to leave which was incredibly gracious. The view was incredible . The beds were great and the bathroom was really good with water pressure and cleanliness

We did have some ants, but it was minimal.

We stayed in the junior suite with a terrace and it was lovely. The room was very clean and quiet, terrace was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. We had great sleeps here.

Would have been a 10/10 if there was a kettle or coffee maker in our room and closer to Amalfi town. Paying $500 AUD a night you sort of expect tea and coffee facilities. you can buy coffee downstairs but the staff didn’t start til 8 we couldn’t get coffee until they were up. The property isn’t in Amalfi town so be prepared to get the bus or taxi to and from Amalfi.

The Villa was extremely clean and quaint. We loved the view from our rooms and the amazing help we received with questions as well as the ability to drop our bags off before check in time. There also were not a lot of steps which is a plus on the Amalfi Coast! Overall we would stay again!

The location is a bit of a hike away from the main city center so keep in mind that you will have to take the bus which can be a little bit stressful.

This unassuming villa is an absolute gem, newly renovated, spotless, white. Personnel was present, but non intrusive, we had the impression we were alone. Extremely responsive (via chat) they went above and beyond trying to reach us before check in and catered all our needs throughout our stay. The beach, Il Duoglio Spiagia, is near, the bus stop to Amalfi is across the entrance to the villa, parking is close. You don't need anything else.

5 nights are not enough

We got a very comfortable room with a generous sized terrace… the bathroom and shower were excellent and loved the thoughtful design in the room.

The pillows were very firm but mostly there was an ant infestation in our room and terrace. Unfortunately they were crawling all over our room and at night I awoke that they were on my pillow and face :( the location was not great to get in and out of the main centre.

We are so happy with our stay in Amalfi The breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety to choose from and we always left full It was a 25 minute walk to town and a 3 minute walk to the bus which was very easy to access and use On the way to town downhill and the way back uphill with stairs although manageable and unavoidable when staying in Amalfi. But for those with low mobility or luggage would be recommended to use the bus from town Beds were comfy and provided with extra pillows which was fantastic We would recommend this place to anyone Only comment would be it would of been nice to have a kettle or other utensils (e.g. wine glasses) in room but easily accessed during the day when staff working

proximity to Centre. Jessica went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing one…Nothing was ever too much to ask. Daniela was also very pleasant with lovely breakfast every morning. The patio was lovely with beautiful views over the mountains and the ocean

no coffee station in the room - would’ve been nice to enjoy a coffee on our beautiful patio in the morning or even a lovely glass of wine in the evenings, while looking out at the ocean. There was not even a bottle opener or wine glasses. small mini fridge in the room but not even any water offered complimentary.
