Great staff and very helpful with suggestions and booking activities etc. We had fun at the local beach club a short boat ride away and an amazing private charter for the day that took us up and down the coast - definitely a highlight and easy short walk to the charter company dock. Location is pretty cool as it overlooks the Amalfi harbor and pretty blue water and views of the mountains with the houses built into the sides of the cliff. It’s close walking distance to center of town (3-4 minutes) for restaurants and coffee shops, gelato, shopping etc. and the beautiful church and clock tower in the town piazza. Very clean, simple room and spacious. Bathroom shower also overlooked the water but a little small for us, but we are tall people! We had a car (driving was a bit hectic on the windy and narrow mountain roads and aggressive Italian drivers tailgating you if you go too slow!) and parking can be a real issue in the area with the crowds but staff arranged a private parking lot for us nearby and had a golf cart shuttle service pick us up and our bags to the hotel. Room had good A/C and white tile floor which was a blessing in the heat wave while we were there. We were out and about exploring most of the time but it was nice to get relief from the heat when we came back to the room. Breakfast was decent and brought to your room at time you choose so you can eat in bed or sit on the balcony and watch the harbor and town wake up while you eat.
Only downside was it was a bit tricky accessing the hotel as the front door is right on the road in a tiny alcove right before a tunnel and with the traffic buzzing by with speeding cars, mopeds and big tourist busses - but we got used to it and it was part of the adventure! Lots of stairs too so be ready for a hike and could be tough if you have large heavy luggage. Peak summertime was really busy with people and boats and cruise ship ferries so smell of marine diesel got bad at times but with the doors closed it was not a problem.

This was the best place we stayed throughout our Italy trip. The rooms were very clean, comfy beds, air conditioning allowed us to sleep in the heat. The breakfast they provide is a massive amount if you choose. The staff are also the best, they answered all our questions, helped us get around, went above and beyond and are just genuinely fantastic people. You also can't beat the location looking right out on the water and walking distance to everything.
We liked everything. No negatives to provide.

The hotel was in a fantastic location right in the midst of it all overlooking the port. It had amazing views and the ferries and SITA buses were right on the doorstep. Plus the gorgeous town centre was only a five minute walk away with lots of brilliant restaurants to choose from. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was really spacious and exceptionally clean. We loved having our delicious breakfast on the balcony too.
The hotel is on a hill, so you’ve got to be ready to tackle a few steps and negotiate the short bit of road up to it, but it’s so worth it!

The location is amazing. It's so close to Amalfi terminal and accessible. It might be a little tricky to find at first, so mentioning a few things: - if you are reaching Amalfi from Positano/Sorrento you are likely to pass one last tunnel right before reaching Amalfi terminal. Go back though this tunnel and you'll find a green door at the end of the tunnel( not to be confused with the green door inside the tunnel) - use the intercom for Vistad'Amalfi and the receptionist will let you in. (Make sure to use the intercom.for Vista d Amalfi as there is another stay in the same building as well) - Once inside make your way to the roof as the reception/office of Vista d'amalfi is at the top. You can do so by keeping the luggage at the bottom and the receptionist (Andrea was there when we stayed and he helped a lot) will help you with it. Because it's so close to the terminal it is very easy to get both ferries and Sita buses from here. I would suggest to opt for the breakfast as it's really tasty and they get it delivered to your room at the time of your choice.

This property had classic Italian charm, with lovely romantic views of the sea. Perfect spot to visit the Amalfi coast. Walking distance to beach and Amalfi restaurants and close to the major ferry port. The room was lovely. The building is old but nicely renovated. Tiled floors and minimal furniture make it good for a beach holiday coming in and out of the room regularly. Breakfast was generous, with a lot of options to suit everyone. Sebastian was lovely and really helpful.
Be prepared for a lot of stairs. As in all Amalfi, the buildings are old and can be difficult to manage.

Beautiful location and view. The breakfast was good the bed and washrooms were wonderful and the staff were lovely. The breakfast didn’t arrive when it said it would but as long as you don’t have an early boat to catch that hardly matters

I absolutely loved our stay here! - The room was amazing, very large and the air con was a godsend after a day out in the humidity. - The bed was very comfortable, the views were magic and I really loved the shower. - I loved being on balcony overlooking the port every morning & night - we were there over 4 July and had prime views of fireworks from our balcony. Highly recommend to stay here!
- Wifi is terrible. Wouldnt last more than 5-10 minutes before being disconnected again - The stairs to climb in hot weather, 😂 it's hard work - The breakfast is pretty average but was not a deal breaker

The location is fantastic. About 2 minutes to the harbour and the main bus station, 5 minutes from the town centre. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from and delivered to your room to be had on the balcony with the most gorgeous view. Staff were very friendly and Andrea helpful with finding our way around and also recommending a few places to visit. The room was spacious and very clean! We loved that with the shutters we had no sunlight coming through and we had great sleep.
If you don't like steps/stairs don't go to Amalfi Coast. I think the place would benefit from a light on the staircase just after the very first set of doors. . It was a bit tricky to find our feet on the way to the flat after the sun has set.

The best view of the port of Amalfi and the coast right from the balcony. A 5 minute walk to the center of Amalfi and a 2 minute walk to the port to get on ferries. Private balcony to eat breakfast on and take in the view. AMAZING staff. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning after filling out a card the night before to let them know what you want to eat and what time you want it to be served. They give you a set of keys to get into the building, into your hotel, then into your room so you can come and go as you please whether there is an attendant there or not. The night stands, headboard on the bed, and table on the balcony are all handmade ceramic are pieces iconic to the Amalfi coast which I loved. The shower in the bathroom has a door that closes which I was happy about considering other places in Italy we stayed at did not have an enclosed shower so water easily got onto the floor. Angelo was amazing from the moment I booked my stay to the very end. He helped organize transfers from Sorrento station to the hotel in amalfi then from amalfi to the airport in Napoli. He gave us the BEST restaurant recommendations for Amalfi and Positano. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. The hotel and room itself has a certain charm you’re just going to have to see for yourself when you go because it can’t be explained. We will definitely be going back to Amalfi and staying at Vista D’Amalfi when we go. We miss it already and we just left!
The door to get into the main part of the hotel after you’ve climbed the stairs before you can go to your room gets stuck and there is no attendant there to help let you in after 6pm. The ONLY flaw.

First of all, we liked how Andrea waited for us for our late check-in, how warm and inviting he was and that he called before to see where we were and if we needed anything. We enjoyed our exceptional view of the sea and amazing breakfast. We opened the window and there she was, the sea - beautiful as always. That’s how we started the morning, like kings, watching the sea and eating the breakfast delivered to us on the dot, when and how we requested it. The bed was also comfortable and spacious, we slept well and felt generally well in this room. We also need to mention James, the manager, who seemed to always be in the right place, at the right time - when we needed him. Curteous, professional and efficient. We felt that Vista d’Amalfi is good value for money too! We will definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Amalfi - and Amalfi too, it’s so chic, beautiful and friendly.
We liked absolutely everything, we wouldn’t change anything and would return here!
