This hotel was a total positive surprise. The location is nothing special, just near the highway, BUT: completely renovated 2 years ago, including garden, hall and our floor (as I understand one floor will be renovated this year or next year) - the whole place looks brand new and neat and modern a fresh. A fantastic feel. Staff is superb. Tiziana at the desk, tireless, smiling and patient, pays so much attention for our comfort, asking us at checkin what type of room we would like (shower or bath? etc). We felt so much attention and caring from her. We improvised this stay as our other hotel was canceled and just stopped exactly at the nearby gas station, to look for a hotel - this is how we ended up here. We had time for a dinner at the restaurant, wonderful kind staff there too, nice food, smile and patience. Can only recommend to stay here, and thanks for everyone at the hotel to give us this surprise and make us feel in total comfort and peace, after a loooong tiring driving day. We will be back, definitely !

We have stayed at the L'iola many times now, using it a stop over on our way down to the south of Italy. On every occasion we have found all the staff really friendly and helpful. The restaurant only opens in the evening Monday to Friday, but is well worth visiting, for the quality of the food and value for money and the service. Breakfast too is very good. If visiting at weekends there are a few good places to eat nearby. The hotel's rooms are always very clean and a good size. The hotel is well located next to the exit to the autostrada and although it is so close, we have never been disturbed by road noise. A great place to stay.

The rooms are modern, spacious, and perfect for the modern traveler. Electrical and USB outlets everywhere. Quiet and peaceful despite location off the autostrata. Dinner in the restaurant was 5 star. Above all- the service is of the highest level. Frederica- not a front desk clerk but the concierge every hotel dreams of having.

There is no public transportation to and from the hotel. Although a driver can be hired, the cost is exorbitant. I would stay again if the hotel operated its own shuttle service.

We have stayed here many times now and without exception have always found the staff really friendly and helpful. The rooms always clean and very comfortable. The hotel is next to the motorway, but we have never been disturbed by this. The restaurant deserves a visit for the quality and value of the food on offer and the helpful waiting team. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

We oiginally booked this hotel as a one night stop over to southern Italy. We were so impressed with the staff and facility that we booked a night a few days later when we had to go to the ariport in Rome to pick someone up. The room was immaculate, shower great, and the bed super comfortable. The staff were efficient and friendly. We felt we were part of their family. Breakfast was good. The grounds were beautiful. The room was immaculate.

We have stayed at the Liola many times and always find all the people there to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and in spite of being next to the Napoli Roma motorway the rooms are quiet and fully air conditioned and the beds very comfortable. We would recommend the restaurant in the hotel, it is both good value for money and the food very good, as is the breakfast. The restaurant is not open at weekends, although the hotel can recommend places nearby, which are also very good (we have tried most of them!!) The hotel is well placed half way between Roma and Napoli at the Castrocielo exit. We do not hesitate to recommend the Liola as a place to stay.

Breakfast was good and started at 7am.Staff friendly.

Bar and restaurant were closed ( we were told because it was a Sunday). No restaurants nearby, so you have to drive again. We were tired....thankfully we found a mozzarella di bufola shop and bought cheeses, ham, salami and olives....and that was our dinner.

Beautiful hotel that was very affordable and right near the freeway. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had lots of outlets near the bedside.

The breakfast was already a bit picked over by the time we got there, so there weren't a lot of options.

Hotel was ideally situated just off the A1, room was wonderful, warm & very clean. The staff were exceptional, the receptionist was very polite & so very helpful she arranged for the kitchen to stay open so we could eat, as we arrived late in the evening. The restaurant staff were very friendly at dinner & breakfast.The food was delicious.

Modern and spacious. The grounds were lovely with a beautiful seating area and fountain. The staff at breakfast was courteous. The hotel is conveniently located right off the Autostrada.

They had control of the air conditioning so if you wanted it set higher you need to call the front lobby.
