Great central location just next to the railway station. Very friendly staff at the reception desk. Room is big enough for comfortable stay. It was very hot day, but air condition worked perfectly. Breakfast is served to the room – you choose items and time a day before and food is delivered to you. This hotel is a great value for money.
There was not very nice view through the window, but for my short stay, it was irrelevant.

This was an unexpected stop when the train strike meant we were stranded in Avezzano. Hotel Velino is 3 mins walk from the station, but on the right side of town for lots of lovely restaurants (only 5 mins walk away). It’s newly refurbished, great aircon and very comfortable beds. The receptionist was very helpful, including giving us advice on how to continue our journey by bus the next day. We had a double plus single all for €90, inc breakfast delivered to the room. Perfect. Thank you.

We arrived very late but they re-opened the kitchen for us and we got very good food!! The rooms are really nice.

Had to choose breakfast and have it in the room. Would have preferred to go out and have it in the restaurant

The staff was very accommodating and very nice. Very helpful as to where a good place to eat. It was classic style which quant.
The shower was very small. A larger man would have been very uncomfortable. I'm only 1.8m tall.
