This was our second time staying at Hotel Costa. We even stayed at the same room as last time :) The service is still at high level. Definitely would recommend the place to anyone who wants to stay in Bari for a few days. The staff is friendly and always smiling and happy to help (they even remembered us from our previous stay). The room itself is cozy, cleaned every single day and it has all you need for your stay (toiletries, towels, hangers, AC, big closet etc.). The location is super convenient - close to the central bus and train station as well as to the main shopping street of Bari. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Very responsive and kind staff, they helped with all questions. The room is small, but very cozy and clean (cleaning every day). The location is ideal - close to the railway station, as well as a bus stop for Matera, Alberobello. There are many cafes within walking distance where you can drink coffee and eat very delicious picella or pastchitela. The old town is also nearby. We walked to Pane e Pomodoro beach in 30 minutes, for us it was a great walk. Thanks for a great stay!

Perhaps the only thing we missed was a small refrigerator. But even this did not affect our holiday.

The hotel room was beyond our expectations. The 24/7 available reception was so useful because we could leave the room key there and get it back when we came back to the hotel so we didn’t have to carry it with us. The room was clean, we had AC that worked pretty well. The bathroom was great, it had everything that we needed. The bed was comfortable to sleep in, we also had extra pillows and a blanket in the closet. The elevator was working well, but it’s pretty small, you can fit 4 people in it at the same time. The WIFI worked well too, didn’t have any problems. We had a TV but didn’t get to use it.

We had a usb port on one side of the bed and a normal outlet on the other but the usb didn’t work that well.

It was very close to the train station. Easy to find. The staff were all very nice, helped give me direction on how to get tovthe old part of town and kept my suitcase for hours after I'd already checked out. I would go back.

Nothing really. You had to put your key in the elevator to go up to your floor, but it was an old elevator so that's just the way they are sometimes. I was thankful there was a lift that worked great.

I would highly recommend this 2 stars hotel. I would definitely consider it as 4 stars hotel. Although it has no Breakfast but you can find Caffè 2-3 minutes walking opposite the hotel. The hotel has an excellent location within 5 minutes walking to the Shopping Center as well as 5 minutes to Bari Centrale (Train & Bus Stations). You will find also the Università Degli Studi Aldo Moro in front of the hotel. Very friendly Staff and very clean hotel. It was really a comfortable place to stay.

Great hotel, absolutely great location, just 3 minutes from the Bari Centrale, so easy to reach by walking. Located at about 10-15 minutes by walking distance from the Bari old town and central part. Very kind staff! We booked 2 rooms and they were big enough, comfortable and clean. They kindly looked after our bags while we waited for our evening flight at 10 PM.

The elevator

The hotel is very closed to the train station which I appreciated, and walking distance from the old town and pedestrian commercial area. The bed was very comfortable. The room is very clean, it has internet. There is an elevator. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not the case.

Since I need to travel around Bari by train, the location was perfect for me. As it was written before, most of the staff cannot speak English, but they always tried to help with a smile on their faces :) The room was cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable. Since my room faces the courtyard, it was quiet (except for the elevator).

The elevator really makes too much noise. Using bedclothes for the blanket could be better. I was not sure if they are changing it when the user changes. The only cleaning problem for me was this issue.

Spacious room, 0-24 reception, cleaniness, comfortable bed. Friendly staff, everything (check-in, check-out, keys) went smoothly. Location is good: close to the railway station but also for a short walk from the old city. Description, photos on booking.com are reaslistic. Area is quiet at night. Great possibilites for the breakfast near to the hotel.

Lift is old and noisy (it can be heared from the room). Doors of the rooms cannot be closed quietly.

Everything was perfect! The staff welcomed as as old friends - they were friendly and always smiling, they helped us by taking our luggage to the room. They also gave us an iron as soon as we asked about it. The room itself was spacious (including the bathroom), it smelled amazing and it was cleaned every single day. The locations is on point - just 3 minutes to the train and bus station, close to one of the main shopping streets that leads to the old town plus close to a few small supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.

Just one small thing which the property is not responsible for - the first night there were some loud guests of the hotel. They were using the elevator every 5 minutes, going up and down the stairs and we could hear their loudly conversations.
