This property had lots of charm but unfortunately we didn't find the staff very friendly at first but that was indicative of the town. The younger staff who came in for the evening were much easier to deal with. The room was adequate for one night and clean and comfortable.

It was very off putting to be greeted the way we were and I actually felt that the lady would rather we hadn't bothered coming. Things did however improve.

Conveniently situated on the Via Francigena. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. The restaurant downstairs is excellent and popular with locals. Good breakfast.

There was nothing we didn’t like - everything was better than we expected of a 2-star hotel.

Great hotel in just the right location for us. Our little dog was welcomed no problem and themeal in the restaurant was so tasty and wonderful value.

Clean, comfortable and large room. Big bathroom which was bright and clean. The beds were very comfortable had the best night sleep. Really great location especially to start the next day for the VF. Lovely balcony enough to sit watch the world go by.

Nice comfortable rooms, very clean and good shower area. Very important: an excellant reataurant located in the hotel ! This is likely the best hotel in town and certainly a good place to stay and maybe the best place to eat in town.

Breakfast was a bit meager and had to request for more cheese and ham. Appearently at 09:00 a large group had eaten most of it before us.

Stayed 1 night while walking the Via Francigena. Nice property in a convenient neighborhood. Enjoyed my Italian breakfast.

Very pleasant staff and good restaurant downstairs (one of the young waiters speaks exceptionallygood English) . I had a comfortable room with nice fluffy towels.

Breakfast was a bit weak compared with everything else.

The Pilgrims dinner menu was great and good value for money

The outside of the hotel and the yard was a bit scruffy and needs attention

Excellent restaurant on site and we were able to check in as soon as we arrived. Good location on the Via Francigena route through centre of town.

Breakfast starts at 7.30am so a very early start was not possible.
