The location is good, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the price is great. I was traveling solo and my little room with a twin bed was just fine. It had a balcony where I could have breakfast and it had a fridge so I could store yogurt to eat later. Also, it was quiet. I didn't hear any other guests from my room. The staff said they can order food from The Hangout restaurant nearby if you don't want to have to go somewhere for dinner.

As an American, when I ask for cream for my coffee, I mean half-and-half or coffee mate, not plain milk. So I didn't enjoy my coffee but that's just my preference. I didn't like the steep long walk with some stairs from the taxi stand (the farthest point that cars can go) which I had to drag my suitcase along to get to the hotel. I learned later that you can arrange to have it done for you for a fee. I didn't like that breakfast is between 8:00 and 10:00. I wake up at 6 or 7 and have to wait so long for coffee. I wish there was a coffee maker in the room or coffee set-up in the lobby for early-birds (with coffee cream!)

This property is on a great location a short walk from the centre of Capri. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were amazing and the hotel was immaculate. The manager was extremely helpful and gave us very detailed information on where to go and what to do including recommendations for a beautiful restaurant and a fantastic walk away from the crowds. We would not have enjoyed our stay on Capri without his valuable input.

This hotel is in a perfect location, so close to the main part of town but on a quiet street. We were given a 2 bedroom apartment that was brand new and so clean!! The breakfast was fine, and the staff and host amazing and helpful!! They helped with suggestions of things to do and places to eat and they all were amazing!! I wish we stayed longer than 2 nights!!

Everything was great, the only thing I would have liked was a better view, but there are so many places in Capri to see the view, everything else made up for the not so great view.

Warm welcoming, friendly and smiling staff. Hotel was clean and served good breakfast (not buffet). Good bed. The A/C is also great in the hot summer moths. Location is good, be prepared to walk a lot in Capri.

Nothing that the hotel could do better, there is a abandoned looking house just next to the hotel and is part of the breakfast view. Without that it would be 10/10.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a bed that was both supportive and cozy. The bedding was particularly nice—soft and inviting, making for a restful night's sleep. What truly stood out was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to my experience. Everything from the location to the cleanliness to the friendliness of the staff absolutely exceeding my expectations. This is a special place to stay, I plan to visit again. In all my travels, staying here provided me with special memories. The walk up to the property is majestic and the views are very peaceful, you could even smell the stand below cooking their waffle cones where they sell gelato and lemon and orange slush. Absolute magic

I had the most wonderful stay at Hotel La Tosca ! It was my first time in Capri, and the hotel manager Ettore was incredibly helpful with suggestions of activities and directions. He made my entire stay easy! The hotel is located a short walk into the main town, and further enough away you don't have to worry about the hustle and bustle. You can enjoy breakfast with a view of the water and gardens. The room was clean, well kept and comfortable. All the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I would absolutely stay again!

Ettore was an amazing host. We arrived earlier than check in time but Ettore upgraded us for free so we could check in earlier and made sure we had a good arrival with free drinks. We came without a plan and he helped us with an itinerary and recommendations that suited us. We did everything Ettore recommended us and our stay in Capri would not have been as good without his recommendations. The staff is lovely, the accommodation is perfectly placed close to the center and the room is nice and spacious with high ceilings. We were sad to only have one night here. Next time we will stay for longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The breakfast is typical Italian and sweet. We prefer more savory breakfasts. But it had everything you need.

Pristine, simple, well appointed common areas and rooms. Perfect balance for the vibrant beauty of Capri. Felt like a calm oasis after a day of walking around the island. Very zen-like. Service was top notch. Often it’s tough to find a good balance between personable and professional but this place wrote the book on that. I felt like a valued guest the entire time but with sincerity and also recognition of my privacy. Travelling on my own can have its challenges (I normally travel with my husband but wanted a solo trip) but Ettore and the rest of the staff made it seem completely normal and I was well attended to. Every morning Ettore would sit with me and plan out an itinerary that allowed me to see more than I imagined. Also even though it was the beginning of August and the island was swarming with tourists, I often found myself exploring the sites on my own or with just a few others. He directed me to incredible places taking into account my desire to walk a lot (I got 28,000 steps one day!!!) He took care of dinner reservations again recommending based on my tastes. Of course I will be back!
