Antico Mulino is an amazing place! An ancient country Milll perfectly restored in a beautiful residence. It was built as a pure gem of engineering in milling, water resources management and self sustainable living at that time (approx 200 years ago). My opinion: we must learn those days from this ancient wisdom! Coming back to the room - we had the fresco one - just exceptional. The bed and linens were fantastic. The furniture - artistic antiquities, that you find there even in the bathroom that is, by the way, totally modern. The nature around the property is genuine, nearby a small village. I've heard for the first time in my life the bucks grunting (we were there beginning of September) just nearby. Our host told us that we can see bucks and deer in the garden. The breakfast was delicious with cookies made by our very gentle host Cinzia, and the gift was a long discussion with her about the region, the history and culture of the region and Italy and also on the history of the property. By the way she speaks an excellent French! I must acknowledge the fact that the host, Cinzia exceed expectations ine many ways, but the outstanding ones her very detailed indications for how to get there better than GPS, where to eat in good and inexpensive restaurants, and above all what to see as a cultural asset.

Personally I liked everything, but what must be known by tourists is: - it is a remote location (we wanted that), so for the lunch and dinner you have to go by car at a restaurant a few km away - to get to the Antico Mulino properly, please use the very detailed guidelines that Cinzia is sending before arrival, as the GPS, till now, are directing you on routes that are very small and tortuous and can be covered by snow in winter (mountain region). That's all. ENJOY!

The pension is located in an old mill and is sensitively furnished. The area is very quiet, nestled in the middle of nature. The host is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was traditionally Italian, with cakes prepared by the host herself. There are many historical places around. The host recommended us many places to visit and where to eat.

The room was beautiful, very comfortable, with tea and water available, also bathrobe. Everything is done with care and attention to detail. Cinzia Is a great host, super available, with lots of knowledge about the places around which she happily shared with us. Breakfast is delicious, varied and lots of homemade cakes and jams.

The bathroom is outside the room but not a big problem since it is exclusive to that room (other rooms have their own bathroom).

Stayed at this beautiful place together with my film crew, we had a great time and enjoyed spending time together in the garden. Excellent, that we could bring in other crew members from another holiday home to have breakfast together. The breakfast here is extraordinary, a real treat.

One of the best farm house we have stayed! Beautiful mountain views, well designed room combining old charms with modern convenience, as well as the warm host Cinzia made our stay so wonderful! The sweet Italien breakfast was the best during our entire trip, with delicious home-made cakes, juice and breads. The shower in our room was so stylish and well-functional that I wished to have one my own! ;) We got also a little gift before we left, very surprised and glad. Strongly recommended!

Great stay in the rural part of the Apennines. If you are looking for a contrast to the hustle and noise of the Italian cities this is a great landing spot. Still enough infrastructure (restaurants, groceries, …) within short driving distance. Warm host, super helpful in providing tips for the area.

Cinzia is such a lovely host! Her breakfast of homemade baked goods was incredible, and she makes an excellent capuccino. She also recommended a place for us to get dinner that was exactly what we were looking for! And before we left, she suggested visiting a nearby attraction which we hadn't known about, but we really enjoyed! Friendly, helpful, accomodating, and a great baker! The property is very quaint and idyllic, a perfect getaway in the mountains. The bed was extreeeemely comfortable, and the decor was charming. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Really, one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in anywhere!

There are three stairs between the bedroom and the bathroom that are a bit treacherous in the dark

It was a lovely B&B in a beautiful setting. Cinzia and her family welcomed us when we arrived and were wonderful hosts throughout our stay.

My only negative comment is that the twin bedroom that one member of our group stayed in would benefit from having a small bedside table lamp for reading.

Beautiful property situated very close to Rocchetta Mattei. After a long drive it was such a peaceful place to rest. The bedding was amazing! Like sleeping in Heaven. Best bedding we’ve had on our trip so far.

Everything was wonderful. No complaints at all.
