Amazing staff - particularly Antonio and Maria, they could have not been more helpful if they tried! Breakfast was good, spa facilities are very clean and well maintained, the free navetta service really useful and lifesaver! The anti-stress massage was really good. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody visiting Ischia.

We paid extra for Superior Room with sea view - but room 201 did not feel too 'superior' and the sea view are on the side and quite a distance from the edge of the property. It should not be classed as 'superior' in our views. We would not select this room in the future. Also the note on the door stating no food or drinks from outside allowed at all was a a bit threating... The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, no free bottle of water provided per day and no minibar/no coffee and tea facilities in the room... They might had issues with people bringing all sorts in the past hence the note but we did not like the limitation as forced you to drink at the Hotel all the time.

The property is beautiful, perched on a hill overlooking the ocean, and is very well kept. The staff are all so excellent and friendly! They felt like family after our week stay there. The spa facilities are such a wonderful amenity to offer, annd the pool area is so beautiful and relaxing. And the breakfast is incredible! Enzo and his staff are so kind and attentive…I'm already missing my morning conversations with him.

The shuttle service down to Ischia Porto was a nice service, but I wish it would run on a regular schedule back to the hotel. Instead you have to call to have them come get you at a predetermined time, which was not always convenient. Also, it would have been nice if the spa facilities stayed open an hour longer until 20:00, as many time we would get back to the hotel from out day out at 18:30 and wouldn’t have time to use it.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We received a lot of helpful information about Ischia from the lovely young lady at the reception, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The dinner at their restaurant was delicious, and Mr. Enzo was very charming and made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is in a quiet and relaxing area, perfect for unwinding. They also offer a shuttle service, making it easy to explore different parts of the island. Our room was spacious and we had a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. I highly recommend this hotel, and if we ever return to Ischia, we will definitely consider staying here again!

An amazing stay, not even sure where to start: - the staff is perfect, at the reception, the bar, the restaurant, the best service you can expect, especially to the amazing Michele. The lovely boss Alberto is a gem too. - The room, big, beautiful, comfortable bed, nicely cleaned every day, and a breathtaking view (we had the “lateral sea view”, which was more frontal than lateral) - The beautiful pool, quiet, no need to rush and put your towel on the sunbed at 7am, there is plenty of room for everyone as this is an intimate family hotel - The breakfast, where you will find amazing food but also friendly; personalized and lovely service - The dinner, we went only once but there was plenty of good food (4 course!!) - The “extra mile service” they offer you: you need a car or a scooter? They organize. You want a nice massage? They take care of it. You need advice, ideas, plans? They will be there. - The spa: beautiful, relaxing, everything is made so that you feel well, massages were amazing. Long story short, if you are looking for perfection, in an intimate family setting, with personalized service, staff that cares and attention to details; this is the place to go.

Before making our reservation for Grifo Hotel we were reading the reviews on booking.com about the facilities and services . All review were about how great the hotel, the location and the stuff, the food and the spa. But what we found in real life was much above all our expectations. Something is very very special about this small boutiquee hotel and spa. From the first moment you feel so welcome, so well taking care, so relax and happy. You enter to world of paradise and that is not only because of beauty and the comfort of this place, that is because of the people that working in this hotel. They make us feel as part of their family. Coming back home we could not stop telling our friends about this place in paradise. For others who is searching the internet for the best hotel and great experience on the beautiful island of Ischia our advice if you make the reservation you would not regret it. The hotel is immaculate, rooms were very comfortable and spacious and staff were very helpful and friendly. We were B&B and the breakfast was fab! We did stay for dinner one night but, although it was lovely, as it was too expensive we didn’t stay again!

It was quite a distance from Ischia Porto (Casamicciola Terme was closer) but the shuttle bus helped enormously! Also thought that the roof was a wasted space! Much better use IMO would be a terrace where people can relax, have a drink and enjoy the sunset!

Everything,I was pleased to receive the hospitality and the wonderful service from all of the hotel staffs, including restaurants. I have been traveling Italy few times, I felt like at home feeling. yet always we received meticulous services. they offer the shuttle service to ischia port and back to hotel, but they are so nice to offer us without schedule time. The all of hotel staffs are cheerful and not overwhelmed. For us, the best services we received in Italy. Highly recommend to people who prefer privacy, great services and treat yourself. They treat you very well!

Can't say enough great things about this place. Grounds were exceptional (think botanical garden). Spa faciilties were lovely (cannot believe they are included with the room) There was no way to turn your head and not see something beautiful. Front desk staff were gracious, uber-professional, and patient (we had many, many questions!) The gentlemen who drove the shuttles were helpful and accommodating (we noticed they had a lot of people to juggle but they seemed to be making good decisions about handling the competing demand). Breakfast was sublime (one of the best I had in Italy), and we enjoyed a delicious lunch in the restaurant (spaghetti with claims, pork cutlet). Enzo, the head waiter, is exceptional at his job - he engages with all guests in a genuine, thoughtful way. We sincerely hope to return some day.

We have no complaints. I feel like we (loud Americans) were the worst part of the stay but no one (mostly honeymooners and mature couples) seemed to mind our spirited and active children (I had to do a lot of ssssshhhing). The location is a little secluded (which is part of its charm), but once we figured out how to use the buses, Ischia became a lot more accessible.

Our stay in this beautiful property was wonderful, we will definitely return. The room was beautiful and spacious, bathroom great. The facilities at the hotel fantastic, great breakfast, wonderful swimming pools and the spa area. I loved my massage by Lucia! Enzo was great at the breakfast and in the evenings. We also really liked the shuttle service. All the staff were so extremely attentive and friendly that it sometimes actually felt too much! :D It was a fantastic stay.

Well, I simply liked everything about the hotel. Location is near the Ischia Porto and city center. Actually, there is shuttle bus that takes you on certain schedule times to/from Ischia city, so you will be conveniently transferred. I would like to talk about my own experience at Grifo Hotel, basically I can’t thank enough the staff and everything they did for me and all guests! I simply felt I am between my family- the hospitality and cheerfulness of all the staff; the shuttle driver and musician Mr. Francisco and Antonio who I drove with him a couple of times and both guys are super helpful and humble. The Chef! I can’t thank him enough for his lovely welcoming every morning, the variety of food on breakfast and the delicious dinner that includes multiple dishes from Ischia. The receptionists who helped me with scheduling the shuttle from the Port when I firstly arrived, welcomed me delightfully, and explained on a map all details of the Island and how to get to every single place by using the public buses. Check in and out were super easy and booking for the shuttle bus transfer they organize it very easily to make their guest comfortable. The rooms are super clean, I liked the smell of room when I firstly came - it smelled that limon essential of Ischia :), the bed is comfortable and I had a room with balcony seeing the green mountains! Simply stunning. I definitely will go back again to Grifo Hotel on my next visit to Ischia. Ciao Ciao Grifo team until I see you all again 💕🤗
