The room was spacious and beautiful. It was comfortable as well. The castle is big and quite interesting. We wandered around and got lost the first time finding the restaurant. We came here by car to visit the Prosecco region, where the castle is. The breakfast buffet had a lot to offer, which was quite nice. Parking is right at the castle. WiFi was working well. Our room had a bathtub. Loved the sauna and wellness.

Unfortunately no coffee maker in the room. The fitness equipment was quite dated. For a big room not a lot of closet space or the closet was not really efficient.

CastelBrando is an enormous renovated castle in the Prosecco Hills outside of Venice. The property is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit. The staff was lovely and very helpful, even with a wedding going on and it being the shoulder season. Signage around the property is everywhere, so if you can’t find your way around, you’re just either clueless or drunk. Breakfast was a gorgeous affair up a red carpeted grand staircase in Versailles-esque rooms with great selections. The bar and pizzeria were the only dining/drinking options available on the evening, but this is clearly stated on their website as it’s not summer (when they open more of the building). Overall, should not be missed! A great value and experience!

My only note is that it would be nice if the bar and pizzeria had expanded hours. There were a lot of people waiting eagerly for both to open who went in and sat down right away. Seems like they could make more money! Also translating the historical signs in the museum area into English.

Everything. Such an unusual property, we chose it as that, and happy to spend some extra at the end of vacation. We loved finding our way from here to there in that great building, even if there were clearly marked routes. Very comfortable, extremely helpful staff, and cocktails and dinner were delightful. Breakfast was also exceptional.

Wish we had more time ...

the Castle is great value for money and a great place to stay. it also has a very reasonably priced restaurant on site, would stay again

the only thing that stopped me for giving it 10 out of 10, is that the internet does not work in your room you have to go near reception for it to work it is a bit disappointing, considering that they have spent a considerable amount of money but went cheap on the internet

How do you rate a 2000-year-old castle?? One word: AMAZING!! You ride a funicular from the parking lot to the castle to check in, very fun way to enter this phenomenal castle. Got an unexpected upgrade upon arrival (because they weren’t at capacity that weekend) and check in was a breeze. Beautiful lobby with remnants of the old 13th Century castle preserved throughout. Enjoyed a facial and foot massage at their spa (you don’t have to be a guest to do this)—Giulietta is a great esthetician and I would highly recommend booking time with her. The spa is amazing…walking through the hallways, you felt as though you were in the 13th Century castle itself. And they definitely do a great job with sanitization for COVID throughout. Dark, large hallways, a dungeon, an original tower, fountains, great outdoor lighting highlighting 2 bell towers and a 70-step staircase leading up to the great room at the top, all made for an immersive feeling of being back in the 1800s when the castle was renovated. They also have a 90 min tour for €10 that is well worth your time and money! No need to be a guest for the tour either. Room was great with a “royal feel” to it with an amazing view of the mountains and valley. Breakfast was included and was good, lots of choices, hot and cold food and service was impeccable. I would definitely give this hotel 10 stars if I could. Make time to see this gem!!

Little bit of a hike from the funicular to the front desk to check in, but worth it!

There are hotels and then there is a converted castle with stunning views. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel has lots of character and excellent SPA facilities. The hotel offers secure parking and a great restaurant. Loved this place and will be back in the near future

Employees were very friendly and willing to help. They upgraded our room for free. A rich and carefully prepared breakfast. A wonderful view of the charming village. A delightful medieval experience in the land of Prosecco.

The room was quite small, but not a problem. The breakfast was amazing, taken in three sumptuous gorgeous rooms that you find in a real palace. The staff were perfect and we were upgraded which was very kind. Everything about the place, the view, the archeological museum, the restaurant outside was fantastic. Worth every penny and one won't forget it.

Nothing.

A month ago my friend and I decided we would spent the night in this hotel, and we absolutely do not regret it. The location is mesmerizing! It almost felt to us, like we were living in the medieval times. The breakfast was good, but there could be a little bit more variety and different choices in food. If you are staying here, you should definitely check the spa! Probably because of the covid, my friend and I were practically alone in the spa. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Although we hated the attitude towards me and my friend at the spa and hotel restaurant. They were pretty rude and uninterested, unlike the staff at the reception. We give the hotel restaurant 1 point, because first we waited half an hour, just to be acknowledged and we also got our drinks when we already ate our food. Although the food was ok, the service was absolutely terrible (can see the hatred towards foreigners).

Incredible castle with multiple restaurants at affordable prices. Just an incredible experience. Attention to detail you don’t see these days anymore. Garage parking. Amazing breakfast and even a free ride up the hill if you want to visit the town. Ekstra credit to Luca at reception. What a top guy with service mindedness at the highest level.
