Our double room with bathroom and sea view was lovely, and the air conditioning worked well (and was greatly appreciated!). The staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast (on the terrace) was generous and vegan friendly.

We would have preferred to pay the tourist tax when we checked in, like most (?) places ask you to do. We didn't realize we still had to do that when we were leaving and it caused a mini-panic as we tried to leave to catch our bus without having paid the tax.

Very kind and helpful hosts Sonia and Robi! The accommodation in the castle is in a picturesque location, with a great view at the end of the narrow streets. Historic building. Very clean rooms. Close to the center, there is free parking nearby.

L'Antico Faro is a little gem. It is situated down a cool, narrow street in the old historical centre of the town. Our host came to meet us at the door and showed us around, providing lots of useful information. He is a kind, courteous and enthusiastic host. Our rooms were lovely: spotlessly clean, comfortable, cool and with effective air-conditioning. Plenty of hot water in the shower, and all we needed was provided. The balcony had a little washing line which proved very useful for drying swimwear. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with lots of choices and more than we could eat. We also sat up there with a glass of wine in the evenings and enjoyed the breeze and great views. We would highly recommend this lovely little family hotel.

The rooms are not well sound-proofed and some of the air conditioners are too loud. Pillows are uncomfortable. The B&B uses a photo of the church tower which is a bit misleading as the actual property is down the road. And the name would indicate it is a lighthouse, but it is not.

Lots of steps up to get to it pity it did not say that as I would not have booked Staff could be more friendly Pipes from bathroom whistle you could even heR the whistle from other rooms but saying that it's a old building Water was a brownish colour but again old building

Nice, friendly welcome. Good breakfast on the terrace.. Comfortable bed. I could leave my bicycle indoors.

Not the fault of the b&b of course, but it's rather hard work getting up there - you can't avoid going up or down some steps. But it's worth it!

I would totally recommend this accomodation to everyone. Not only the owners were super nice (even though I am a begginer in Italian, I would talk with the owners in it and it just lifted my italian experience so much, because the were really lovely and spoke to me slowly so I could understand), the terrase for the breakfast has the most amazing view on the Corsica island. The room was comfortable and big enough, it is a great place to stay when in Castelsardo!

Great location, we even had a sea view small balcony room, for a very decent price. Parking is indeed free, you need to climb a couple of stairs so be aware of this. And how wonderful to have a roof top breakfast. Very kind hosts

Lovely hosts, individualized breakfast, spacious rooms, excellent location, and clean.

Water pressure is low, there’s a lot of church bells going off all the time and the birds are loud but that’s expected by the sea. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Great location in old town. Good Breakfast served on beautiful terrace with a view. A little bit of a hike to the location, carry in only what you need!

WI-FI didn’t work well in the room, but you could access it in the downstairs lobby.
