From the airport, the easiest way to get to the accommodation is to take the ALIBUS, which costs €4, and get off at Piazza Stesicoro. From this square you can also take the 40-minute sightseeing train (€5) with an audio guide in 6 languages. There are several supermarkets within walking distance (Penny, Lidl, Maxistore Deco). We personally didn't mind the market below the accommodation, where you could buy vegetables, fruit, etc. at very good prices. With about 20-25 min of walk you can get the SAIS or Interbus intercity bus stations. The host was helpful.

We missed that there was not even a single cup in the room, the fridge was very small and a coffee machine would have been very useful.

Against all former bad reviews, was this 1 of the best accommodations, I had in this price bracket, and I come almost every 6-8 weeks to Catania. The location cannot be better, entrance is very bright lit up at night. And the assistant Alicia and the owner were very helpful. The room and the common parts were extremely clean. Big plus, the double glazed windows and the room and bathroom were very big. It is very nice, that you can have your breakfast in a Caffe Shop near by, were you can mix with locals. Additional, I could check in earlier and on departure, I could stay longer.

Stayed 5 nights at this location. we liked. the owner is responsive. The location is very convenient, where you can walk. the room is cleaned every day. there are minimal things like hand and body gel, in case you forgot yours. there were enough towels. for those who like to sleep longer, you need to consider that there is a market downstairs every morning except Sunday. And the same goes for parking. we parked nearby in the covered car park. for 12 euros per day. mostly positive emotions thank you 💞

One of the balconies was not overlooking the market. Just a very small yard. I don't think that there was an option to choose. Some pictures shown seems to have a kitchennette which was not needed but again don't think that there was an option for upgrade or otherwise.

Clean... Equipment of the room... Nothing to complain to. Briefly Excelent... Breakfast coupons were nice surprise for us.

Parking of the rent car on the street... We arrived on Sunday and woke up in the Monday morning and car was towed due the market... Exhausting from the time and expenditure point of view. 🤔 But that is not related to the room or owner of the place (just an recommendation for other visitors)

The room was very nicely furnished. It is located a short distance from the pedestrian zone (which is especially busy in the evening), a beautiful park is a short distance away, and there are also supermarkets nearby. It is very easy to get to the accommodation because there is a bus and metro stop only 5 minutes away. (the Alibus airport bus goes there) The room has a small fridge and air conditioning (the best things for me). From Monday to Saturday, there is a market in the location of the accommodation (which is also stated in the description of the accommodation). Well, first of all - there is an air conditioner, so you don't have to have the window open during the night (this will limit the sound from outside), the air conditioner can also be adjusted well so that you can sleep well with it (sleep mode). Second, you're not at the end of the world where people don't live, so there will be noise and it's everywhere, you just have to adapt, and if not, stay at home. The man who accommodated us was nice and we could communicate with him in English. Breakfast is served in a nearby cafe. You get tickets ,for which you get one croissant and one coffee. Those of you who have a sweet tooth like me will find something to suit you. Those croissants are amazing! They don't skimp on the filling at all. Then there is one more thing. Yes, there are many migrants in the city, but don't worry, the area where the accommodation is located is always busy (it's not in a dark alley) Another little tip. If you want to go to the beach, walk a short distance (10 minutes, nothing terrible) to the Piazza Borsellino from where the bus marked with the letter D always goes to the beach.

The place is just in the market, when you open the building's main door, you are already in the market. The apartment was very clean, with a comfortable bed, good AC, shampoo and shower gel and towel was provided. Hairdryer, hot and cold water, very clean bathroom and toilet. The host was nice. Overall very satisfied.

There are no luggage store room to keep the bag before check in or after check out.

The host is not very good at communicating check out time this lead to a misunderstanding between us. Would I stay there again, probably not.

The entrance of the building was verry difficult to find because of the dirty bazar all long the street.

Good central location, apartment is very nice, clean and the owners are kind people. A light breakfast is included at a nearby coffee shop.

Plane was delayed so we had to pay an extra 25 euros for the late check-in. There is a market every weekday on the street which starts early in the morning. It didn't bother us, but for others it might be a bit noisy.
