B&B i Mori is quite possibly the platonic ideal of a B&B given the very comfortable room, stellar breakfast, and amazing host. Our room exceeded even the rather high expectations set by the images, and the location provides good access to the main city of Catania. The host, Roberta, has an extraordinary warmness and was very kind to us throughout our stay. The breakfasts that we had also far exceeded expectations and we were able to sample a great many local food items. The toweling bathrobes, slippers, and strong water pressure also made the overall experience very comfortable. The rooms also have highly modern air conditioning, which I understand to be rare in European hotels. Mini marts within a two-minute walk sell bottled water and other beverages throughout the day and into the evening. I suspect that no accommodation will ever be better than this place. Easy 10/10, without a doubt.

None whatsoever. If absolutely pressed and I HAD to say something, the elevator was not working at the time our visit (Sept 2023) which may present issues for those with mobility issues or very large luggage, but it was NOT at all a problem for us (the entrance is around 15 steps above ground level), and my understanding is that it was a temporary mechanical issue.

Roberta is a fantastic host, she is so friendly, kind and knowledgeable about all things Catania. She really goes out of her way to help you in any possible way that she can! (I had a dental problem and she helped get me an emergency appointment with her dentist! Whom is super professional and kind) The B&B itself is beautifully done, the old structures are kept and integrated with new and modern touches. The place is incredibly clean and super cosy. The breakfast was delicious, lots of local treats from an assortment of cakes to cookies to pistachio cream etc... There's also savory choices with cheeses, meats, veg etc... and Roberta makes you eggs/sausage/bacon to order and coffee how you like it. There's also an ability to make coffee or tea in the room any time you want. The location is perfect, so close to the Teatro which leads you to all the places you need to visit...which Roberta shows you on a map - things to do and see and places to eat as well. It's around the corner to the Alibus stop, for coming from/going to the airport, very convenient and only €4.

A truly wonderful B&B that exceeded our expectations. The room was bright, spacious and clean. The location is amazing and allows you to easily walk to all main attractions of Catania. The bus terminal/train station is nearby making day trips easy. Delicious restaurants are moments away. The breakfast was superb - hot drinks, cooked eggs/omelettes, are available on request. The host, Roberta, is simply amazing and absolutely made our experience wonderful. She goes above and beyond to help you. You should absolutely stay at this B&B when visiting Catania.

The air conditioner is based on a movement sensor, meaning it turns off during the night causing some waking moments due to the heat of Catania's summer - although I do understand and appreciate this is to save energy.

Roberta was the perfect host. She made us feel welcome right from the get go and gave us lots of information on Catania for exploring the city. The room was very clean and comfortable with great air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. Roberta also helped us book restaurants and provided many recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will certainly return if we are in Sicily.

We had a wonderful time at iMori. Our room was spotlessly clean and had great facilities (large powerful shower, coffee machine, shampoo & conditioner, makeup flannel etc.). Roberta was an expectation host, going above and beyond to help us with parking, our luggage, places to go in Town, tours etc. We loved Catania (more so than Palermo), it was a beautiful city with some character, great food places, interesting shops etc. You can certainly visit without a car as the bus and train links are good.

Roberta was a wonderful host who provided detailed information about Catania, the best sites to visit and good restaurant recommendations. She is passionate about her city and clearly enjoys running this unique B & B. The space was exactly as advertised, including the spa-like room with massage chair, remote-controlled ambient lighting and a small fountain. There was much attention to detail in all elements of the decor, from the flowers adorning the walls and entrance ways to the various representations of the Mori heads throughout the B & B. The location was ideal for exploring the historical centre and the bar downstairs is the perfect spot for an espresso and pastry or light snack. Breakfast was also very good and included eggs made to order.

The only negative would be the noise made by the doors in the building when they slammed shut, but it was not enough to prevent us from enjoying a good night's sleep. Otherwise it was very quiet.

The host Roberta did anything to help us - she brought breakfast extra early to our room so we could eat before our trips start. She had helpful recommendations and even helped us book a taxi for the last day, which brought us to a restaurant, waited, and drove us back to the train station at a very reasonable price. This was definitely helpful. The room was large and we liked the massage chair. :) The location of the B&B is not too distant from the train/bus station and also the city center.

It was a real pleasure to have been able to stay. The host was always so friendly and welcoming in and nothing was too much trouble. She took the time when checking in to point out attractions and recommendations on the map. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the railway station and the bus stop to/from the airport is about 30 seconds away. The room was very comfortable and spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and recommend it to others.

It’s located in a historical building. The rooms are big and beautifully designed by preserving the historical tiles. Bathroom is also very well decorated by white marble and it was very clean. Location is perfect, it’s on a quite street you can’t hear noise of city but it’s close enough to the Cathedral and Etna Street, you can walk everywhere easily. Roberta is the perfect host I have ever seen. She’s running her business with love and passion. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. Roberta prepared a buffet breakfast each morning full with fresh foods, fruits, cake, cheese, egg and coffee/tea.
