Amongst all the hosts and BnB owners I’ve met, Nicola is the top one. He made our trip so reassuring and so easy. And for every question we had, he answered immediately, even after 11pm. We had the giant round bed and it is so comfortable. The AC does not blow directly onto it and you can fall asleep without risking waking up sick. Even though the street beneath is very busy, when the window is closed it is very quiet, you won’t hear a thing. You won't be disappointed!

This is a minor issue, and this is because the hotel is located in the city center, but if you plan to rent a car, parking spots are scarce. There are very good private garages which are not always easy to book for foreigners, but Nicola can book one in advance and get your entry card the day before you arrive.

From the very first click on Booking.com to the moment we turned the key in the lock, our experience with Dome surpassed all our expectations. Location-wise, we couldn’t have asked for better. Stepping out, we found ourselves immersed in the vibrant pulse of Catania, with popular landmarks, eclectic eateries, and charming boutiques just a stone's throw away. And yet, despite its central location, the apartment remained a tranquil haven. The highlight of our stay, however, was the exceptional service we received. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering personalized recommendations that enriched our journey and allowed us to experience the city like a local.

I had the most wonderful stay at Dome Suites in Catania. The manager, Mr. Nicola Maccarrone, exemplifies customer service. He is a charming first-rate professional, who went the extra mile to ensure my stay was most memorable -- from helping me book a driver that met me at the airport, to showing me all the features of my very spacious room, and also assisting me with my luggage at departure. The room itself had very tasteful interiors and fine facilities, including a beautiful rain shower and an enormous bathtub. This hotel is top of its game with its impeccable service, and attention to detail blending Sicilian sophistication with tremendous comfort. I didn't realise it at the time I booked, but Dome Suites hotel is also in a prime position in Catania - everything is easily accessible. The tone was set the moment I stepped out of my taxi from the airport with Nicola there to greet me. While the hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, a simple elegance pervades this hotel on the inside, and the room I was in had the most lovely finishes. As far as value for money goes, I couldn't recommend Dome Suites more highly, and you will be in the best of hands with Mr. Maccarrone, making you feel most welcome.

You can't improve on perfect. I could find no fault with the hotel, and recommend it without reservation.

Nicola had brilliant communication from booking to leaving. Dome is in a perfect location just off the main piazza with everything in walking distance. Although we landed late Nicola gave us a warm welcome and and helped us with our luggage (up some steepish stairs so appreciated) to check in. He gave us great recommendations for areas to explore too. A beautiful spotless room/suite we spelt v well after a long day. We were able to store luggage for a few hours after checkout which helped a lot too. Thanks so much!

The best place to stay in Catania very contemporary space with beautiful and simple design. The room had everything we needed! lovely view from our balcony overlooking the main cathedral. Nicola was very informative and helpful great host! Location was great close to the main attractions by foot there is no need for a taxi or any transport! And I must say food in Catania was exceptional everywhere you go food was 10/10! we couldn’t do Mt. Etna due to the bad weather conditions so we are going to return to Catania and stay here again!

Very modern B&B with big rooms and in a great location. The paid garage parking is 350m away and the bus from the airport stops pretty much in front of the apartment. Recommendations for the city were also given at check in! Nicola was the best host - he went above and beyond to help us find a way to Trapani airport when our flight got diverted from Catania at short notice. I would give him and the property 6 stars if I could!

Excellent Staff. Nocola is very friendly and sociable man. Answered to all our questions. He did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The location of the Hotel is just Amazing. It is less than 3 min by walk to Dome square. The room is very-very clean. Additional respect to the staf. :-) The room was fully equipped according the description at Booking. The breakfasts were served exactly on time according our requests (we changed the time from day to day). I will recommend to stay at this hotel to all my friends, planning travel to Catania.

My other half fell in love with the pillows, the shower pressure and heater was amazing. Big bed and big enough room to dance in 🤭 room was cleaned for us everyday which we didn’t expect but appreciated. Manager was amazing! Helped with every question we had gave us recommendations of where to eat and even helped when I was poorly.

Probably needed 2 pillows and a chair in the room would have been a nice touch. Compared to drinks prices outside in the centre the hotel drink prices was a couple of euro more expensive but still reasonable.

Fantastic location, close to so many good bars and restaurants but totally sound proofed so no problems with noise from the outside at all. I forgot what room I had booked so had a lovely surprise to find we had a massive room with gorgeous bath and our own lounge area to chill out in. The host was great, loads of good recommendations for places to go and where to eat. I would definitely recommend to friends and stay here again if we went back to Catania.

All great, we have nothing bad to say

We stayed in the king room, which has a cool roundshaped bed with comfy matrasse, has high ceilings decorated with stuccos, while it has a very modern and clever design. The suit was clean, well located (just next to the dome, walking distance from the station); it is a good size, also the shower is quite large. Thanks to the double door on the windows it is well soundproofed and made blackout. Also the aico worked well for heating. Our host, Nicola was very helpful, gave good tips for restaurants, booked us a taxi to the airport etc.

Fyi, the suites are on the second floor, with no elevator, but Nicola takes your luggages up and down for you. Also, as we ate quite a lot, felt good to move a bit :) It is not a complaint, only info, so people who have reduced mobility are aware of the stairs.
