Staff were brilliant, accommodating, friendly, and kind. The manager, Mariangela, was very patient and accessible. When she was not around in person, she was accessible via WhatsApp, and features of the hotel could be automated remotely, including being let in late at night for the first time. Hotel obligatory acts (checking in, etc) are done at own pace. The location of the hotel is very strategically placed within close distance to the centre and between the major attractions of the city. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would come back.

Minor issue due to visit being in a heatwave, but air conditioning often struggled to cool room. It was comfortable at night, and we slept well, but in the afternoon, it was quite hot. I would imagine this would be an issue in most hotels of this kind and would not affect my choice.

The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable and very well located. Breakfast is simple but so nice, great coffee and good pastries. Staff was adorable and super helpful. We only struggled with the air conditioning as you can only turn it on when you are in the room and it took really long to cool down (we woke up sweating on both nights as the air conditioning was still not cold during the night).

Doesn’t have elevators but is on the first floor. We didn’t like that the air conditioning took hours to make the room cooler - it was a real struggle.

The rooms were absolutely gorgeous (resembling the inside of a palace), clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with multiple options and a hot coffee made fresh. The location was also impressive, situated within walking distance of the major attractions in Catania.

The door of our first room did not seal properly, so all we heard all the noise in the hallway and our room lit up whenever the lights turned on in the hallway. Fortunately, they were very understanding and allowed us to upgrade to a better room for free.

It was very secure. The bedroom overlooked the back of the property so very quiet even though we were a short walk from the square. Very clean. Liked the decor. had everything you needed. Air conditioning very efficient. Breakfast was good with choice of croissants, toast, yoghurt, ham and cheese or cereal. The receptionist arranged taxi to airport and confirmed details by WhatsApp.

It was difficult to locate but when you looked for the number of the property we found it. The name of the hotel was not prominent but when you entered through the doorway it did not matter. Many steps to reception but the receptionist helped to carry my suitcase.

Really sympathetic and helpful staff. We were kindly assisted with checking in after midnight. The room itself was thoroughly clean, a bit small, but comfortable enough for a short stay and equipped with a most pleasant bed. The breakfast was basic (as is common) but sufficient. And of course the accommodation is situated at a walking distance from the central areas.

A minor complaint: we had no issues with noise, except during the morning. From our room you could clearly hear the conversations happening in the hall and the breakfast room.

I love the fact that Mariangela reached out to me and provided with all necessary information and even more (tips and places to eat, map about the main points). I felt taken care of. The bathroom and the bed were exceptional as much as the nice breakfast service in the morning. I loved the room interior, seemed to be well taken care and well-made. We could also leave our backpacks after the check out.

It's not really that bad but the person who served us a breakfast did not need to stay in the kitchen while we were eating, it felt a bit uncomfortable. But I am sure that he didn't have bad intentions, the kitchen is quite small so would be better to have more space.

Location looked a little sketchy but turned out to be fine. We walked home late at night and were not worried. We never met the hosetess but she kept in constant contact with Whats App. We submitted our passport copies through text. Mariangela was a terrific guide, directing us to shops, sites and a wonderful restaurant in the fish market all walking distance from the B & B. The famous piazza with the elephant sculpture was only a few blocks away. We didn't have breakfast because we had to leave early for the airport. Parking was in the inner courtyard but difficult to maneuver.

IMPORTANT Even though there is a small elevator you have to walk up a steep flight of stairs before you can enter the elevator and no one around to help with luggage.

The location of the property was very convenient, probably 10 minutes walking minutes from the Cathedral of Catania. The room was in a very good condition, the common areas, such as reception and breakfast room, too. The room was furnished in a very modern and yet in a very elegant way. The room and the bathroom were very clean and spacious. I would like to praise the lady at reception - Mariangela. She was very friendly, helpful to assist in checking in and she was also very well prepared with useful tips for places of interest. I would recommend this place.

It's a grand building with large, high-ceilinged rooms which are well furnished. Although we never met her - entry was all handled remotely by phone - our host was very helpful and accommodating. The cleaner - who also served breakfast - was very friendly, although she spoke no English and we speak no Italian!

Location is not far from the centre, but far enough that it was not comfortable walking back from dinner at night. Our hire car, parked in a nearby street, was broken into overnight. Breakfast was very basic (though the bakery products were fresh and of good quality) and served in the kitchen of what is, effectively, an apartment, not a hotel.

Excellent accommodation! Great service from the beginning, the welcome and check in very clear, lady was very helpfull. The location is great just on the main road that you can walk to the main plaza, lots of little shops around. Breakfast very nice. Check out lovely, we allowed to keep our luggage until the afternoon as we need to do some tourism around the area. Lovely place! Highly recommended! 😃
