What an amazing little gem in the heart of Civitavecchia! We were met by Daniela and Gianni on time for our check in who were both very lovely and spoke great English. They were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was larger than a hotel room with a spare bed set up for our 3 year old. The location is perfect, close to the beach, close to shops, we had dinner right down stairs which was amazing and then it was a close walk to the cruise terminal on our check out morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
Nothing!!

The location of the property was excellent. Very close to the cruise port. It was a little difficult to find and the taxi driver had to call the property to be guided in. Many be consider providing a little more clear instructions on how to reach the property
The breakfast was very limited. We were SHOCKED to have the owners just let themselves in the following morning. Luckly we were all dressed but had our lady guests been in a state if semi dressed this could have gone really wrong. When we rent accommodation we do not expect the owners to simply let themselves in. Also they were clearly wanting to turn the property around as quickly as possible. Whilst we were still in the property the beds were being changed. Finally having the owner sit in the lounge area with us on her phone made it very awkward. This is a red flag for us and maybe something we could consider before booking this property again.

Great owners who explained everything on arrival and even helped with taking suitcases up the stairs. There are 2 guest rooms upstairs (both lockable) and ours faced the piazza. The owners live elsewhere so you can be independent. The section downstairs is the kitchen and breakfast area which we shared with the other guests in the 2nd room. There was everthing you could possibly need with generous amount of fresh food and electrical equipment like toaster , coffee maker, microwave etc and food such as bread, milk, ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, sweet biscuits and pastry, juice etc..all on a help yourself basis and then just wash your own dishes up…like you would at home. We felt very spoilt and it was obvious the owners wanted us to have the best facilities and really cared about the place and kept it in a beautiful, clean condition. In our bedroom, they provided quality products like liquid soap and shampoo. ( Not those annoying little squares of soap ) The air con worked well. The location is perhaps 10 min walk from the station and about the same to the cruise port where you catch free shuttle bus provided by the cruise companies. Very easy to walk there we felt unless you want to pay €20 for a private taxi which some people prefer. All in all a lovely stay.
We did find that the water pressure in the bathroom sink tap was very weak and only a little came out. The hot water in shower was unpredictable - either very hot or luke warm..perhaps if both rooms are having showers at the same time, then luke warm ? Apart from the water issue, everything else was fantastic.

Before going on a cruise from Civitavecchia, we stayed here for 3 days. A wonderful experience, Gianni is a superb host and the accommodation is perfect with a lovely breakfast included and full kitchen facilities. Scrupulously clean, beautifully presented and decorated right in the middle of the older part of the town, we had easy and convenient access to great restaurants, cafes and bars. Easy walking distance from the train station and the port terminal. Simply the best! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nothing! It was perfect for us.

The continental breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The coffee machine in the kitchen was one of the easiest to use and made an excellent cup. Plenty of coffee pods were also available. The steps to the lift were easy to negotiate but the steps from the kitchen to the bedrooms were quite tricky. We took our cases up but the boarding house was so safe we could easily have left them in the large kitchen. The kitchen was also well equipped with microwave and small hob. The hosts were very helpful throughout our stay. If we ever cruise from Civitavecchia again we would certainly hope to stay here. A taxi ride was organised by our host to collect us at Rome Airport and take us to the door of the boarding house. It went very smoothly. It is possible to walk to the port but be careful as it is easy To go the wrong way when you reach the port entrance. We took a taxi from door to ship.
If we were really picky we could say it was a bit noisy outside in the evening but with the double glazed window and blinds it was easy to ignore. An impossible thing to correct would be the squeaky wooden stairs. I really had to struggle to think of things that bothered us.

Love this place and will definitely come back. The location is fantastic, just off a neat area of restaurants, plenty of shopping, and beautiful ocean views, with gorgeous seaside areas to enjoy nearby. The cruise port is a short walk away. The room is beautiful and had the perfect set-up with bedding and a very nice bathroom. There is a breakfast area which is well-stocked and breakfast foods are provided. What a lovely place!

Great location - walkable from train station and to the cruise port if you have minimal baggage as floors are very bumpy. In the evening, all the action is right outside your door. We came on a Friday and on a Friday night, everyone is outside dining at various types of food places. There is even live music that starts around 8pm!
The same fun dining and live music that’s right outside your door does not end until around 12:30am! I don’t know if this is a Friday to weekend occurrence or every night. CheckIn time is early which is nice but checkout time is also very early @10:30am so there’s an awkward 2.5 hour period if this is a pre-cruise day stay.

Large room with large ensuite, good air conditioning, great location and close to a lovely piazza. The bar/clothes shop near the entrance was fantastic. They can also provide food from next door. Hosts were welcoming and organised. Good communication
The temperature on the AC is illuminated and bright. It kept me awake as the only way to turn it off was turn off the AC. I missed the entrance as the plants had covered over the address but the host came and found me. There are stairs up to the lift and in the apartment to the room. Property is 10 min walk from train station, with luggage, not 5 mins.

Clean, comfortable, casual. I walked here from the station with my weekend bag without any trouble. Communication with the hosts was easy; so were check-in and check-out. Short, gently graded walk from here to restaurants along the beach, the Michelangelo fortress, the archaeological museum. The street it's on is cobbled. There is an elevator in the building, but you have to go up some steps from the front door to access it. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't find nighttime noise from the piazza a problem. I slept well, and enjoyed my time here.

This is a very cosy Airbnb. Close to the Civitavecchia port, restaurants, cafes, and shops. The host was brilliant in letting my family and I in to leave our luggage. He explained the proximity & location of everything around the accommodation. Everything was super clean and comfortable. I loved the view from our room and hearing the locals chatter downstairs, really gave a true Italian vibe. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you.
