Wow what a place! Gorgeous property in a stunning area. We had two connecting rooms, both big with comfy beds and a large bathroom in the main house. On our floor were 2 other rooms/suites and a kitchen. We cooked lunch and dinner in there quite happily. Property is in a quiet little village. About 40 minutes walk is a bigger village with train station direct to Verona and Venice. We hired a car but could have managed without, suing feet and taxis! It cost about 40 euro in a taxi back from the Opera in Verona late at night. The pool area is fab. The hotel bar and restaurant are great. Ample breakfast, lovely lunches, great drinks and ice creams. Buzzy place with lots going on and lovely guests. Staff were all amazing. 100% will go back!

Pool gets a bit busy sometimes as it's open to locals who pay. Makes a good atmosphere round the bar but Husband would have liked it a bit quieter.

Loved the traditional furnishings, the size of our rooms and the location. Good to have public transport nearby. The swimming pool is a good size and there are plenty of sun beds. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had lovely dinners in the restaurant and there was a good selection for breakfast and a range of snacks at lunchtime. We hope to go back to this property in the future.

It would be good to have an English speaking channel on the TV.

We stayed for 24 nights, we absolutely loved the location and facilities. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Having a self contained unit with a kitchenette enabled us to be independent and gave us privacy when we needed it. We loved the authentic old Italian furniture, wooden floor and ceiling beams. The pool and grounds were immaculate and constantly tended to, the effort put into maintenance clearly showed. We were very impressed with their communication and attention to detail. The restaurant/bar was great and the food was to a high standard. We were also given use of their laundry to iron after using the washing machine in our accommodation. A drying rack and hanging rails are provided which made laundry easy to do. The property kindly allowed our nephew to visit us and stay one night at no extra cost, they also provided clean linen for him. We did not expect them to be so accommodating and it was a pleasant surprise.

Staying 3+ weeks, the sofa bed wasn’t comfortable seating for daily use, the arms were loose and hard.

This was our second stay at Villa Nichesola - after finding this place years ago we always kept dreaming of coming back. It feels like a very private family space where you are treated as a guest, not a customer. We were enquiring about meal options on whatsapp (needed some vegan meals) while driving to the Villa and everyone in the restaurant knew our preferences the second we came and there were a number of options available. Located close to Verona, it is a short drive from everything you might need, but why go anywhere? The restaurant on premises offers great variety of food and drinks, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, the territory is beautiful. Thank you team Villa Nichesola, we look forward to staying with you again!

Nothing, really. The only issue with our stay was that we were there only for one night. Next time in Italy, we are staying for at least three. Villa Nichesola is amazing.

The surroundings of the accommodation were beautiful and especially the pool area was wonderful. During our stay there were only a few other people in the pool so we could swim almost in our own peace. We stayed in a spacious apartment with two toilets which was a luxury. There was also a restaurant next to the accommodation which was nice. We were able to park our car inside the gates.

We couldn't get hot water from the shower at all. Some of the dishes were not completely clean. The apartment had a dishwasher and a washing machine but unfortunately no detergents. Salt, pepper and oil were also missing which I think should be part of this level accommodation.

Lovely country house setting. Rooms very cool and spacious. Air conditioning a real bonus. Plenty of places to sit either in sunshine or shade. Restaurant very modern but for more traditional Italian food there is a restaurant which is very good close by. Verona close…. About 15 minute drive. Soave also close by and really worth visiting.

A swimming pool was available which is really lovely but it is a municipal pool . It didn’t bother us too much but we didn’t use it as much as we usually do

We had a great time at Villa Nichesola! The room was great, the pool was magnificent (as temperatures were as high as 35° C and more, this is important), the pool was not crowded at all, and there was the bar in the garden, where you got a wonderful and not 'Italian style' breakfast or dinner and drinks all day. This is a description of our stay that might not differ from other comments, also at other locations. Now comes the real difference: the staff! I have never experienced such a kindness, helpfulness, with one word: friendliness, as in this house. Everybody from the staff was really extremely caring and supportive, always in a good mood and not at the edge of their capacities. All the time we felt they are not only doing their job but they like to be there. In my opinion this makes the real difference: you can have nice locations at many places in the world and this one is really a wonderful small paradise, we recommend it without restrictions; what made us feel really good far above expectations was the people working there. Thanks to everybody there who made our stay unforgettable!

The villa was traditional and gorgeous, the garden and pool area were so pretty, staff were all wonderful and friendly and the location was perfect for us - we visited local towns, Venice , Verona and Lake Garda (by car). Restaurant was great with tasty fresh food. We will be back to explore some less touristy towns and for a relaxing break at some point.

An amazing Oasis, if ever you dreamt of having a small romantic family Wedding, reunion, or getaway this is Verona's best-kept secret resort Villa! We found absolutely everything we wanted the accommodations are stunning like that of another era, the amazing staff brings it to life and the best part is that staying here is a community experience. They offer breakfast and food throughout the day and that is just enough food to keep you there but alas wanting to venture a little and get out for dinner on some nights. While we were there the owners put together a Wine Tasting, A local catered BBQ, and music filled the evenings with enough people for us to enjoy. Yes, the music plays until midnight, but it is all done with respect and afterall to ignite the visitors in a festive way! We enjoyed our four days, and three nights as a family of three with a beautiful 15-year-old daughter who enjoyed not only the pool but the fact that vacationing here she saw and appreciated having local youth having a magical place to retreat and enjoy the summer days and evenings. Definitely on our wish list to return... Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Rather than saying what I did not like; I would recommend having a little gift package including earplugs, with a clear indication of the hours the music and entertainment will end at. This offers a great option for light sleepers.

Amazing owner, with great sense of respect to privacy. Amazing property, ambience, view, intimacy, pool.

We stayed on the ground floor. No mosquito net, cross ventilation was difficult if we wanted to avoid aircon. Mattress on the soft side, wouldn't enjoy for longer stays.
