We went to Diamante for the Pepperoncini Festival(well worth the visit just for that) and just needed a place to stay. Hotel Ferretti was a pleasant surprise that exceeded our expectations considerably. The hotel and rooms were immaculate, we had rooms with large balconies overlooking the ocean, and it was a 10 minute walk to the center of town. The hotel caters mostly to European travelers and we were the only Americans but every staff member was very gracious and helpful even with a bit of a language challenge. The hotel has a private beach which included complimentary umbrella and beach chairs and a bar/restaurant is on the beach, as well. There are also other incredible beaches nearby and would recommend having a car if possible.

Staff was very nice and accommodating, they provided everything we asked. Breakfast was good, bedroom was good with a very nice terrace with great sea view, which had seating and big parasol to enjoy. Beach in front with lounges, nice and calm. Had dinner at the restaurant one night, very good food and service, just keep in mind it’s a limited menu. Location is good, not as close to the centre but definitely walkable, you do have to walk a bit through the road, however being low season it was fine. Car park very convenient and always available (this could be due to not being high season yet). Would definitely repeat 😊 thanks for a lovely stay!

Someone upstairs kept moving chairs or furniture about 2am in the morning and we could hear it very loud, also smoking which meant we had to close our window. This was not the hotels fault but just to have in mind!

Visiting to attend a family wedding nearby, we booked 4 rooms. Very elegant, spacious, air conditioned foyer with quirky artwork. Nice bar and bar staff were happy to serve us late at night. All allocated bedrooms were spacious, immaculately clean, well-equipped with fridge, safe, hairdryer, toiletries, etc. Cleaners swept & mopped the tiled bedroom floor daily. Although we'd requested a room on a high floor,,we were actually delighted with our room on the ground floor, near the pool, easy reach of the restaurant, with patio and outdoor furniture to enjoy our breakfasts. All staff very kind, helpful & friendly. Although no menu to be found anywhere showing daytime snacks, the restaurant staff quickly provided sandwiches upon request. On the last day I mislaid our car key and the Reception staff kindly informed the restaurant staff who then very kindly allowed us to have a hearty breakfast even though they'd closed. Lovely spacious pool with plenty of loungers, reclining chairs and parasols. Nice coastline just across the road.

Hotel facilities list states 'iron available' but it is literally just one iron and no ironing board so it was quite hard work ironing men's shirts and wedding suits on the bed, especially under duress knowing that other wedding guests wanted to use the iron too. It would be handy if there was a menu to show what snacks and sandwiches are available during the day.

We love this hotel, our second visit and hopefully will go again. The staff are friendly a the place is spotless. Great Aperol Spritz and Pina Coladas! Prices are good too. Just across the road from the beach and the beautiful clear water of the sea and 15 minute walking distance to the centre of Diamante.

The breakfasts were filling, but unfortunately this year the dinner menu was not so good and we only ate there one evening. Also if you don't like fish or pasta there is not much to offer.

What we liked: -nice pool -rooms were nice and very clean -the beach was also very pretty There is a very great restaurant near to the hotel its called “Le Sirene Ristorante”, would highly recommend it, the food is amazing, prices are great and the staff is very nice. Would not recommend the restaurant in the hotel.

What we did not like: -the breakfast: there was not much to choose from to be honest, in a 4* hotel I would expect better for example no fork to be found, coffee was also pretty bad to be honest, there were absolutely no vegetables-literally nothing. We would just overall expect more when staying in a 4* hotel when it comes to breakfast. - one night we ordered two cocktails unfortunetly they were horrible

Breathtaking views of the beach and beautiful sunsets. The hotel is spotless. The AC keeps the room nice and cool in the hot summer months. The beach is just across the street but it can be reached through the underground pathway (no need to cross the street). Breakfast is included and it’s quite good consisting of croissants with an array of jam, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee, cappuccino, juices, pastries and fruit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Piergiorgio was exceptional! He went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. He took great care of us and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended! Would love to go back!

It would be nice to have a bigger shower but generally showers are small in Italy

Air conditioning excellent, reception staff very helpful, lovely big room with terrace and sea view. Beautiful location

No sidewalk to walk safely into town for 50m with a very dangerous bend. It wasn’t clear at breakfast if it was self service; there is a buffet but staff were serving some of the items! No tea and coffee facilities in room. You will need some basic Italian to get the most out of your stay.

Overall, the hotel provides a great place for a family visit. We enjoyed the overall decor, the nice-sized pool and chance to use the tennis court; the beach, while rocky, had nice water and it was shallow enough to swim/snorkel pretty far out. The views from the La Pagoda restaurant were to die for. The front desk and restaurant staff were all very helpful, and most knew enough English to make up for our complete lack of Italian. We also made use of the fitness room which was decent. Appreciated the free parking as well, and our rooms, while without any view, still were a nice size and the beds were comfy. It was quiet and peaceful, too.

Wish we could have had enough chairs on the beach for all 5 of us, rather than 2/room. The beach is a bit rocky so having water shoes is key. The water was a lovely temperature. No complaints otherwise.

- proximity to the sea - rooms are spacious and clean - furnitures are new

- entertainment to be improved: organise events at the beautiful swimming pool, add services such as beverages to the swimming pool area - improve the area bar: a person should be dedicated, enlarge the offer adding some selection of ice creams and give nibbles with cocktails - use outdoor facilities: when in vacation on the seaside people like to stay outside, so you should allow people to have lunch/dinner outside, not only for breakfast

I had a perfect time at Hotel Ferretti. The staff was very polite and helpful, especially since I was making an effort to speak Italian, which is not my native language. The breakfast was tasteful but straightforward, which I had every day at the hotel. Unfortunately, I only had dinner at the hotel once. Nevertheless, I found it much better than some nearby restaurants, which contradicts some of the reviews mentioned on the Booking or Trivago website. In addition, I had the opportunity to use the Beach in front of the hotel, which was relatively clean for April. I had a huge room, and it was a total steal for the price I paid for seven days.

I understand that this might be part of the natural phenomena, but if the hotel could remove some of the rocks in front of "La Pagoda" since they make it hard to enter the water, that would be perfect. Otherwise, people would need to walk a few minutes to do so.
