The grounds, the house, the staff who were very helpful and friendly. That the hotel was helpful to set up some excursions in the area and to the volcano itself (as we were very interested in getting to the top of mount vesuvio). The restaurant was great! Good selection of wine and the best breadsticks ever. Fine dining and expensive of course, but an amazing experience to try!

We liked it all! But just so you are aware the hotel is a car/taxi ride outside of Naples, in the next 'area' so it may be hard to get to places, although the hotel has a shuttle service to their closest train station which is very helpful- as we did a day trip to Pompeii etc.

the facility and surrounding grounds were impeccable. great decor and a most peaceful setting. Dinner at the restaurant was off-the-charts. of our 18 days on vacation in Italy, then a cruise including Turkiye and Greece, this meal stood out as one of the finest in all areas - food, presentation, AND service. Hat's off!

After arriving home and reviewing the charges, there may have been a small discrepancy with an 8/27 bar tab. The order included one Nastro Azzurro Peroni (7 euro) and a juice dring for my wife with no alcohol as she was taking medication. However, on the receipt, the charge shows as "I Cocktail Analcol ICI Del Barm ( 9 euro) . I question whether I was charged for charged for an alcohol mixed drink ? (Details at the bottom of the receipt show as " *EE = Esclusa 27/08/23 09:45 DOC.N.1332-008 RT96MEV074962). Other than that, it would be nice if the pool were open a bit longer into the evening.

We had two members of staff who were exceptional. One was Andre’s and the other was Pasquale, we couldn’t of asked for better staff and without them our experience at the hotel wouldn’t of been so wonderful.

Some staff were quite rude with their attitudes towards myself and my girlfriend when we reported a problem with ants in our bedroom and our bed, we reported it twice and got quite a cutting attitude the second time we reported the issue.

The receptionist, Francesco, was very helpful, and we appreciated the shuttle service provided by the hotel as it is very remote from the town and up a very big hill. The hotel is in beautiful grounds with great views of Vesuvius and across to Naples, and is in a very quiet location. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is located a long way out of Ercolano town and there is minimal public transport to it. We relied on the hotel provided shuttle bus but the last pick up was 6pm and if you miss it it’s a €15 taxi or a long walk from central Ercolano to the hotel.

great location, accommodation in a beautiful park, the main building combines history with the present, the great pool was a joy, unfortunately only open until 18:30. breakfast excellent, hot breakfast with extra charge the rooms in the depandance where we stayed were of good quality and tastefully furnished, only the small cellar window near the ceiling surprised us, a hatch that opens; a note at the accommodation is indicated, but somehow we could not imagine it

the resort is an oasis an an otherwise unremarkable suburb the noise from weddings could go late into the night we recommend guests be shown to San Giorgio a crémano (1.5 km walk) for more options . there are few safe pedestrian paths which makes people reliant on overpriced taxis

The staff were all excellent,the room a junior suite with 2 balconies was great.The pool was lovely with a pool bar. The shuttle bus was a must for the station

It was like an oasis in the middle of a run down area.There was nowhere to walk in the evening to a restaurant or bar. It didn’t bother us but there was a wedding every day and I would think if you had a room out the back of the hotel the music was very loud until about 11pm

Breakfast was wonderful. Many choices and gluten free options if I asked. The property is beautiful! The surrounding neighborhood is not anywhere I would want to walk. Outside the fences of the property are some very deteriorating areas. But the property itself is very large with plenty of space to roam.

Parking is very far from the hotel. The shuttle was not always available to take us to/from our car. Restaurant was overpriced for dinner.

This was our last night in Italy after a 2 week holiday. Everything was exception and far exceeded our expectations. We arrived mid-afternoon, hungry and wet from rain. They arranged a special lunch for us even though the dining room was closed. It was the best focaccia ever, fresh and delicious. I really can’t describe how fantastic the staff was, they went above and beyond at all times. My only regret is that we were only there for one night. There was a wedding that evening and we were treated to a lovely fireworks show over the waterfall. It really is a special place. Clean and very comfortable. The Naples airport was easy to get to. Lovely place that I highly recommend!

The staff was superb. They really cateted to our needs. The breakfast was fantastic. We choose to stay with what was free and it was perfect. The grounds and pool were lovely.

There was no written info that it would cost double taxi fare to get.to the place given it is outside the Napoli center.. It would be helpful to.have that up front along with cheaper options like the train. While I appreciated how quiet and secluded the property was, the neighborhood was not walkable. There we were no nearby restaurants or shops. Our room was on the first floor and each day there was a wedding. The music was quite loud.
