This is a magical location and hotel. We could watch everything in the piazza and the view is stunning. Close the shades for dark and quiet sleeping, and to keep the room cool when you’re not there. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were so warm and caring. After days walking around Rome, being able to step outside this hotel and be five minutes at most from everything was phenomenal. Well worth the money! If stairs are a mobility problem just tell the front desk as older places in Florence often have many just to reach reception.

The lady in the front was very kind and friendly. She helped us in the mornings a lot and then the lady in the afternoon was very helpful too. She booked us a taxi for the next day. The location was very nice too. The room were cleaned.

We didn't like the fact that we had a fan because the air conditioning wasn't working and we weren't told. We just found out when we entered the room and it was extremely hot. When we tried to turn on the A/C it didn't worked.

Location was perfect with wonderful views of the square! We really enjoyed our stay!

Would have preferred breakfast to be in a common area and not in our individual rooms but breakfast quality was very good. We were told when booking a reservation for 2 couples that our rooms would be next to each other. That was not the case after following up on this several times. My only point is that this should not have been offered if it couldn't be delivered upon. However, the rooms were great, and we had a wonderful time. It did not detract from our wonderful experience.

Claudia, the manager, treated us well. Location is great. Apartment was clean, and comfy.

when we were leaving, I came down with my son and some bags. I forgot the key to the main door of the building to get back to the apartment to pick up the rest of the bags, so I rang the doorbell to get back in. Claudia, the manager was not there yet. The lady who opened the door was the one who serves the breakfast. I went up and brought down the rest of the bags. As I was leaving, the lady told me to not ring the doorbell again because it would ring in every apartment....(kind of odd).

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was quite comfortable and had a superb view of the Piazza and it’s fountain. The windows were doubled paned and kept out the city noises. Breakfast was brought to our room and coffee and fresh fruit were excellent. Very centrally located!

No elevator and we had to pull our suitcases up a steep flight of stairs—not for the elderly or handicapped.

We had a wonderful stay, so close to the Palazzo Vecchio and the Gallerie degli Uffizi and many other sights in Florence/Firenze. The room faced the Piazza della Signoria, and we were treated to several concerts held there during our stay. The breakfast was satisfactory, with a selection of toasts, croissants, jams and coffee, boiled egg and coffee, yogurts and also some fruit. The fruit could have been less ripe, and we did not get any juice the second morning. Claudia in the reception was welcoming and gave us some handy pointers for places to see and things to do. Grazie, Claudia! Arrivederci, Firenze! We will be back!

The hotel is a very well renovated building from 1700 (as staff said). It is beautiful and clean; Staffs are very kind. The best thing about it is its place. You will stay in the heart of Florence. Not close to, inside the city center. The view from your window (rooms facing the square) is the central part of the city.

The height of the ceiling might be problematic if you are tall and want to stay for a long time. The ceiling is low, and it might be problematic if you have claustrophobia like me.

Francesca and Vanessa were wonderful , attentive and very accommodating. The breakfast and food offered were very good. That was a 10! The room is very neat and has everything we needed!

The bathroom and shower need a deep cleaning. The shower and bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing. Also would have appreciated a change of towels more often.

The location was awesome! Right outside the front entrance is a beautiful square full of outdoor dining and amazing historical statues. This place is very old and probably has tons of history. I wish I had time to learn more. Super easy to access different touristy spots. Walking is the best way to get around.

I didn't like the walk from the train. It is wall to wall people and we were a large group with tons of luggage. This is NO reflection on the rooms. Everywhere we went our maps told us 5-10 minute walk. True, but it was rough.

I stayed at 4th floor without elevator. The shower water was lukewarm. There were bugs on the sofa bed, and my body itched. There were no windows facing the plaza.
