We chose this hotel for it's location away from the historic center of Florence and for the facilities. It was a great decision. The staff were all extremely polite and helpful and the facility lived up to the pictures (for a change!) which included a wonderful breakfast each morning. 20 minutes walk to the Florence's main attractions, was a lovely way to start each day. Overall a wonderful week in Florence and our best holiday in Italy to date.

The only slight issues was the upper rooms in the new building didn't have a lift facility, so if you have heavy luggage and you are located in a room on the top floor, you have to lift the bags down the stairs. Of course I could have asked for help from the hotel, but I didn't want to trouble them. They did of course carry them up for me on arrival, so that wasn't a problem.

Wish there are more bread and breakfast items to choose from, yet the cereal croissants are the best I ever had. French bakeries shd make such kind of healthy croissants, not greasy!

Well, the first time we were in Rm 201, bath shower was impeccably clean, but this time there are bits of dark spots in the corners, also the lower part of the shower glass door is dirty. Maybe a serious cleaning product shd be applied to remove all the unsightly dark spots. Likewise in the the bath shower in Rm 506 where we were assigned for 2 nights, the corners really need new caulk, nauseating to look at it, esp for a clean freak like me. Very friendly and obliging reception staff especially Mattia, hats-off to him for his exceptional assistance. Wish all hotel staffs are like him👏👏👍

Location is about 20 minute walk from the centre, but in retrospect, it was better for us as we had a car and they had parking at the hotel. You cannot drive into the centre as its a ZTL zone and you need a permit. Breakfast was great, continental and warm food if you want it. Rooms are lovely and clean, comfy beds and good air conditioning. the bathroom was lovely, clean and had a large shower. there are very good quality products available for you to use., (Aqua Di Parma). Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The Spa was fabulous too, perfect to relax after a hectic day sightseeing. I would return here if I came back to Firenze. :)

There isn't anything to not like about the hotel.

A delightful property with excellent facilities including a spa and gym, a very comfortable lounge and a courtyard. Although the location is not right in the centre of Florence, it is not an arduous walk to the major attractions and there are some good restaurants and cafes and an ATM near the hotel. Florence’s main railway station, Santa Maria Novella, is also within fairly easy reach on foot. The hotel provides a good breakfast and the staff are very professional, courteous and helpful. We spent four nights at the Palazzo Lorenzo Boutique Hotel & Spa and were extremely pleased with our choice.

There was nothing significant to dislike.

Beautiful building with excellently fitted bathroom, nice sitting out area at the back. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Pleasant helpful staff in particular the female receptionist

Location is not in the centre but a 30 minute walk therefrom. There are lots of roadworks which make this an unattractive route.. There is however a good network of local taxis who turn up promptly.. There is not a bar so f you return and fancy a drink before retiring there is only the min bar,

The room was extremely nice, well furnished and calmly neutral. The bathroom was spacious and stylish, with a large walk in shower Breakfast was fresh and very good with a great selection Decor all over the hotel was charming, sophisticated and interesting The Spa is a great attraction and is very pleasant with sauna and steam rooms and 2 jacuzzi pools with calm soothing ambiance. I will definitely return here.

Pillows are a bit uncomfortable - too hard. my room was very hot, i could not adjust the temperature, nor could i switch off the towel heater. i had to open the window, but as it was very cold in Florence, by morning it was too cold in the room i found that the policy of having only one room/ couple use the spa at any time very restrictive and therefore the time slots very few especially in the early evening. It is a large space with 2 jacuzzi pools a sauna and steam room, and one does not expect sole use of such spa facilities, indeed i have never seen this in any other hotels. I understand this was because of Covid, but restrictions have now changed, and i believe 2 rooms could share the space without issue.

I liked the hotel a lot. We chose it because of its proximity to my business meeting point and because it has facilities for disabled persons. The hotel is wheelchair accessible from the garden and the bathroom is also disabled friendly. The breakfast was very good and we had the best home-made cakes in Florence. We particularly loved the common living room and having breakfast in the garden when the weather permitted and Alexandra was wonderful. We also should thank the reception staff, particularly Andrea. Our room was not very large but it was on the ground floor and quiet. There is no room service in the hotel but there is a coffee/tea maker and guests can order in-room breakfast and beverages.

We had an issue with the sliding shower door because it was not well designed and always leaked. The pillows were not very comfortable and I saw a spider web on the ceiling:) Housekeeping can be improved.

Smart boutique hotel. Worth all its 4 stars. Seamless check in. We were early and left our bags at reception. We were welcomed to sit in the court and supplied with lots of coffee. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Our room was on the ground floor and had all the amenities described. We asked for an iron and board. Lovely spa toiletries. Breakfast was good, not extensive but plenty enough of good fresh food. Alexandra was there to keep us well looked after. The spa is worth using. Two jacuzzi baths, dry and steam saunas, power shower and relaxation areas. This was inclusive in our room rate and has to be booked ahead. You get sole use for 50 minutes. Location is ideal for walking into town, about 20 minutes walk and near to most of the main tourist hotspots. San Marco monastery is quite near, by the bus station. It's well worth a visit. A quiet haven to walk round the cloisters and see the frescoes and monks cells individually decorated. The hotel has aids for anyone with restricted mobility or disability issues. Lifts on stairs, walk in shower with seat and hand rails. It has a lovely courtyard surrounded with trees and plants, it's well tended to and a delight to sit in or eat breakfast.

Nothing. It's a pleasant walk into town but you might need a taxi if limited mobility.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and breakfast was lovely.

The hotel was a little further out than we had realised which meant a bit of a walk to get to the main attractions. The spa was lovely, however both Jacuzzis were not very hot but more like pool temperature. We also had an issue with the sauna not being on/hot when we had our 50min booking in the spa, but the staff came and fixed it fairly quickly.

We opted to take taxi to see most places as we were very short on time. Otherwise, the tram is at the end of the road, air conditioned and take you within a decent proximity of the main attractions. The staff were absolutely brilliant, Veronica at reception in particular went above and beyond to help us arrange transport and a lovely surprise for my wife on arrival. The spa was lovely, clean and very tranquil. You have to book your time in (1 hour per day) either the previous day or try on the day itself, but we never had an issue with this and you get to enjoy the spa to yourselves privately.

By my own fault, I thought the hotel was a bit closer to the city center but it was of no real inconvenience. Taxi gets you there in 10mins (€12) and tram will take approx 20/25mins (€1.50 per person)
