We stayed in one of the apartments down the street from the hotel. The property had ample parking and the apartment itself was very spacious. The apartment was well equipped for cooking our own food. On nights where we were too tired to cook we ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious. Location was convenient to other parts of the Dolomites, as well as catching the bus to the base of the trails nearby. Check-in was quick and easy, very friendly and helpful explaining everything we could do in the area.

We were under the impression we could pay for breakfast by day and wanted to only on the last day before checkout. There was confusion on whether that was possible and ended up getting charged an arbitrary amount because they couldn’t get a hold of someone who might know better. Just FYI if you are to do the same, ask for clarification upon arrival.

Lovely hotel in a quaint village. Very close to the bus stop, delicious food and friendly smiley staff. We stayed in one of their apartments which is a 5-10 min walk from the main building and that was a little bit of a hassle but the staff were accommodating in case we wanted to bring a hot meal home with us after a long day of hiking.

The only trouble we had was at breakfast time - if you dont stay in the main building and don’t pre-order breakfast you run the risk of being turned away for having seats available. The choice you have is rather limited too. There aren’t any other places in the village to get breakfast, so pre-order or make your own breakfast.

It was my 3rd time here (previously this was Gasthof Edelweiss) - discovered that it's been taken over by a new management few years back. Hanes and every staff were friendly and welcoming. I was assigned a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and valley - was given a pass for free bus ride. I booked 4-nights with half-board. Breakfast spread was good. The 3-course dinner was absolutely delicious and varied each night - could see lots of effort and heart put into its preparation, a joyful dining experience! Wishing Hanes and your team continue the great job in what you do. Hope to return again!

We stayed in the apartments and really liked this option. It was nice to be able to cook some meals to save money, with a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk away. We had a nice little balcony with some views of the mountains. It was small, but cozy. Would stay again. Also, Santa Magdalena is located close to many hiking trail options.

Hotel Fines is a bit expensive, but that just seems to be the case with the entire area.

The staff are amazing. As I travelled by myself and were unsure about lots of things (including the name of the hotel), they guided me step by step and answered lots of my stupid questions. The location is very convenient. It is close to the bus stop and walkable distance to the viewpoints of both churches. Breakfasts are tasty with local supplies. Food is delicious and reasonable. The restaurant is of a friendly vibe that draws many people in. Highly recommended for others

The view from the balcony was amazing! Very nice location if you want to hike in the mountains. The managers were very nice and friendly, ready to help with any questions. The appointment was nice and clean with a small kitchen and dining area. Also nice for a longer stay. The small shop was 300m from the apartment. Free parking

The bad could be a bit short for taller people, but it is bright enough for two persons and the mattress is comfortable.

Excellent Location, Very friendly and helpful staff as well as the property owners. Definitely would recommend this place . Ski area is just a few mins walk from the property. They also gave us a free pass for where we could use the ski lift, discount on ski equipments as well thius pass was valid for public transport. Alacarte dinner options were very good.

Everything was very good, Maybe the breakfast options could be little better with some bread varieties and maybe some warm meal.

The room was clean and had a very nice view. It had all the necessary things. Location is nice, in the middle of the hiking trail. Zans national park is just few minutes away by car.

The apartment is rather small, also I'm not super happy about the extra cleaning fee for bringing the pets. From my experience it's common in the hotels, but in the apartments it's most commonly not the thing.

Friendly, helpful staff, immaculately clean room, unbeatable location, right in the heart of the village. I was given lots of info about the area on arrival, and the free bus pass was a great addition! More affordable than other hotels in the area.

Worth noting that the apartments are not actually at the site of the hotel, but about a five minute walk down the village. Separately, I could have done with a mirror in my room - there was only one in the bathroom.

Review is regarding apartment only, haven’t seen hotel rooms so cannot comment but apartment itself is very outdated, pillows and bed is extremely uncomfortable, overall place looked like it was done in 50s and never updated once. Balcony was dirty.
