Nice toiletries and very clean rooms. Nice firm bed with a nice softer topper. Very very good water pressure and temperature for hand and rain shower. Location was great for food and visiting old town. Off peak season had the ZTL off and one could park right up front of the hotel. Very nicely decorated hotel. Gave us a room upgrade to one with balcony over seeing the pedestrians. nice receptionist that always greeted us and great ladies who served us at breakfast. Breakfast selection was wonderful, especially the bruschetta and fresh fruits (persimmon) was a plus. There is a mini mart around the corner.

Parking is scarce and would probably have to wait till 4pm after the lunch crowd to find a slot. Could provide free water during our stay, the only hotel that didn’t provide us water. Otherwise, could leave the water dispenser at the cafe available for self refill.

Everything about our two night stay was wonderful! From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were in a special place. Once a monastery, then a prison, this boutique hotel retains its historic character (including original cast iron prison cell doors!) while providing an upscale experience. Each corner and wall is graced with tasteful and inviting antiques; every floor has a sitting area where you can sink into a wonderfully welcoming velvet sofa. The staff are absolutely lovely and ultra helpful. Silvia at the front desk was so sweet and gave us excellent suggestions for where to eat, as well as running across the street to an affiliated restaurant to get baking soda and salt for the fresh red wine stain on my blouse (yes, it came out as a result!). And then there’s the breakfast buffet…wow! Absolutely delish! So much variety and top notch quality. The croissants couldn’t have been fresher if they had come directly from Paris. And to make it even more fantastic, they served it on their rooftop terrace on the second day we were there. What a spectacular view of the sea!

While we loved that our room was situated in the original historic part of the hotel, and its design was simple but serene, it felt a bit austere and dark. We had a small window that faced the interior courtyard so not a lot of natural light made it into the room. But hey, that certainly contributed to the sense of staying in a former monastery/prison.

Super delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Very service minded and helpful staff. Super good bathroom with lots of space in the shower area. At the edge of the old town - with lots of restaurants. Super view of the sea from the rooftop terrasse.

Our room was a bit more standard than I expected from the the pictures at booking.com No parking in the area - you are allowed to drop your bags off, but then you have to drive out of the historic area to park the car.

It is a very nice hotel - the room was very nice and also clean. The Staff was always very friendly and kind and also the view to the see is great - It this time of the year (31. Okt) it was even possible to go by car right in front of the hotel and there were also free parking spaces on the street, very close (this is not possible during the summer due to ZTL) We are already considering to come again next year.

Our room overlooked the Gallipoli sea. It was a very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Breakfast on the rooftop was a special treat. The hotel is very charming. Several good restaurants are nearby. A parking spot was provided by the hotel with a designated driver to help go to the parking garage.

We took a boat tour with the help of the hotel concierge. I just hope they'd d offer a better provider, with better boats. I also found the port area to be very dirty. It was the first time I saw so much dirt in Puglia. They should force the municipality to keep tourist areas in better shape.

Great location overlooking the sea in the old town, beautifully modernised, lovely roof terrace for the excellent breakfast. Exceptional, friendly and helpful staff.

No parking in old town, though hotel gives 10 minute permit for unloading/loading luggage, then you have to park outside the old town. The hotel offers a fee-paying space in a private garage 900 metres away, but parking spaces very narrow and hard to manoeuvre into, so we found it easier to park on a meter on the quayside and top up during our stay.

Everything was great. The people at check-in were so nice. The room was great, and the view was amazing. The women running breakfast were so accommodating since we didn't have time to sit and eat. Adele helped us with a boat tour that was excellent. There was another women who helped us with our safe/passport problem. Which we are grateful for. However, I can't remember her name. A big thank you!

That we had to leave.

Excellent location. Very professional and helpful staff. Our car was parked in front of the hotel and moved when necessary by the staff. Loved the breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. In high season I believe it becomes a bar in the evening. Though we were able to order drinks from the restaurant to watch the sun set one evening. Good restaurant overlooking the sea across the road. Spotlessly clean. Tastefully decorated.

Rubbery / plasticity mattress protection that squeaked whenever we moved!

The service from the staff was impeccable. Silvia and Giovanna helped us with everything we needed from booking taxis, lidos, restaurants, everything. Our flight was delayed so we ended up arriving quite late and they made sure we had transportation all the way from the airport so we weren’t stranded! The breakfast staff were always so friendly and remembered my usual order everyday. The highlight of the hotel was having breakfast on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the sea.

The bathroom was quite spacious however the shower was very small so I bashed my arms on the walls a bit. It wasn’t the most nice smelling bathroom so I think a scent diffuser would be helpful.

Perfect location, great rooftop space to watch the sunset, good breakfast, walking distance to everything, fabulous beach close by. 24 hr reception.

For some reason breakfast was served downstairs and no rooftop bar was open. Seemed such a waste of an amazing space. We were able to take our own drinks up there though.
