The room was modern and clean, we had a balcony which was spacious. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, great coffee as well! There was evening entertainment by a local band on different locations throughout the resort almost every night with a different vibe. The cocktails served in every bar were very well made and the different restaurants offered great dinner buffet for 35€‎ per person! We were especially impressed by the newly open La Casa del Massaro Restaurant which served local Sicilian dishes in an elegant, candle-lit setting. Loved the olympic pool for recreational swimming! The staff at the reception and the concierge services were super friendly and helpful. ‎

The private beach comes at an additional price of around 20€ per person per day, which kinda beats the point of staying at a hotel with a private beach. We expected it to be free for the hotel's guests. Also there are tons of ‎mosquitos in the evening and early morning - this ruined some of our evenings where we tried to enjoy a cocktail at one of the bars but it was made impossible so we had to return to our room early. There was a "disinsectation" announced on our last day but I think that should be done more regularly to ensure pleasant stay for the hotel's guests. Also be prepared that the bed mattresses are exceptionally firm so if you aren't used to that you might wake up with a lot of back pain!

Very comfortable family room in a separate building, the kids loved having their own room. Hotel is very well taken care of even we were there in the off season. Staff super friendly and accommodating (particular word of praise for Sandra B. at the reception, who was tireless in taking care of our many requests. A lot of very clean pools.

Rooms are a bit far from the reception/breakfast area. Not a great hotel if the weather's not good as it is clearly a resort hotel and a bit isolated even from Giardini Naxos - if you stay there in bad weather I strongly recommend having a car, otherwise there's not much to do. If you plan to go to the beach bring rubber shoes as the pebbles are painful

A very good hotel for relaxation and peace( in April). It has modern and clean rooms with a beautiful garden, a swimming pool, a rich breakfast and professional staff. The Recanati interbus station is close, 10 minutes walking, so, it s convinient to take the bus to go around and from airport to the hotel. I will come back again! :)

The bar is expansive, it is far away to walk to Taormina, but you can take a bus, 40 minute.

We were with 2 kids and had an appartment in an annex. It was clean. The beach is clean and nice, but it’s a stone one. We’ve tried the buffet restaurant in one night and was good. We also tried the a la carte Stella restaurant and was great! I really recommend it!

The noise in the room! We could here everything from below us and was a lot of noise! We received just 2 towels, even if we had also 2 kids It was the first 4 star hotel where we had to oay for the beach towels- makes no sense! I understand to oay a deposit for it, but not a tax for it. Also the firt hotel where you have to pay on spot, not on the room.. The breakfast it’s basic, yes you have options, but more a 3 star..as you have the same options each day and small selections of tea

this hotel is perfekt for families with kids. there are alot of activities. nice pools, great beach and all sorts of tennis and playgrounds for the young ones. it is also gated from traffick and very safe for kids, so they can roam about and play. my kids had a blast looking for the cute little lizards that live inn the stone walls. it os also a relatively short walk to the bus stop that connects the atea to Taormina, Catania, the airport and all off Sicily. we came back last week (october 9). and they talt about wanting to go back all ready. we had a week of perfect weather in the beginning of october and the sea temperature was perfect. warmer than the pools.

not much, but food options could be better. that goes for the area around the hotel aswell. the Stella di mare was good though. there are good eats in Giardini Naxos and the kids loved the gelato on the hotel.

Fitness, tennis possibilities! The sea very close and almost empty in October, but we were still able to swim!

The "villa" that they offer didn't meet our expectatios at all (need to make pictures closer to the reality then you wouldn't spoil the expectation!) So, we were upset about the place we were put in BUT luckly enough the staff in the hotel is very kind and helpful, especially Giorgia who saved the situation and we did't move out to another hotel (but to the hotel room) and finally we were satisfied with our stay, there are good offer for sportive persons what to do😉 We didn't like dinner offer/choise but that is probably subjective

Breakfast is small with no variety, pillows are uncomfortable. Also there is not much to do for children, the playground is really small

the property is lovely, set in beautiful well-maintained gardens and close to the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean. Pool lady salvatoggi amazing. fab view from room of sea and Mount Etna (room 333). breakfast choices excellent.

not really 4 star. paying for towels, no slippers or robes in room. no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Having to pay for a glass of tap water from the pool bar!!! Yes, really. A pizza from one restaurant inedible. Pool did not open until 0930. I like to swim before breakfast at 0730. Noisy intrusive banging music at pool.

Beautiful garden. Unlike some comments, very good breakfast. Good air comditioning. Very nice staff. Clean bathroom. No problem with water (pressure ok, temperature ok). Bidet in bathroom - a big like :). Great olympic size pool, the other was nice too but a bit too crowded. Beach was not very crowded, great water, clean and warm. Restaurant Stella di Mare was good.

Matress old and bumpy (a valley in the middle of it). One pillow was impossible, others just not good enough. Have to pay 2 euro for towel at sea/pool. Not sure about the payment system for chaise-longues at the beach. Sone free, but far from the sea. The good ones - 32 euros for 2 sunbeds and one umbrelka. Per day. A bit too much I would say.

There is a large green park with different trees and bushes on the property. In the shade of the trees you can find tables and chairs to hide from the heat with a drink, which can be taken at the hotel bar. There were always available sunbeds in the large pool even during rush hour. Excellent private beach. Although the sunbeds on the beach are not included in the price, there is an area with free sunbeds and umbrellas - just reserve a spot before visiting the beach. There is a concierge at the hotel, who will help both to book a place on the beach, and organize transfers to and from Taormina, as well as tell you all about excursions. The bus stop is a 15 minute walk away.

Lack of variety at breakfast. Some homemade desserts changed, but the rest is the same from day to day. There are few restaurants in the close to the hotel, we had to go to the center of Giardini Naxos to get to good dining establishments. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening in the outdoor restaurants of the hotel (does not apply to the main building).
