The style of hotel is unique with it being spread out within the village. The staff are outstanding, Paul makes everyone feel so welcome and it's obvious that he has a great rapport with the staff. The restaurant was one of our favourites in Italy and I wish we had stayed longer so we could have tried more of the food. We did the cooking class which was a lot of fun and Delfina is so passionate about her food - it's obvious why the restaurant is so good. On our last night we had dinner at the poolside BBQ which was amazing. It was one long table and we were able to eat with the other guests who we'd had the occasional chat with during our stay, but this dinner really allowed us to connect further - so fun! We spent a lot of time by the beautiful pool relaxing which is just what we needed at the end of a busy holiday exploring other parts of Italy.

It felt like being in a fairytale! The gorgeous surroundings and the quiet, beautifully kept village turned into a hotel, it was enchanting.

Staying here is like a fairy tale. The location is so small and beautiful and yet extremely luxurious and spacious. This is because you can look away at small villages that have been built in the distance and beautiful fields and beautiful areas of greenery in between. The team consists of a very good kitchen, very friendly service and cleaning and of course Paul the manager. All of them busy taking care of the travelers and is extremely helpful. Points of improvement? ZERO! Thank you for this wonderful week!

a set of new pans and cleaning products in the kitchen would be great. And a manual on how the washing machine, oven and dishwasher work. But its just a small thing...

Stunning location. Magical views. Rooms spotlessly clean and contemporary and stylish. We LOVED that there was no TV in our room… the vibes at Aethos encouraged you to slow down and relax, which is what we needed. The staff were faultless. Friendly, kind, approachable, nothing was too much trouble. The staff always wanted to help us when needed. The restaurant was so special. Eating on the terrace, the views, the thunder behind my partners head! Like a fairytale.

It’s not that we didn’t like this, we feel there could be a small bar/ snack bar down by the pool. Every part of the hotel was so well thought out, however we felt the room where you get your drinks from the little fridge could be elevated to match the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel.

We had a really wonderful stay at Aethos Saragano. The setting is beautiful, the pool area is well laid out and it is a great size pool (albeit a bit of a walk down the hill). The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of and we loved the restaurant (both for the views and the food). A very nice breakfast in the morning and then could book in for a 'family' lunch if you liked which was very nice and then delicious a la carte dinners on the terrace in the evening. Nice powerful air con in the rooms that saved us from the heat.

Five stars plus. Could not recommend this place enough. Our stay was simply wonderful, we enjoyed it to the fullest. This hotel ticks all the boxes: charming, spacious rooms and one of the best beds we’ve ever slept in. Not to forget: the uniquely designed soap made my skin and hair feel softer than ever. This package comes in a truly unique setting: right inside a small medieval town, overlooking the most beautiful hills of Umbria. Congrats to Paul and his team, especially the two Portuguese guys (Pedro and Guilherme). They made us feel at home, every second of our stay. Kudos to Mabel as well, she served our breakfast on our first day ;-) Even if you’re not staying at Aethos, you should swing by for a lovely dinner - the food is simply amazing. We are definitely coming back!

Aethos is a beautiful hotel nestled within the village of Saragana, with stunning views and the most delicious food we have had on this trip so far. Delphina, Pedro and Guillme in the restaurant went out of their way to make us feel comfortable- and we preferred eating in the hotel more than any of the food we had when we were out and about. Paul, who manages the property, truly went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. When we arrived on a rainy afternoon, he greeted us out on the road with umbrellas and helped us bring our stuff in. He guided us on what to do around town, and was such a delight to chat with. Aethos is lovely, but the staff is what made this stay special. Thank you!

Everything was incredible - from the staff to the restaurant, breakfast, the pool and THE VIEW. The view is worth a trip alone. Paul and the team go above and beyond to make sure your stay is exceptional. Breakfast is fantastic, served on the terrace overlooking the hills and their gorgeous pool. The pool is the perfect size with plenty of sun loungers (and sun basically all day) and trees surrounding blocking out the wind. The food at the restaurant is next level, even for vegetarians! The hotel is beautifully designed - minimal and understated, but perfect.

Could not fault a thing, the hotel was spectacular and the views were like nothing I've seen before. The staff really took the hotel to the next level, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Magical is the only way I can describe our stay and we can't wait to bring our friends and family back. Additional points, highly recommend the cooking class with Delphina, this was a highlight of our holiday! -There is access to prosecco and beers next to the swimming pool which i thought was a great touch. The food in the restaurant was also the best of our holiday!

This property is incredible. The staff, the facilities, the food, the pool and the spa are just 10/10. We were so sad to leave, and think it’s wrecked other places in Italy for us as it was so perfect! You have everything you need at your disposal, and the food for breakfast, lunch & dinner is beyond amazing. Could not recommend this place enough.
