Rosa is a fantastic host! There were 5 of us each wanting their own bed, so she put an extra bed into one large double bedroom. She let us park our motorbikes in her garage, gave us a delicious cake when we arrived, recommended and booked us into a great restaurant 5 minutes walk away (In Cuccina dai Pennisi), and the breakfast she provided was the best we had on a 25 day trip. The area is absolutely beautiful with Etna a constant presence in the background, and Rosa's place is a great place to stay. It isn't a modern hotel, and is obviously domestic in scale and nature, but is all the better for that. The shared bathroom for the 2 ground floor bedrooms is well equiped and clean.

Rosa is such a wonderful host, we felt home from the first second. she helped us with everthing, especially when our daughter needed to see a doctor she immediately made phone calls to organice everything and she was even ready to drive us to the hospital and spend all evening with us there. far beyond expectations!

Rosa is the best host that I've ever met! She made our stay in Sicily pleasant and comfortable. Very kind and friendly! The location is perfect. She cooks delicious food. And her house is clean and comfy. I would say that Sicily is worth visiting because you can meet Rosa there.

first off, the property is at the perfect location to go up to etna north side which is fantastic, also the characteristics of the property are old and magnificent. To top everything up Rosa the host, what a helpful and welcoming wonderful lady. The breakfast is to die for every morning something different and local. We recommend this place very much and rate Rosa our host 12 out of 10. 👍👍🥰

Everything was great! The best breakfast on our long trip! It was really extraordinary! Rosa is the most wonderful host! So thoughtful and warm-hearted! We checked in late in the evening and still She managed to cater gluten-free options and a vegan milk for breakfast (she kindly asked us about our preferences after we checked in). A great start of the day, after a good night sleep and with happy tummies:) The place is a fantastic base for Etna trips

Rosa was so kind, friendly, flexible, and hospitable. She makes beautiful large breakfasts and let me keep my luggage there after checkout so I could climb the volcano. So willing to help. Wonderful room, hot water, and she even did laundry for me. It felt like home ❤️

The owner was sooooooo lovely of a person. She was a gem. I got a pistachio tart as a welcome snack and it was so good. The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Local organic eggs, meats, cheese, and pastries. I ate too much and couldn't even finish it. Loved it here.

The room wasn't insulated too well, so I could hear people on the stairs. If you need complete quiet, that might affect your stay. But I didn't mind much.

Very good location for those who venture to/around Mt. Etna. Easy parking, big rooms and exceptional breakfast. The owner (Rosa) was quite nice and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

I really liked that Rosa took care of us and the memory foam bed was so comfortable. Also it is very near from the wineries on the etna so we didn't have to drive so much after wine tasting.

The apartment was spotless, Rosa was very welcoming and kind, and the breakfast she brought us was very generous. The pastries were top notch and rounded off by meat, cheese, and bruschette, along with other options.

There was some traffic noise but nothing that kept us from sleeping.
