Our stay at Cascinas Las Sesmones for 8 nights was the ideal location to enjoy day trips to Lodi, Milan, Pavia, Como, Bellagio and Bergamo. Las Sesmones is peaceful but not isolated. There is a local mall nearby which was very convenient. The grounds are walkable, beautifully maintained with plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy. Breakfast is European fare, fresh and varied. We enjoyed dinner and live music at the Ristorante after a full day of sightseeing. We recommend pretty much everything on the menu. Our rooms were clean, bright, airy with a pleasant rustic feel and clean. We had ample towels, comfortable mattresses and quiet rooms.

We had no dislikes at this property. Any customer service issues we brought to the attention of management were addressed. Service during open hours was excellent and staff are friendly. We suggested to management that restaurant staff be accommodating of guests’ requests during off hours such as access to cutlery and basic condiments. Parking is on site and enclosed. At present there is no onsite charging station for hybrid/electric cars but may be available in future.

I was here for a wedding, so I did spend in the hotel just one night. Room was clean, comfortable and the staff very kind. The place is beautiful and I was surprise it was only a 3 stars hotel, as it definitely looks a higher rating structure. The room had a kitchen and a mini bar with drinks and a couple of snacks (I didn't get anything however)

Just a 'tip': as the hotel is quite far from the city and the restaurant is obviously close outside lunch/dinner and breakfast hours, add a coffee/tea machine in the room or a vending machine somewhere might be a good addiction 🤔

This is a perfect stopover a few minutes off the Lodi junction of the A1 south of Milan. The hotel is a top quality refurbishment of traditional buildings maintained to the highest standards. It is also dog friendly with a good walk just outside alongside a canal. There is a great restaurant on site that is popular locally so needs to be booked in advance, and breakfast is very good. The night we stayed was a jazz evening ( thursdays ) with a tasting menu

Nothing, although it is a little difficult to find despite its proximity to the autostrada

Due to heavy traffic, we only checked in at the hotel very late, at 21:20 exactly. The lady at the hotel reception told us that the restaurant would still be open. Dropped our bags and rushed to the restaurant and arrived there at 21:40. Nobody really paid attention to us , so we decided after few minutes to sit down at a table and wait till somebody would serve us. At 21:50, the waitress came to us asking if we would like to drink something as the kitchen is closed as of 21:45/ 5 minutes ago ;-( ;-( ;-( Very disappointed about the customers approach. Room for improvement ;-)

The layout of the buildings - beautiful. Also so very dog-friendly. The dinner and breakfast also I enjoyed a lot. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff especially the receptionist Monia

It was a warm night but unfortunately the air-conditioning was not able to be set to issue cool air by the staff and this made getting to sleep very difficult both for myself and the dog! Fortunately I did not need to leave early the following morning.

This hotel is stunningly beautiful as it occupies the courtyard-surrounding buildings of what was once a monastery. The rooms are beautifully furnished, were recently renovated, and felt like brand new, especially the bathroom. On the premise is an excellent restaurant that serves fine Italian cuisine. We were extremely pleased with our stay at Hotel Sesmones and would gladly stay there again.

football team in the main restaurant, so we were seated in the overflow room, feeling slightly isolated. My main dish had to go back to the kitchen, and they didn’t take my husband’s meal too, so that got cold whilst mine was re prepared. No room for breakfast as the football team took over the whole place- but the staff were excellent, we sat in the lounge, and they didn’t charge us for breakfast

Clean and minimalist hotel. Quality material has been used to refurbish the place. Beds are very comfortable. Really good shower. Friendly atmosphere and restaurant of outstanding quality.

No iron in the room and wasn’t available when I asked (for safety reasons like in many hotels in Italy) Went to the restaurant with an unironed shirt.

Great location as close to A1, excellent stopover with our 2 dogs on our journey south. Restaurant was an added bonus and food was a very good standard. Good breakfast with a wide choice.

Transporting luggage from the carpark was difficult as it was quite a distance and over cobbled paving. Luggage trolleys would be a good solution.

bathrooms on the 2nd floor have roof windows with NO CURTAINS… so expect to find an unbearably over-lit and overheated bathroom in the hot season, with no escape! Not exactly what one looks forward to after travelling on a scorching hot day. I had to ask them to change room and ended up in a smaller one. Not acceptable, sorry. Fit some sliding curtains onto those roof windows!
