Fantastic facilities and exceptional view over the landscape - both from the infinity pool and beaches scattered around, perfect for romantic pick-nicks. The pool was simply awesome and offered good sunbathing opportunities too.

Staff was generally not particularly interested in attending the guests. We stayed three nights, had dinner the first, but decided not to give it a second chance the other evenings since attention was surprisingly poor, forgot some of our orders and took very long time to get it served. If you come here with a big car, you may experience some challenges at certain points. Roads are quite narrow with sharp turns.

We loved it here! The view is amazing, the villa is cute and the staff are friendly and helpful. Many of them don't speak english, but it made us better at communicating and understanding italien (we did not know a word in italien before coming here). The interior is very cute and romantic and the colors of the room were a delight for the eye. They make there own olive oil and wine, and it was amazing. We did not have a car, which made it a bit difficult to get around, but it was possible with the help from other lovely people. We are definitely coming back here!

Amazing views , pool and setting of the property. Incredibly quiet and surrounded by olive groves and rolling hills. Food was lovely both lunch and dinner options and good selection of wines etc. Nice breakfast included from 8-10 with tea coffee juices , breads pastries and cereals.

Hard to get taxis , I would recommend hiring a car due to the location. We were able to get taxis however these were hard to come by and ££ for short journeys. Marco helped get these for us and we were extremely grateful as we were under prepared for these to be hard to come by. It also didn’t help Ed Sheeran was playing in the town the weekend we were there so again made taxis few and far between. This is not related to the property though itself , there is little I could say badly about the hotel . Recommend a stay for a lovely break !

Wonderful, restful location overlooking a beautiful valley of olive groves and vineyards. The silence almost hurt! Just the song birds adding their bit of joy. The rooms were perfect and the members of staff fantastic. I am an ex Hotel and Restaurant Inspector, and if all the businesses that I have reviewed achieved this very high standard, the sector would be thriving. They produce their own wine, olives and olive oil for consumption on the premises or for buying as gifts. If you want a superb experience to remember for the rest of your life, get yourself booked in.

Nothing! I have no negatives.

Wonderful location right up in the hills. The grounds of the Hotel are also so peaceful and lovely. You can look across the hills in total peace and quiet. The manager is passionate about the history and told us about the blessed Nun who loved her time there and that Puccini had visited, he was born in Lucca. Breakfast was good we had tomatoes, mozzarella and olive oil - fresh bread - boiled egg - chocolate muesli - toast. Coffee machines with a good choice as well.

The room we had didn't have any view and was next to the outside seating area, so we got a the noise from people outside then we had the noise of them all walking past our door to their rooms. Also to motorcyclists decided to pull up right outside our window at about 10pm, they just decided to ignore the car park and ride straight up the path. The manager told them to move but they were ignorant. The WiFi was very poor and we had no phone data signal in the room we were in although outside the hotel we did.

The view from this property is absolutely magnificent. The vibe of the place is peaceful, magical and serene: imagine sitting in one of the many intimate places provided in the olives orchard, enjoying the sun and pleasant breeze looking at the fantastic view, just above the infinity pool and the old and beautifully restored monastery building enjoying one glass of cooled wine made by Villa Volpi and one of the books from their beautiful library. We had the perfect holiday here. We will return for sure. Very good, typical Italian dinner (apetizers, meat, pasta and ice cream) and breakfast (eggs, prosciutto, mozzarella caprese, home made sweets, cereal, fruit)

It took a really big effort to try and find something that I did not like but I ended up with nothing. For us, truly and honestly, was the perfect place for a romantic and restful holiday.

Beautiful location and setting, beautiful hotel. Stunning views. The infinity pool was lovely, on top of the hotel so has gorgeous views. The hotel is also not too far from other towns and got nice walks around. I can definitely recommend

The guy who owns it seems to dislike guests, appears to be shocker and disgruntled whenever he sees people and is making the stay sooo awkward... His wife is so much better at hospitality. Also the restaurant experience was embarrassing, staff very unprofessional. Honestly if they all went to some training in hospitality to make guests feel actually welcome, it would have been 10/10 place. Potential is there!

What an amazing place to stay. It’s definately a get away from it all place. If you want to be in the centre of the action this place is not for you. If you want affordable luxury. If you want to sleep next to the trees that produced the olive oil you drizzle on your salad at lunch time whilst sipping a glass of wine from the grapes grown in the next field before getting back to the pool with views over the valley then book it now.

The location is absolutely stunning. The building it's simply amazing. An old monastery which still contains many well kept features. The pool and the solarium area are the perfect place to relax and cool down in Summer.

My husband and I went there with our daughter who is 12 yrs old. The size of the extra bed in the bedroom was a bit small.

Everything. Location, staff, room, pool. We had wonderful time and we will come back. The owner told us about the history of the villa and I bought some olive oil and wine from own production. Infinity pool set in beautiful location. Tasty breakfast. My kids and I, we had wonderful time. Thank you. :)
