We attended an event near by. In the hostel they were very nice and were able to accomodate our early check-in. It was easy enough to find a parking place. The hostel is right in the centre. Its ex convent attached to local church with a lovely playground for kids in the front and fantastic view of the valley. Even on Sunday we were able to find breakfast with vegan pastry in a nearby coffee place.

In November there is no heating, it did not bother us since we only slept there (one night).

Ex-monastery, it's big and in a quiet area, close to a park and to a great view. The center of the small town is very close. Bed was comfortable. Big bathroom with bidet. The common room is a bit old style but comfortable. The included breakfast is a 2€ credit in a bar where you can choose among many things. Free purified water in the common room. It's my second time there, last time in my bedroom there was only another guy, this time nobody. The checkin was extremely fast because they already had my data and I didn't have to do anything apart from getting the keys.

I would add some power sockets in the common area, and maybe a table close to them, so that it's easier to use the laptop. It's a small village, so no much fun around, and you need a vehicle to get there. No lockers.

Staying at the ecOstello was an amazing experience. The hostel is near a park full of pine trees, in a pretty building surrounding a church. Children playing, crickets in the park and the bell ringing time composed the soundtrack of my stay. The staff is friendly and welcoming, they have been really helpful in many situations. The village is lovely, authentic and welcoming. The cafés are a great place to spend time and get to know the local people. You can find there pretty much everything you need. If you are looking to get immersed in a calm Italian village, this is the place to go!

I managed to get to the hostel from the train station by foot but it's not ideal, especially in the winding part of the road to get up to the village. I'd suggest trying to coordinate with the bus passing in the morning.

Nice central hostel located on a scenic viewpoint. The dorm is really big and the beds confortable, with individual lights. The towels are provided free of charge, which is not common for hostels. The common room in big and there is a water dispenser for guests.

The shower drain was partially blocked, therefore the shower had to be really short.

Although hard to get there by bicycle, the location is special, as are the staff. The position relative to town is very convenient. I loved the water cooler idea.

Backpackers who start partying at midnight 😱 .. what are you, vampires? A croissant and coffee does not qualify as "breakfast included" - perhaps "breakfast voucher" or "mini breakfast". Wifi not so great.

The staff was very nice. They showed me around the building on my arrival and answered all of my questions. They picked up the phone promptly when I called the property to confirm my time of arrival. The place is perfect for a stopover if you are driving a long way on the A1 motorway (Milan-Naples or viceversa). Take the exit "Magliano Sabina" and the hostel is only a 5min drive away from there. There's free parking on the street just outside. The check-out was speedy. I paid the night before leaving and simply left the key in my room so I could get on the road in no time in the morning. There's a common room with a fridge, microwave and water dispenser. Wi-Fi is very fast. They will give you a voucher to have your breakfast at one of the 3 cafés in the town centre, just a couple minutes away on foot. I picked Caffè Manlio. Highly recommended!

I was not given a bathroom mat to put near the shower. There's no sockets right by the bed.

Breakfast with Voucher at local bars (1 cafe/capuccino, 1 corneto value 3€) double Rooms are huge and - compared to most italian hotels QUIET 2 or 3 Local restaurants in old town might be also okay, we opted for Giancarla down in the valley is a real italian gem run by 3 ladies with pure passion!

Wifi didn't work, heating not yes on late October, 1st November ("comunal decision")

It's the only hostel with price <20€ in I don't know how many km, and if you have a vehicle to reach it it's a must. Comfortable rooms with well equipped and clean bathroom, comfortable bed, for the (little) breakfast you receive a coupon to spend in local bars/cafes, so potentially also before 6am. Magliano Sabina is of course an extremely quiet place. There are bars and restaurants at walking distance, and a nice little park with a beautiful view just at the exit

Everything. Splendid location, friendly and tight community. Spacious room with high a ceiling, double shower. Simple and comfortable.
