Free mini bar in our room and free coffee available all day in the breakfast room. The Continental breakfast was good with great local pastries available. The staff were very friendly and helpful and reception was open for much longer hours than we'd come to expect in the smaller Italian hotels. There's a recent internal renovation and the hotel is very fresh and comfortable. We would happily stay there again.

Like much of Italy the hotel is surrounded by scaffolding, although there doesn't seem to be any work happening, and so we weren't comfortable leaving the windows open at night and had to run the air-conditioning when we would have preferred not to.

Very good location. The staff was exceptional; very helpful and very quick to respond to special requests and questions we had well before our arrival. The breakfast was excellent!

Our room had a bit of an odour, which was not totally unexpected when staying in older buildings with historic infrastructure. We never mentioned it to the staff as it seemed to dissipate with the windows open and we were only in town for one night.

Central location perfect and quiet enough. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff who booked restaurants for us and smiled throughout. Comfortable bed, bathroom tight but acceptable. Good value. Charming service. Stayed 4 nights in foggy November. Recommended and would definitely return. Lift useful with suitcases.

Exterior needs repairing but no matter.

The staff was really exceptional. Very friendly and super helpful. The bathroom had good size and even a window! All very clean and new.

Room sizes vary. Our bedroom was very small. Also, there is a bar nearby that can get noisy at night. We still slept very well and enjoyed our stay at Broletto.

Central location in the city centre. Room had air conditioning, which was indispensable given that it was 35 degrees C outside. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was quite good.

Small desk was not great for working, and the room was not very dark, even with the shutters closed.

The location was really good, located in the city centre. The room was comfortable and well equipped; even if the two rooms are not communicating, they're close and it seems to have a little apartment. The staff was really nice and available for any tips. Breakfast is various and food is really good (expecially pain au chocolat).

Nothing at all.

We were not able to control the heat in the bathroom. It was way too hot causing a subtropical feeling. We couldn't leave the windows open to cool off the room because of the surrounding street noise. If you don't mind loud noise until after midnight than don't worry but we generally go to bed at 10 so it was difficult for us.

The location was great for visiting historical sites, shopping, eating, people watching. The bed was very comfortable, rooms were very clean, the staff was really nice and the breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast. We especially liked the access to a an espresso machine at any time as well as access to water. Loved the fact that there was an elevator.

Good breakfast with excellent pastries and a variety of self made coffee in capsules for espresso machine. Rooms are quite small but OK for two or three nights. Location is fantastic, could not be better.

Provide bread rolls for cold cuts. Single room is quite small and bathroom is tiny, for a child or teenager.

We had a junior suite which had windows looking onto two adjoining streets which were full of atmosphere and charm. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located at the heart of the Old historic town quite close to the Palazzo Ducale.

The shower in the bath was a little awkward leading me to spill water everywhere when used for the first time. All fine once I knew!

Excellent location. Lovely, if small, junior suite with two balconies and a good sized bath. Complimentary mini bar. TV with sky box and Netflix. 24hr drinks, tea and coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The ceiling radiator in our bathroom leaked throughout the visit. It dripped onto a light fitting and a wall-mounted electric hairdryer. The staff helpfully arranged same day maintenance and it stopped, but only temporarily. They committed to arranging further maintenance, but that inevitably fell outwith the duration of our stay.
