There were elements of the "normal" breakfast, but there were very few of them - the scrambled eggs and bacon were cold and the bread a little dry. In my opinion, breakfast in a 4 star hotel should be much better.

Modern Hotel with subterranean parking. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, all facilities perfect apart from the small shower. We had dinner, which was very tasty and away from the group of bus tourists, who were noisy. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Didn't bother with soggy pale bacon and rubbery fried egg. Only one coffee machine, be aware. It's about 20 minute walk from hotel to the edge of the sassis. Would definitely stay here again!

Fried breakfast was unappetising. Shower very small.

Great Stay! Franceso at reception, was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. He suggested us dinner at hotel restaurant, and it was very good. We had the oportunity to dinner 2 nights. The menu changes every night, and they use only fresh ingredients. Chef Domenico was always very attentive, explained the dishes, and make great meals. The Hotel has been renovated, and the room room is spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Special thanks to Francesco, Domenico and his wife Giovana.

I've liked the stay at all.

The location is great if you're looking to walk around Matera. The room is beautiful.

No air conditioning in the room when we visited.

Would have perhaps liked some more savory choices for breakfast, and oatmeal.

Very nice standard, good air-conditioning, very early check-in was possible (before 12pm even), good breakfast

Nothing to complain however for some people distance to Sassi might be an issue (20min walk)

Place was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly.

Although the room was a perfect size we found the shower was very small considering my wife and I are average size.

Excellent hotel with very clean and comfortable room. Secure parking at 8 Eur/day.

For a 4* hotel, it would be nice if the room is provided with a kettle and tea bags, etc.

Breakfast was fantastic, the hotel offers parking.. easy to find location, great rooms… fast check-in/check-out
