I had a wonderful stay at Albergo Casa Del Pellegrino for one night in Monte Sant’Angelo. The experience was perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the sacred Cave of Saint Michael, which added a special spiritual touch to my visit. The atmosphere of the entire trip was peaceful and holy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting this blessed town!

Loved the convenience of the location! So blessed that we found this place! Loved the staff! The parking was also easy to access. Wish I can live here until I die. It's so peaceful and holy. Such a wonderful and happy place!

Great location, right next to the Basilica. Great view from the terrace in the restaurant. Very clean. The only thing I was missing was the air conditioning. I couldn't sleep because it was too hot in the middle of August and too much noise from outside when I opened the window.

The location of the hotel was perfect for visitors of the Cave of Saint Michael. The Sanctuary was right next to the hotel and we were taught that there is an elevator in the hotel that takes us directly to the floor of the cave inside the sanctuary. We were able to use that elevator several times to enter the sanctuary during our stay. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was big. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Monte Sant'Angelo.

Breakfast should be better. Dry bread is ot good solution. Anyway I don;t go there to eat this kind of bread. In the cave there is the best.

Further)The Casa del Pellegrino is the perfect place to come to Monte Sant'Angelo as a pilgrim or religiously minded visitor. The facilities are first class with every comfort and ultra clean but unostentatious - perfect! There is a cafe and good sized very comfortable seating area in the lobby, with a small cafe. Breakfast is simple & excellent. There is the opportunity to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant at great value. Quality so so, but we are pilgrims! All the staff are all very courteous and friendly. Location!! It is a 1 (one) minute walk to the entrance of the Sanctuary of St Michael. The centro storico, the castle - and everything is on your doorstep. Monte Sant'Angelo is a fantastic genuine town worth much more than a short stay. There is a SITA bus stop again a 1 (one) minute walk away (services from this stop to San Giovanni Rotundo, some continuing further ). The main town centre stop less then 10 minutes with more services. But check timetables carefully (we were caught out!) Please God we are definitely coming back to Monte Sant'Angelo & the Sanctuary - and will definitely stay at the Casa del Pellegrino again. Many thanks!

It is right next to the Sanctuary. It is built into the hillside. So the entrance and reception from the road is actually the 6th floor and the elevator goes down to the rooms on 5th floor and below (my room had a beautiful view), restaurant on 3rd floor and it does down to zero floor where there is another road. Across the road is dedicated parking for the hotel. Everything looks new and spotlessly clean. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. This is the first time I stayed at Monte Sant'Angelo. I always did day trips from San Giovanni Rotondo. But not anymore. I was not rushed and had time to explore the town. And I found my place to stay in the future. There is no reason to look elsewhere. This has everything including a great location. The temperature dropped in early April and the room was warm and cozy. And there are plenty of extra blankets that I didn't use.

Very well situated, right next to the sanctuary and within some minutes of walking to all major points of interest. Maybe breakfast could be improved with some fresh products, not only packed ones.

Location, location, location!!! It’s the best place for a pilgrim to stay and participate in all the prayers at St Michael Sanctuary. Very clean and peaceful. It was almost like living on the sanctuary grounds .
