Dogana Resort is an old Customs House in the port of Molfetta converted into a wonderful modern 5 star hotel, with all modern amenities. Room 210 was wonderful… high ceiling, king bed, modern bathroom, balcony overlooking the port and city, the view of the port and sunset was out of this world. The rooftop terrace sky bar is the place to be, with a glass of wine around sunset, with more amazing views. The class, the service and food at the Dogana restaurant is out of this world. The Maître D recommended food based on our taste, and we had a wonderful dinner. The breakfast is a plenty, and amazing. Last but not least, all the staff in the resort are very cordial, professional and accommodating. We loved our stay, and will definitely come back!

This is a magnificent hotel in a great location in a beautiful little town. The building itself is incredible and its renovation is perfect. The staff are extremely pleasant and competent. The breakfast was delicious. The technical equipment in the rooms (eg., Wifi and A/C) are great and very efficient. This is literally a perfect hotel. One little thing I especially liked: the charge for valet parking overnight is EUR 20, which is totally reasonable. I love a hotel that doesn't nickel and dime customers on things like this.

The location is fantastic and it has a very friendly team. We visited Molfetta from September 24th until 28th and the weather was still very nice (26-30 degrees). We had a Deluxe 2 persons room with balcony and sea view. They have a great breakfast a la cart. Furthermore, there are several nice restaurants nearby. Visited several cities as Bari, Giovinazzo, Polignano, Alberobello and Matera by (rent)car. Overall it is a beautiful area/region. We used the APP Komoot for walking routes.

Huge room with a balcony that sits right on the port. The hotel is a very special building with 5 stars service. Although we didn't enjoy the bar rooftop since the hotel was pretty empty, I can only imagine the experience. Breakfast was great. It's a very good spot to enjoy a great hotel, good location at a great price

It's not new for hotels, but there's no all-day parking spot in the hotel (although you can park the car for a few hours outside), so you need to pay for 24 hours parking service by the hotel or find a public parking spot.

Beautiful building, clean and amazingly located.

Breakfast has a lot of payable supplements, aside from all types of eggs, if you want other meats than simple ham or smoked salmon, etc, you have to pay extras. This is not happening even on a 4 stars and almost never at a 5 stars since these are basic foods for breakfast. Also, it is worth mentioning that despite generous parking space in front of the hotel, you are asked to leave the key for the car to be taken in a 20 euros per day parking place.

Very nice hotel just half an hour north of Bari. Perfect place to stay for anyone looking to visit less popular parts of beautiful Italian coast. This is one of the best hotels in Molfetta, the staff is absolutely superb, the restaurant is top class and the view from our balcony was unforgettable. As a foreign tourist in Italy you might feel ignored or let down sometimes, especially if you visit popular tourist destinations. In Dogana Resort in Molfetta you will feel most welcome as their customer service is at highest level. We hope to visit Puglia again in future.

The only thing the did not have sufficient amount of storage at the rooms: no wardrobe for clothing, no shelves, no chest of drawers - making a bit difficult and messy looking after unpacking. Anyway, there is one rail for hangers and they supplied more hangers if needed.

Perfect spot , easy to get to , felt very welcoming and nice inside. The area felt safe outside for night walks. The returning fishing boats with daily catches close by to see daily life and interactions was genuinely authentic. I wish we could have stayed longer as this location has lots to offer. The hotel restaurant was excellent and you should eat here. The rooftop to the sitting and bar area has a great view in this 4 story building over the little Harbor area. Some really good hang out spots in the hotel. The room was excellent beds where comfortable and good night sleep was easy. Wifi is excellent, the room was quiet with no noisy neighbors sounds. Valet services are on the ball and parking and car scheduled return gets top stars they provide excellent service. I would stay here again in a minute.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dogana Resort, and I can confidently say that it was a truly exceptional experience. The proximity to the sea provided great views, and I was lucky enough to have a sea view room, which only enhanced the overall experience. Waking up to the sight of the sparkling waters and watching the sunset from my room was truly a treat for the senses. Dogana Resort truly has it all. From its spacious and impeccably clean rooms, to the exceptional staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, every aspect of this resort is top-notch. the athomsphere, the feeling, to be in a very old building, parking is close

it is off (+15m) the main Pulgia sightseeing road this is extra time if you are about to see the whole of Puglia breakfast starts late and made to order, we wanted to start our day earlier and we couldnt, please consider (re)introducing buffet style breakfast

We (a family with 2 kids) had an apartment with a sea view and it was really worth it! The view was just incredible. The staff was great and helpful, above all the man working in the evening - Fabrizio (I think) was very polite and willing to answer all our questions. The continental breakfast was served in the restaurant and was also great, very tasty, and varied. The minibar was included (prosecco, coke, Fanta, water)and refilled every day. We also used the service of parking (20 EUR/day) - we handed over the car keys at the reception, left the car in front of the hotel, and somebody has taken the car into a parking house and brought it back to the agreed time. Driving in narrow streets and looking for parking is for strong nerves and it needs a lot of time. We stayed at the Dogana Resort in November, the weather was just fine, the only problem was that it was dark very early so we could not enjoy a long day sightseeing - there is so much to see in Puglia. But during the summer it must be very hot here. We will definitely come back again to this region and into Dogan Resort of course:-)
