Location close to the beach was perfect. The owners were super friendly. Breakfast was good (not like all out fantastic- but as much as you want, fresh bread, eggs, yoghurt with endless kinds of granola, all kinds of jam/ nutella/ honey, small donuts and muffins, pie, for cheese and prosciutto you just have to ask- which I think is great because it can be kept fresh and not out in the heat all morning). Airconditioning in the room. Parking on site. Good bed. View of the lake on terrace/ in restaurant. Loved my stay!

The hotel has seen better times. Bathroom is old (likely difficult to clean) and moldy and not for really big people :-), tiny shower cubicle. Walls are thin (heard the neighbours having "fun" one night- but the other nights it was perfectly quiet, no youth making noise or anything). It's all a little bit messy and not very esthetic, but if you re not too sensitive to that you will definitely have a great time here. (It just made my hands itch because the place has so much potential)

This is a great value hotel, very near to the port of Monega and Lake Garda. It's location was ideal for us, as it was a 5 minute walk down to the lovely bars and restaurant on the harbour at Monega. Plenty of parking at the front of the hotel for the number of rooms/guests. It is family run, and the host (Roberto) and his family made us very welcome. Our double room was not big, but it was perfect for our requirements and had a great balcony overlooking the lake (most rooms seem to have this) Okay, the hotel is not modern and plush in any way the size of the shower in our room always made it a bit of a challenge. but the hotel has a very comfortable and relaxed feel. Recommended for travellers who wish to spend their time enjoying all that Monega and the beautiful area has to offer. Breakfast and the overall service was good.

The size of the showers has been mentioned before; not much room to move around ! Some of the decor inside and outside is a bit dilapidated, but we thought added to the charm. The cost of making changes would no doubt increase the room prices considerably, which would lose some of it's appeal. The Hotel du Lac may not suit everybody, but we visit the area to see our daughter every year and will definitely use this hotel again.

I had a great stay for 4 days. It felt very homey and peaceful. The hotel has a prime location and for the price point offers a really good experience. The staff was always friendly, always helpful and very welcoming. The room was basic but complete and comfortable, with a wonderful view over the lake. They cleaned the bathroom and made the bed everyday. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding, homemade and really not expensive for the amounts you get. The breakfast was good, with the possibility to order more if desired and having fresh coffee.

Excellent location, very nice hotel owners and good breakfast. A bit unusual without TV in a hotel room nowadays but not disturbing. Very good restaurants in Moniga, better quality for money than in Desenzano, no turist traps.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good atmosphere, clean rooms, good air condition, perfect location next to the Moniga Port, terrace with a view on the lake, delicious coffee. We had a very pleasant stay and can highly recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was simple but really tasty. Staff is very very friendly and try their best to help you and give advice where to swim or where to eat. I had a really good experience and we want to come again every year for the hotel Du Lac

furniture was a bit old school

Friendly staff and very well located within 200m from the lake front in Moniga. Breakfasts were nice and amazing coffee as well. Rooms were clean and balcony view was also a bonus.

The Aircon was underpowered. It didn’t cool the room sufficiently at times. We never woke up sweating but it also didn’t get the room down to a cool 19 degrees that is nice to feel after spending a long day in the heat outside.

The breakfast was excellent a wide range of cereal fruits eggs bread and meat and cheese

good value for money, has a good view and very close to the beach. nice people.

Furniture are old but it’s ok. the extra furnitures in the hallway gives a hectic look to the stairs and hallway.
