Pina and Daniela are 2 amazing hosts! We loved their authentic and genuine masseria and the services associated: breakfast and swimming pool were amazing! The garden was so quiet as well as the place in general lost in the countryside! We will for sure come back

The location is good for exploring Puglia by car (no chance to move by any other kind of transport, not even by walking)

By reading the reviews, we booked for 4 nights expecting to enjoy the Apulian countryside and relax with an amazing view. Unfortunately, it did not turn out as we expected. Here's why: -we arrived by lunch time, it was 37°C outside (100°F) and the wall fan (ventilator) of the double room was not working and we were not notified about this, in advance. There were just 2 ordinary fans, one in each room, while outside it was the peak of the heat. Needless to say that the 2 ventilators were not efficient at all to make the stay inside bearable. It was very bad. I wanted to cancel, but the owner said the fan technician would arrive that same day so we decided to wait, thinking it would get better. The technician did not arrive that day, but the next one in the afternoon. We spent the whole day in Alberobello and Polignano. The next day (3d) when we turned on the wall fan, we saw that it was oscillating all the time while working and that was quite old and not efficient at all ( I have videos), so we did not keep it on, at all. This is the main reason of our low rating. -At this point, it was to late to cancel and change (logistically very tiring, we were in a another city the day before and we had a reservation in another city the 6th day) so we said, let's enjoy the outdoor at least. Turns out, we could not even do that. There were some very aggressive tiger mosquitos and some smaller sticking insects by the pool. Stayed there for 5 mins, they were all over our bodies, the Nightmare! Same issue for the very nice terrace exposed in the property pictures. We were not informed about this problem, so as to buy some insecticide beforehand. The next day we bought the insects repelling spray, and it did protect us, though not fully. We spent very little time in the terrace, just one late night during the time mosquitos were less aggressive.
