Palazzo Ruggiero was a stunning place to stay and unbelievable value for money. We had a beautiful room overlooking the main square. Room was very quiet. There was a fiesta the night we stayed in the plaza next to the hotel but but we did not hear anything in the room. Pasquale our host was utterly charming and provided a lovely breakfast. Pasquale also runs a ceramic shop opposite the hotel which is full of lovely, interesting things made by him!!! Parking is free in the main square next to the Palazzo. Opposite the hotel is a fabulous café which provides the most copious bar snacks we have ever had anywhere. Four dishes with 2 drinks!!! And the staff were very friendly. Dinner at Vintage Wine Bar and Pizzeria was superb, best pizza my wife had ever eaten. The Taurasi wine was also fabulous. A magical place to stay, well worth a detour. The only comment I would make is to time your arrival before 13.00 or after 17.00 as absolutely nothing is open between times!!!

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect.

Pasquale was an excellent host. He arranged a private cooking class with the chef Vintage Wine Bar/Pizzaria. He made us fresh caffe and capuchino every morning (we were there 6 nights). Gave us good advice on seeing Pompeii. We were a bit surprised at the isolated location of Montefusco but it turned out to be a wonderful experience...great food in the restaurants, lovely views, friendly people, interesting history. We also had a tour/tasting at nearby Podere Melone - excellent! We had two comfortable rooms: Room 1 with a huge jacuzzi tub that we never used and Room 3 with a cute balcony overlooking the square and mountain vew. Room 3 is big enough to add a small extra bed.

Getting up to Montefusco is quite a drive. There are very narrow roadways in the town so it's better to use the back route by the post office to get in and out.

Brilliant location, excellent continental breakfast with plenty of different sweet choices, whole property was immaculate. Great facilities in room, comfortable large bed, air con, hairdryer, spa bath and shower! Love the position in village walking distance from restaurants and cafe bar, spectacular views from property and surrounding area. Host, Pasquale is very helpful and provides a personal touch not found in larger properties, excellent customer service! This was a return visit, we 100% recommend staying here and hope to return again soon! 😊😍

No complaints - everything was perfect for us, everything we needed was available! Extremely clean and comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation!

Montefusco is a small village built in 1200 and has about 1000 people. Very beautiful and traditional. There are no tourists, just locals. The Palazzo Ruggiero was amazing. Ennio, the owner, was wonderful! We had a wonderful dinner at D Teodora and the best cappuccino at the cafe in the center by the church. The Palazzo Ruggiero was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. We will definitely go back again.

We loved Montefusco and the warm hospitality of Pasquale. The accommodation was perfect with sweeping view of the main square. Very comfy and well appointed rooms. A short stroll to lovely ceramic shop, butcher, tourist office and more. We also had one of the nicest and most delicious rustic meals ever at Ristorante Beatrice. We will be back to Montefusco, it is so charming and beautiful, and our host and the locals generous and welcoming. Thank you!

We had the most unforgettable time! The view on the mountain is breathtaking, the restaurant of Beatrice which Pasquale helped us to reserve is shockingly delicious. Room is impeccable. We had the privilege of meeting amazing local people from Montefusco, highlight of the whole trip. Pasquale is super kind and helpful!

Pasquale was very friendly and helpful with his recommendations and instructions. The B&B was very cozy and quaint with little details everywhere.

The traces of moisture on the bathroom ceiling, although I understand that it is due to the jacuzzi and lack of air circulation in the winter. Also, we could've used some small samples of shampoo/body wash.

Pasquale was an excellent host who is very knowledgeable about the history of this most charming village in the vineyards of Campania. He has restored a section of an important Palazzo and converted it into a small B&B. Our room looked out on to the town square and clock tower.. There are some good restaurants nearby and great views across the Campania country side.

The shower in our room was a bit cramped.

The town of Montefusco is incredible! The Palazzo is located smack bang in the middle, with parking directly outside, and amazing views of the countryside from the top of the hill the town is on. One of the most spectacular locations we have ever stayed at. The room was comfortable, stylishly decorated, and the welcome we received was great. A nice breakfast was available. Good food can be had for lunch/dinner in a number of places only a minute away. WiFi was good. Our room had a balcony with amazing view.

Nothing - all was great

Everything was perfect about this bed and breakfast. Pasquale was the perfect host and even made coffee for us when we arrived. The local coffee bar was closed on Monday. Pasquale and his son also have a ceramic shop actross the street and I found a wonderful mirror there. The view was phenomenal.
